Drivers could only go to the basement, which made coming and going quite a hassle. The room number was incredibly hard to find, with no signs or directions whatsoever. Apart from a brief gesture from the front desk, we didn't encounter any other staff members, so there was no one to ask when we couldn't find our room. We wasted a lot of time trying to locate it ourselves. Overall, the room type and amenities were decent, but there's significant room for improvement in terms of directional signage and shuttle/transfer services.

I put a lot of effort into finding a hotel in the city center and after comparing many options, I chose this 5-star Jinjiang Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised! 😀 First, the hotel's location is unbeatable. It's very convenient for transportation and just a stone's throw away from Tongren Ancient City, with bustling surroundings like a blooming garden 🌸😄. Second, the hotel facilities are comprehensive. There's a parking lot 🅿️, a magnificent lobby, convenient and fast elevators/stairs. The hygiene is clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the environment is elegant and quiet. Staying on a high floor, you can see a winding river below and lush green mountains shrouded in mist in the distance – it's absolutely beautiful! Third, let's talk about the service. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and helpful. We had a lot of luggage, and they efficiently arranged for someone to assist us. Most importantly, the value for money is outstanding, I highly recommend it! 👍👍👍

Guest User: The hotel's location and ambiance are excellent, right by the Jinjiang River within the ancient city. It features a Suzhou garden style, which is very elegant. Guests can enjoy a complimentary tea ceremony experience (it's not a rushed affair, it's a full hour!). It's also very convenient for exploring the ancient city and enjoying a night cruise on the Jinjiang River. The front desk staff, Xiao Fu and Xiao Ju, provided great service. The only minor drawback was that I booked a river-view room, but the river was quite narrow, and the sound of cars from the opposite bank at night could be a bit disruptive for light sleepers. However, after I reported it, the hotel promptly moved me to a courtyard room. Overall, it's a very good experience.

Beixunheidexiaozhu: There are three beds in total: one 1.8-meter double bed and two smaller beds, plus one bathroom, suitable for at least four people. There's a door between the two rooms. The amenities are basic, just the essentials. It's advisable to check the bedding for any stubborn, unremovable colors before setting it up to avoid discomfort during your stay. The bathroom is small, the ventilation isn't great, and there's a slight odor. The showerhead's water flow isn't very even, but it's acceptable considering the low price. In the evening, we strolled around the old town and ate matcha ice cream, braised beef, rice tofu, and glutinous rice balls. The receptionist was very polite and answered all our questions.

It hides pristine Ming and Qing dynasty ancient villages and hot springs that have been flowing for 400 years ♨️ It's Shiqian in Tongren ✨ It's quiet and uncrowded, filled with the authentic, everyday charm of eastern Guizhou—truly the gold standard for niche travel! 🏆 📍 Shiqian, Tongren, Guizhou You can drive yourself or join a tour. The attractions in the town are relatively spread out, so I recommend 2–3 days to explore and soak at a leisurely pace~ 📋 My itinerary Day 1: Shiqian city center → Wanshou Palace ancient building complex → Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum → Loushang Ancient Village → Soak in the hot springs at night 1️⃣ Wanshou Palace ancient building complex The largest existing Wanshou Palace complex in the country! As soon as the air turns cool, I can't sit still. I always want to head somewhere with mountains and water. My friend and I decided on a whim over the weekend to head out from Chengdu—it's just a 1.5-hour drive. The moment we turned into Hongxia Valley, all I could hear was the sound of water and wind🌿 We strolled slowly along the boardwalk. The breeze coming off the stream was cool and refreshing🍃 The entire 8.6km boardwalk runs right along the water🪵 It's flat and easy to walk, so you don't feel rushed or tired out~ - We easily hit over 10,000 steps, but luckily I wore my new hiking shoes. They feel light and soft, with a nice bounce, and the fit is just right—my feet didn't feel tired at all. The thick sole even gives a little height boost, which is great for photos!! The white and gray color scheme is simple and stylish, and the deep-tread soles are slip-resistant and durable, perfect for autumn hiking🍂 📍Navigation: Hongxia Valley Guantong Bridge Boardwalk Entrance, about a 1.5-hour drive from Chengdu 🎫Admission: Free 🗺️Route: Guantong Bridge Entrance → Jinyu Bridge → Emerald Pool → Feilong Waterfall, return the same way, about 2 hours 👟There is moss on the boardwalk, so wear slip-resistant shoes~ 🧥It's cool in the morning and evening in autumn, so bring a light jacket 🦟There are still mosquitoes, so bring some repellent

