Siming Lake

Siming Lake is located in Liangnong Town, Yuyao City, north of Siming Mountain, more than 10 kilometers away from the urban area. Siming Lake brings together streams, springs and waterfalls, with a volume of about 120 million cubic meters. It irrigates 300,000 mu of fertile land in the northwest of Yuyao. The lake is rich in fishery resources and attracts a large number of birds. There are Bazi Bridge, Wildcat Bay, Dingshan, etc. in the lake, forming 5 lake islands, like emeralds inlaid in a mirror, which adds to the charm of Siming Lake. Yutu Island in the center of the lake is an island in Siming Lake, covering an area of about 270 mu. Its shape resembles a jade rabbit, especially on the night of the moon, when viewed from the lake, it looks like a jade rabbit worshiping the moon. There are green pines and green bamboos on the island, orchards and tea gardens all over the mountains and plains, winding mountain paths, wandering, simple and quiet, refreshing. Yutu Island has been built into Siming Lake Resort, and has become a leisure resort in eastern Zhejiang. There are also scenic spots such as Wugui Building and Baishui Chong, the second library building in eastern Zhejiang around the lake.
