GGuest User: The room was very spacious, with two bedrooms and a living room. Each bedroom had an en-suite bathroom and a large 1.8-meter bed, all with windows. The living room was also huge, with a big sofa, plenty of space for belongings. The room was clean and tidy, though there weren't many hangers initially, but the front desk sent some up when we called. The room wasn't damp and had no strange odors, and there was plenty of hot water. It's not far from the square and night market. Parking in front of the hotel is limited, but you can park nearby. Breakfast wasn't extensive but was adequate.

BBeibotengmuying: This hotel was a great choice for our trip, and we had an excellent experience. It's super close to the high-speed train station, so we got there quickly after getting off, which was a huge plus when traveling with elderly family and kids. The surrounding area is an older part of town, so food delivery was convenient, and many popular eateries were within walking distance. The front desk and staff were all warm and friendly, patiently answering any questions we had and resolving issues promptly. Our room was quiet and spotless. Staying here made our sightseeing trip stress-free and enjoyable. I highly recommend it to other travelers.

AAnonymous User: On the first night, my room faced Hanting Hotel, and I experienced a continuous low-frequency noise while sleeping. The next day, they helped me switch to a room facing the train station, and that problem was gone, so I had a good rest. The room was generally clean and tidy, and the breakfast offered a decent selection. The location is convenient for transportation. On the day of check-out, they kindly extended my check-out time by an hour, so the service was good.

GGuest User: This review is based on actual photos. I was on a business trip to Benxi and picked this newly opened hotel, and I definitely made the right choice! The location is easy to find, the hotel building is large, and it smells wonderfully fragrant as soon as you walk in. The hallways are carpeted, and there are plenty of elevators so no waiting. As soon as I opened the room door, the space looked to be about 40-50 square meters. It felt incredibly spacious the moment I walked in, completely avoiding that cramped, cheap hotel feeling. The bathroom deserves special praise. The wet and dry areas are designed very scientifically. The sink is large and bright; usually when I stay in hotels, I feel restricted when washing my face or hands, but here, it's completely different – two people can get ready simultaneously without bumping into each other. They even thoughtfully provided face towels. Plus, it has both a bathtub and a shower, so you can choose to relax in a bath or have a quick rinse, which is incredibly thoughtful. The bathrobes in the wardrobe were very new and plush, feeling quite luxurious to the touch. They even provided a shoe brush and shoehorn for guests, which is quite comprehensive. The smart devices are also impressive; it's a fully smart home with appliances, lights, and curtains that can be controlled by voice or switch. My room had a great location; I could see the Taizi River as soon as I opened the curtains, offering a broad view. The reason I chose this hotel is that it just opened this year. The advantages of a new hotel are so obvious: everything is spotless, there's no unpleasant smell at all, and all the amenities are complete. The shampoo and shower gel are also of good quality. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. I do have one small suggestion: it would be great if the lighting brightness could be adjusted. The reading mode is a bit too bright, and the soft mode is a bit too dim for looking at a phone.

YYuandatou: During my nearly 20-day independent trip through Northeast China, the Bali International Hotel, while not the newest among hotels of its class, left a deep impression on me with its cleanliness, tidiness, and welcoming service. In particular, the hotel's general manager, upon learning that I was an elderly person traveling alone and it was my first time visiting Benxi, patiently listened to my requests and specially arranged a driver and vehicle to take me to attractions such as the Benxi Water Cave, free of charge. This truly allowed me to experience the warmth and hospitality of the people of Northeast China. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to General Manager Wang once again.

AAidujiadexiaomao: I stayed during the Chinese New Year. I was very touched on the evening of the New Year's Eve. When I came back, I found that I sent a plate of dumplings 🥟 so warm ~. The service is warm, the room is clean and tidy, and the location is quiet.

Want to eat like a local? Don't miss out on these top Benxi dishes and foodie spots.
This 2-day Benxi County route keeps the pace relaxed: start with the cool underground river of Benxi Water Cave, spend the afternoon wandering the riverside village feel of Xiaoshi Yizhuang, then give the next day to Guanmenshan National Forest Park, where forest paths, clear water, and layered autumn colors make the mountains feel especially fresh.

As the seasons turn, autumn is in full swing🍂 You have to find a place to chase the autumn, right? That year, the maple leaves in Benxi turned red🍁 Driving from Shenyang, head along the Benhuan Highway. Destinations: Benxi Fengling Valley, Binghugou. 🚗Driving along the way, the mountains outside the window are gradually painted with autumn colors. Once you reach Huanren, it's absolutely stunning. The leaves are colorful, and the entire forest looks like an overturned palette🎨 Layers of red, yellow, and orange. Every snapshot is an autumn wallpaper📸 Stroll through Fengling Valley, stopping here and there. Look at the red maple leaves, look at the rich autumn colors. The water in Binghugou reflects the autumn scenery of the mountains. In the sunlight on a clear day, you'll be left speechless by its beauty😍 No need to deliberately look for photo spots. Just drive slowly along the road and stop whenever you see scenery you like. That's the right way to chase autumn✨ While autumn is in full swing, let's go🚗💨

