AAnonymous User: Great value for money! Don't forget to try the Turkish bath – I missed out this time and regret it a bit. The breakfast was perfect, definitely don't skip it!

GGuest User: Close to the castle and museums, but no supermarkets nearby. The breakfast was very meager. The bed linen was dirty and had dried snot on it, meaning it hadn't been changed after the previous guests. The window doesn't close completely, letting in a lot of cold draft. The heating is only turned on in the evening. I asked for the heating to be turned on, and they brought a heater, which I appreciate. There's mold in the bathroom and no soap.

GGuest User: The hotel was located in the best place I wanted. The U.S. Embassy and AŞTİ bus terminal were so close that we could go there on foot. Our room was on the 16th floor and had a fantastic view of Ankara. The room was clean, and the breakfast was perfect.

GGuest User: The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Tunalı, and the rooms are spacious. The soundproofing between rooms is good, and breakfast is more than adequate. There's also parking available for cars. The only downsides for me were the lack of a mini-bar, and no toiletries like a toothbrush or comb in the bathroom. The bed was a bit saggy, I would have preferred a firmer mattress. Overall, the value for money is very good. I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I return.

LLanaMoscow: We stayed at the hotel for one night, which served the purpose well. The room was clean but smelled of smoke, and the pillow and mattress weren't very comfortable. For the price, the breakfast was quite tasty and had a good variety. The hotel has its own parking lot, and the staff did their best to help.

GGuest User: I had to book this hotel last minute because my original hotel had a gas leak. Its location is great for those traveling by car, as it's right at the entrance of the ancient castle. If you're only staying one night in Ankara, I think this hotel is a good choice. At least the sunset view from the castle is beautiful – probably the only scenery worth seeing in Ankara. However, this hotel is quite surprising. Despite its non-cheap price, when I asked for a few extra bottles of water, they actually charged me for them. I really didn't expect that. The hotel breakfast isn't a buffet; it's served individually per person. The taste is moderate, and there aren't many options. The hotel's strong point is that it includes a ticket to its own museum. I checked, and buying a separate ticket for this museum isn't cheap. The exhibits inside are definitely worth seeing. For this aspect, I'd still recommend it.

Nestled within the vast Anatolian plateau, Ankara is like a pulsating amber, capturing the bronze luster of the Hittite Empire, the majestic stone columns of the Roman Empire, and the vibrant heartbeat of modern Türkiye. This "Heart of Türkiye" is not only the resting place of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic, but also an unfading beacon in the long river of civilization. 1. Anıtkabir (Atatürk's Mausoleum) This magnificent marble mausoleum stands on the highest point of the city, overlooking Ankara's changing days and nights. Atatürk's bronze statue stands solemnly, and the museum within the mausoleum displays relics and manuscripts, each piece narrating the birth pangs and glory of modern Türkiye. 2. Museum of Anatolian Civilizations Housed in a 15th-century Ottoman marketplace building, this treasure trove of civilizations displays tens of thousands of artifacts from the Paleolithic Age to the Byzantine period. The Hittite sphinx, the Bronze Age sun disc, and the gold artifacts from the Phrygian royal tombs tell the story of the millennia-old civilization of the Anatolian plateau. In the dappled light of the exhibition halls, you can almost hear the echoes of ancient camel caravans. 3. Ankara Castle (Ankara Kalesi) This ancient fortress, originally built during the Roman period, outlines Ankara's time-worn contours with its massive stone walls. Climbing to the top of the castle, ochre-red roofs stretch out below, and the minarets of mosques pierce the sky in the distance. At dusk, the setting sun gilds the walls, and the wildflowers and stray cats among the ruins soften the hard edges of history. 4. Atakule As a modern totem of Ankara, this 125-meter-high observation tower takes you to the clouds in a panoramic elevator. Beneath the glass dome, the entire city unfolds like a chessboard—the solemnity of Anıtkabir, the blue tiles of the Kocatepe Mosque, and the traffic on Atatürk Boulevard weave together a dialogue between tradition and modernity. 5. Roman Theatre and Temple of Augustus Scattered throughout the old town of Ulus, the Roman ruins are fragments of time's gifts. The inscription wall of the Temple of Augustus is engraved with the glorious achievements of the Roman Empire, while the remnants of the Roman Theatre still evoke the hustle and bustle of plays and gladiatorial combats. The wind whispers through the crevices of the stone columns, carrying the sighs of the empire into the distance. In Ankara, every stone is a footnote to history, and every corner is a reunion with civilization. As twilight envelops the tiled dome of the Kocatepe Mosque, and the call to prayer from the minaret pierces the sky, you will understand: this is not only the geographical center but also the home of Türkiye's soul.

