Pingguhu Dongshui Scenic Resort

Hudongshui Scenic Area, located on the north side of Huangsongyu Reservoir, Pinggu District, Beijing. It was developed and built in 1989. The total area is 9 square kilometers. The east and west are 5,000 meters long and the north and south are 1,500 meters wide. Because there are lakes in the valley and there are caves in the mountains. 湖洞水风景区位于平谷县城东北的黄松峪乡湖洞水村附近，为一条长约6千米的大峡谷，由峡谷、峰、石、水潭、林木及庙宇构成。北行2千米有飞龙谷，西有京东大峡谷、轩辕台、丫髻山、东有金海湖。由于此处谷中有湖，山中有洞，溪水常流而得名。湖洞水是京郊理想的避暑郊游胜地。

There are cool and elegant summer resorts in the scenic area, with more than 20 landscapes such as Sanniang Cave, Echo Cave, General Cave, First Line Tian, Yanchi Cliff. Walk along the stream, and the first thing you see is the three big words "Lake Dongshui" on the rock wall of the mountain gate. The tall white archway stands where the stream flows out. Later, every time the drought was serious, farmers in Shili Village and Townships, three or five groups of farmers, carried supplies to this rain, very practical. The most spectacular is the slope of about 45 degrees, the ladder made of mountains and stones, almost straight up and down, as if to climb the sky. The 800-level ladder made of mountain stones leads directly to the Niangniang Temple on the top of the mountain. There is a viewing pavilion in the center of the ladder, and it is a "Huaitian Lanyue" archway. Lifting your eyes and looking at the valley, the valley streams and secluded stones in the canyon, and the streams flowing through the secluded stones are hidden and present, showing a dynamic, quiet and harmonious beauty. The lake cave water peaks are weird, the canyon is dangerous, the mountains are dense, and the water show caves are strange. This is really a fun place. Go to the lake cave water from the city to take the 918 tourist bus directly to the scenic spot, or take the 918 bus directly to Pinggu District City and then transfer to the urban and rural scenery car.