I've seen many places for maple leaves, but I have a special fondness for autumn in Laobiangou🍁 Other forests are filled with the intensity of red leaves across the mountains, but Laobiangou offers the gentleness of streams carrying fallen leaves. No noisy crowds, no artificial popular setups, just a long, winding valley accompanied by layers of maple forests. As the autumn breeze sweeps through the valley, red leaves rustle and fall into the clear stream. The mountains, water, unique rocks, and colorful forests blend together like a slowly unfolding autumn oil painting—quiet and healing✨ 📍Benxi · Laobiangou Scenic Area 🎫Admission ticket: CNY 70 🚌Sightseeing bus: CNY 20 one way (recommended for the uphill trip, as the whole way back is downhill) Unlike typical mountain-climbing scenic spots, this is a lazy-person-friendly valley route for maple viewing👏 No need to struggle with steep climbs; take the sightseeing bus straight to the mountainside and stroll slowly down along the wooden boardwalk by the river. The entire route is flat or gently sloping, allowing seniors and children to fully immerse themselves in the autumn atmosphere🍂 The entire Yongge Valley is the soul of Laobiangou. Maple trees grow along both banks, painted in layers of red, orange, yellow, and green. Clear stream water flows over mossy, unique rocks, and fallen red leaves float on the surface, swaying gently with the current. Light and shadow filter through the branches and leaves, falling onto the boardwalk and the stream—every turn offers an unexpected autumn view📸 The mirror-like stream at Heyan Bay, the tranquil reflections at Huilong Bay, the deep, forest atmosphere of Longyin Valley, and the panoramic view of the colorful mountains from Fenghuang Peak in the distance—it's a combination of motion and stillness, gentle yet magnificent🍁 There's no need to rush to check off spots here. Just walk slowly, look around, listen to the babbling stream and the rustling leaves. All the restlessness of the city will be smoothed away by the autumn vibes of this valley🍃 Two relaxed travel routes✅ ▫️Healing & Leisure Route (suitable for all ages) Sightseeing bus uphill → Qicaiping → Yongge River Boardwalk → Heyan Bay Reflections → Laobian Waterfall Focuses on slow strolling and sightseeing, immersing yourself in the gentleness of the stream and red maples ▫️Panoramic In-depth Route (top choice for photo enthusiasts) Sightseeing bus to the top of Fenghuang Peak → Panoramic view of the entire maple valley → Glacier Grand Canyon → Longyin Valley Secret Spot → Hike down along the river boardwalk Unlock all the niche photo spots in one go, with non-repetitive scenery throughout the entire journey🙌 Autumn in Benxi is truly underrated. The sight of the stream reflecting the red leaves is something photos can't even capture half of—you have to go!

Definitely take the sightseeing bus! It's a long way from the gate to the core scenic area, and walking is a waste of energy 2. It's 5–6 degrees cooler in the mountains than in the city and windy, so be sure to bring a thick jacket🧥 3. The wooden boardwalk has many fallen leaves and can be slippery, so wear non-slip sneakers👟 4. Try to go early! The morning light is soft, the maple scenery is clear, and there are the fewest people 5. There are few shops in the scenic area, so prepare water and small snacks in advance🍫 6. Fallen maple leaves🍁 make better bookmarks than fridge magnets While others are fighting crowds to see autumn You can enjoy a whole sea of quiet maples in Fenglin Valley Gurgling streams, endless red leaves This is the most healing side of autumn in Liaoning✨