🌎Turkey, a magical country that blends Eastern and Western cultures, tells legendary stories one after another with thousands of years of history. If you are curious about history, then this self-driving cultural tour will take you through time and space and experience the profound heritage of Türkiye. ⭐️Route recommendations 🚩Ankara→Eskisehir→Bursa→Istanbul Province 🌼Daily schedule DAY1: Anatolian Civilization History Museum-Ankara Tower-Ankara Castle DAY2: Fairy Tale Island (Masal Adası) - Tomb of the Founding Father of Türkiye - Golden Pavilion museum (Golden Pavilion museum) DAY3: Gondola boarding point-Eskisehir Metropolitan Palace of Art and Culture-Turazas Revolutionary Automobile Museum DAY4: Historical Market Square-Bursa Science and Technology Center-Emir Sultan Mosque DAY5: Dolmabahce Palace-Dolmabahce Clock Tower-Taksim Gezi Park DAY6: Blue Mosque - Hagia Sophia - Basilica Cistern - Holy Peace Church - Theodosius Basilica Cistern DAY7: Prince's Island-Island Museum 🌸The self-driving mileage is about 550 kilometers. The recommended travel time is 7-8 days. It is suitable for tourists who like humanities and history. 💖Overview of attractions ✔️Ankara Tower, a landmark building in Ankara, Turkey. There is a 360-degree panoramic revolving restaurant and a cinema at the top of the tower, where visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery and spectacular views of the entire city. ✔️The Mausoleum of the Founding Fathers of Turkey is located on a hill about 2 kilometers away from the center of Ankara. Mustafa Kemal, the founder and first president of the Republic of Turkey, is buried here. In addition, Kemal’s former friend and second president are buried here. A monument to Ismail Teinonu, President of the Republic of Turkey, and a museum introducing Kemal’s life experiences. The Inonu Peace Monument opposite the main courtyard is simple and majestic in style, guarded by tall guards. ✔️Dolmabahce Palace, located in the New City of Istanbul, is also commonly known as the New Palace of the Ottoman Empire. The palace is tall, broad and majestic, with a 600-meter-long wall. The interior walls are covered with gold foil, and the main body is made of white marble and Egyptian alabaster. The palace is mainly composed of two parts, namely the Ceremonial Palace (Selamlık) and the Harem and the Concubine Court (Haremlik). It has a total of 285 rooms, 43 halls and 6 Turkish baths. It is a magnificent masterpiece. ✔️Prince’s Island was once a place where princes were exiled by the Byzantine dynasty, but now it has become the territory of the wealthy. The beautiful beaches and shady green trees attract both locals and foreign tourists. Choosing the right time to travel to the Princes Islands is very important. If you go on weekends or during summer holidays for locals, you will see a lively scene like going to a market. But if you go there during non-holidays, the town will be as peaceful as a paradise, completely different from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. ✔️Hagia Sophia, this is a historical building in Türkiye and one of the symbols of Türkiye. The exterior of Hagia Sophia is a typical mosque dome and minaret. There is a purification pavilion (for mosques) in front of the church, and several stone pillars with carved patterns on the top stand next to it. The large and small partition windows and low-hanging chandeliers in the church maintain the light in the hall, and the exquisite chandeliers bring a warm atmosphere to the hall, and the tall dome gives people a sense of awe. The dome retains Byzantine murals and is very colorful. ☀️Starting from Ankara, passing through Eskisehir, Bursa, and finally arriving in Istanbul, this is a self-driving route full of humanistic atmosphere, and every stop is a witness to history. #trip # Self-driving # Car rental # Self-driving tour

Amasra is one of Turkey’s prettiest Black Sea towns. It is nestled on a picturesque peninsula in Bartın province. Driving along the coast from İstanbul to Samsun, it is the first really appealing resort you come to, grown up around a pair of harbours and the headland in between them. Buses run to Bartın from Istanbul (about 8 hours) and Ankara (about 5 hours), and dolmuşes run on to Amasra from Bartın Otogar. Amasra is easy to get around on foot, with most sights minutes apart. The town is divided into Küçük Liman, the small harbor near the bus terminal, Büyük Liman to the east, the Kale castle district, and Büyük Ada. The history is woven into the streets. The promontory rock of Zindan Kalesi (Dungeon Castle) overlooks Büyük Liman to the east and protects the prettier Küçük Liman to the west, and a Roman-era arch bridge, the Kemere Köprüsü, links it to the island of Boztepe. Most of the castle walls standing today are 14th-century Genoese construction. Fatih Mosque, just east of the Kemere bridge, was built as a Byzantine church in the 9th century and converted to a mosque in 1460. For views, the best thing about Boztepe is enjoying the sea by day and climbing to the top at the end of the day to watch the sunset. Küçük Liman faces west and is a great spot to watch the sunset, and one traveller found it prettier than Büyük Liman, though Büyük Liman looked better for swimming. Surfboard, sailboat, and canoe rentals are available at Büyük Liman, and Inkumu and Direkli Kaya are popular sunset spots. Boat trips from the main harbour head out to Büyükada and along the rugged coast.

The Mausoleum of the Father of the Nation of Turkey is a very large area, consisting of many unique buildings. The environment here is very elegant and solemn. It is a large and quiet resting place. The Father of Turkey is also a very legendary figure, and there are many things to commemorate him.
小思文I recently visited Ankara Castle, and it was a great experience. The castle sits on a hill, giving amazing views of the city. Walking through the old stone paths felt like stepping back in time. The area is calm and has a few local shops and small cafés nearby. It’s a perfect spot for history lovers and anyone who wants to enjoy a quiet place with beautiful scenery.
Poppi poppiIt is one of the best museums in Ankara. It starts with the paleolithic period and goes all the way up to the Roman era.It has a great flow to the displays, and the building itself is amazing. There is a lot of information about the early civilization in English, which I appreciated as well as maps to show where everything was excavated from. The garden outside is full of lovely paths to walk around and lots of places to rest.
DarDar BinxAnkara’nın simgesi bir zamanlar dinazor heykellerinin bulunduğu şimdi ise fışkıyeler bulunan park. Bolca otobüs vardır

目指せ118Swan Park is quite natural. There are many plant resources in the park. Swan Park is also suitable for visiting. There is a lake in the center. It is relatively quiet. It is also good to walk along the streets in the park. [Scenery] The scenery is very good. [Value for money] Free to visit
小鱼儿2015The prison, which was in use until recently, has been opened as a museum and is now bustling with visitors.
目指せ118A very civilized and ancient place to visit, where you can experience the fusion and collision of Asian and African civilizations. Türkiye is a good place worth exploring in depth.