Heading to Sinan, I happened to catch the Wujiang River Dragon Boat Racing intangible cultural heritage extravaganza. With feathered headdresses and unique makeup, the dancers' powerful steps fully showcased the strength of local culture. The young performers' dance, lifting large winnowing baskets, was lively and adorable, with every expression full of childlike charm. After the show, I also visited the Wujiang Pearl Bridge, where a helicopter was parked quietly, blending the landscape with the city. For this trip, I stayed at the Bailuzhou Hotel in Sinan County. Living right by the river made it very convenient to explore the activities, and I could even take a stroll along the Wujiang River bank in the evening. ✨Travel Tips ✅ The event area is crowded, so it's recommended to arrive early to secure a spot ✅ You can visit the Sinan Ancient Town and Wujiang scenery along the way ✅ Bailuzhou Hotel is not far from the event venue, making travel worry-free

If you're looking to visit a fairyland mountain in Guizhou, Fanjingshan is a must! As a World Natural Heritage site, this "City in the Sky" is shrouded in clouds and mist, hiding unique rock formations, seas of clouds, and Buddha's light. By combining the cable car with light hiking, even those with average stamina can enjoy it. Here is my honest travel guide. Essentials Be sure to wear non-slip sneakers, as there are many steps on the mountain, and the Hongyun Golden Summit section is steep and narrow. The temperature difference at the summit is significant; even if you visit in summer, bring a light jacket and a disposable raincoat, as mountain weather is unpredictable and can turn foggy or rainy at any time. For local food, try sour soup fish, Tongren shefan (herbal rice), and cured meat; the restaurants at the foot of the mountain are authentic. For accommodation, prioritize homestays near the East Gate of Fanjingshan, as they are very close to the entrance. If driving, you can head directly to the East Gate parking lot. If taking the high-speed rail, get off at Tongren Station and transfer to the shuttle bus to reach the scenic area. Tickets Fanjingshan admission tickets must be booked online in advance with real-name registration. They sell out easily during peak season, and there is a daily visitor limit. The admission ticket is CNY 100, the round-trip scenic shuttle bus is CNY 20, and the round-trip cable car is CNY 140. The cable car is optional; if you have plenty of stamina, you can hike the entire way up. Children, seniors, and students can enjoy ticket discounts with valid ID. Walking along the ravine in the scenic area, you can see incredibly clear emerald water. The valley is bursting with negative oxygen ions, and the temperature is very comfortable. In summer, it's advisable to bring a pair of shoes suitable for stream tracing; soaking your feet in the water would be a wonderful experience. Climbing up from the bottom of the ravine to see the sacred tree of Yamu involves over 700 steps, which is quite challenging, so be sure to conserve your energy. You can visit the Ming Dynasty Ancient Courtyard, and then take a bus back. The entire trip takes about 2 hours.

It's fun and worth visiting, especially the 80s-themed area. The best part is to dress up in period clothing and take some photos; it really captures the era. It's a perfect blend of nature and vintage charm, making it well worth a visit. It takes about half a day, but it's definitely worth seeing.

A very beautiful place. However, I had an experience that I have to share. I fell down in there. In fact, exactly near the small river (my 1st picture). I was taking photos for my wife, and suddenly I was in the water. I sprained myself. The fruitseller was very helpful to help me back up and found my phone in the water. After I was up, my wife also almost slipped, and another person afterwards also almost slipped. The floor is just too much moist and slippery. I hope the management look into that area. So please be very careful. The place itself is amazing. I walked for almost an hour, and I love it. The simple life of the people, the surrounding mountains, the old buildings and the farms. All look peaceful and relaxing to walk around..I recommend a visit but just be careful when walking.
