护国寺梵净山西门的入口，也是早前的国寺，就是明朝年间在梵净山周围修建了八大寺庙，四十八脚俺，可惜好多寺庙在文革时期被毁，护国寺是保存完好的寺庙之一！西线就从这里上山，坐观光车到棉絮岭，再上山只要二小时就到山顶了
