Shuichengmen Mosque (Northeast Gate)

The Shuichengmen Mosque was built in the early years of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty and got its name because it is located at the gate of Dongguan Shuicheng. Founded in the early years of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty, it was destroyed by Bingxian in the 21st year of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1896) and was rebuilt in 1922. It is one of the oldest mosques in Dongguan, Xining. During the religious reform in 1958, the monastery was occupied by the Lead Wire Society in Chengdong District, Xining City, and it was not until 1980 that part of the monastery house was returned to the mosque. It was rebuilt in 1983, and the worship hall was newly built. There are fourteen houses and two wake-up buildings on the second floor. One brick-concrete structure in the north, one two-story building in the east, and two brick-concrete buildings in the south. One storey building and two civil structure bungalows. The entire mosque adopts the traditional Chinese classical architectural style, and the main hall is simple, elegant and magnificent. The Awakening Pavilion is an antique building with a height of 5 floors, which echoes the overall style of the main hall.
