South Street is located in the core area of Changzhou's central business district. It is a century-old street that has experienced many rises and falls. South Street has a long history of business. According to Kangxi's "Changzhou Fuzhi" in the Qing Dynasty: South Street has been called Street since Ming and Qing Dynasties. It was rebuilt in March 2003 and opened on January 29, 2005, and was officially named. It is South Street Commercial Pedestrian Street. The new South Street Commercial Pedestrian Street starts from Park Road in the east, Nanda Street in the west, Qingguo Lane in the south, and Yanling West Road in the north. The north-south direction is about 600 meters, and the east-west direction is about 120 meters. The total construction area is 240,000 square meters, of which the commercial area is 120,000 square meters, the business office area is 35,000 square meters, the residential area is 45,000 square meters, and the underground parking area is 40,000 square meters.