✨Highlights: Located in Huanren Manchu Autonomous County, Benxi, Fenglingu Forest Park is a famous maple viewing spot in eastern Liaoning, with a forest coverage rate of nearly 99% and abundant negative oxygen ions. The maple leaves here turn red early and have rich color layers. Red maples paired with huge granite rocks, mountain boardwalks, streams, and waterfalls make it great for hiking, photography, and getting some fresh air. Compared to Laobiangou and Yanghugou, it is less crowded, making it suitable for a one-day autumn trip from Shenyang or Benxi. 📍Location: Fenglingu Forest Park, Xiangyang Township, Huanren Manchu Autonomous County, Benxi 🎫Admission: CNY 70 at the gate, approx. CNY 65 if booked online in advance 🚌Sightseeing bus: CNY 20/person (round trip, direct to Shibalohan Forest/Wohu Peak). Highly recommended, as the entrance is far from the core maple viewing area, and walking is very tiring ⏰Hours: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, last entry at 4:00 PM ⏳️Duration: 3–5 hours, depending on the route 🅿️Parking: Large parking lot at the entrance, CNY 10/time for small cars 🚗Transportation tips ✅Best for driving: Navigate to "Fenglingu Forest Park," take the Heda Expressway, exit at the Fenglingu toll station, and drive another 6 km to arrive. It takes about 2.5–3 hours from Shenyang and about 2 hours from downtown Benxi. The Benhuan Highway along the way is also a scenic maple viewing route, perfect for a quick stop. ✅Public transport: Take a bus to Huanren County, then transfer to a rural bus or tourist shuttle. Service is infrequent, so this is not recommended. 📜Park overview Fenglingu is a 4A-rated forest park with deep valleys and gentle slopes, though some sections have steep stairs. Its biggest feature is the coexistence of giant rocks and red maples. Huge gray granite rocks stand in the forest, with red maples stretching out from rock crevices and cliffs. Combined with mountain boardwalks, the Jiuqu Stream, and the Jiudie Waterfall, it is incredibly picturesque and a must-visit spot for many photography enthusiasts every year. 🌟Must-see attractions 🍁Red maples and giant rocks (top photo spot) The park's iconic landscape. A huge solitary rock stands in the forest, with red maples leaning against it. The blue sky, giant rock, and flame-like red leaves create a perfect frame for stunning photos. 🪵Mountain boardwalk Wooden steps with green railings wind through the maple forest. Surrounded by red leaves and dappled light, walking on the boardwalk feels like traveling through a red tunnel. It's a relaxing pace for walking and taking photos. 💧Jiuqu Gorge & Jiudie Waterfall The highlight of the valley route. Clear springs cascade down the rocks, with maple trees growing along the stream. The mix of red and yellow colors and the sound of flowing water make for a cool, comfortable, and leisurely walk. 🏔Red Maple Peak observation deck The highest point of the park. Climb up to overlook the "five-flower mountain" across the entire valley. The red leaves spread out in layers, offering a wide, panoramic view. The downside is that there are many stairs, which can be physically demanding. 🌳Shibalohan Forest A concentrated area of tall maple trees. The forest is dense with a high density of red leaves. It is also the main stop for the sightseeing bus. 🗺️Two recommended routes, choose according to your needs 👉Leisurely family route | Approx. 3 hours, friendly for all ages Enter the park at the visitor center → Take the sightseeing bus directly to Shibalohan Forest → Jiuqu Gorge boardwalk → Jiudie Waterfall. Walk gently downhill along the stream with few steep slopes, enjoy the stream and red leaves, take photos, and then take the bus back to the exit. 👉In-depth photography route | 4–5 hours, suitable for those with good stamina who love photography Visitor center → Take the sightseeing bus up to Wohu Peak → Hike the loop trail, check out the giant rock maple scenery → Climb to the Red Maple Peak observation deck for a panoramic view of the maple sea → Hike down the Hongyun boardwalk, accompanied by maple forests all the way, with plenty of photo spots along the route. Tip: Take the bus up and hike down to avoid climbing and save energy.

Go before the deer head up the mountain. It’s freezing in the morning 🥶, but seeing the deer in the morning mist makes it all worth it! 🔻 Changbai Mountain North Slope Loop Road 🔻 A stunning section of G331! Stunning red maples, babbling brooks, cascading waterfalls, boardwalks along the stream, and reflections in the water create a series of gorgeous scenes. This place brings together natural landscapes such as maple leaves, lakes, valleys, and caves—this is the most beautiful Benxi. Visit Guanmen Mountain to see the Maple King and Maple Queen, Longdaogou for waterfalls and pristine red maples, Laobiangou for red maples reflected in the stream, Huli Painter's Village for giant rocks in the lake, and the Water Cave to explore the underground river by boat...

an autumn that belongs to the Northeast🍂 It is the crisp, clear morning after the rain in Laobiangou, Benxi, Liaoning, where the red leaves in the forest are soaked in the morning mist🌫️ It is the sunrise at Wunü Mountain in Huanren, with a sea of clouds surging over the mountains⛰️ It is the Linjiang Valley in Jilin, where a winding road cuts through the colorful valley🛣️ It is the Songhua River Bridge at Huayuankou, Jingyu, a long bridge resting quietly on the Songhua River, known to everyone as the "water highway"🌉 It is also the Sanjiaolongwan in Huinan, a serene, deep blue volcanic lake in the morning light🏞️ At sunset by the snowy cabin, the mountains are so quiet that only the wind can be heard❄️ That feeling of being gently wrapped by autumn, I mean, who gets it!😭 In seven days, rising with the stars and walking through the dew, I captured the mountains, the sea of clouds, the long rivers, and the lake views one by one in my lens📸 Sharing this with you, who happened to come across this note and love the mountains and rivers✨ What does autumn look like through your lens? Have you gone to chase a fairy tale that belongs to autumn this year?🍁
The scenic area was fantastic! I explored two different routes. The shuttle bus service was excellent and very convenient; it's free after you buy your ticket. The tour guides were also very responsible, reminding me of weather changes and recommended tour times. Thumbs up! I would definitely recommend the shuttle bus service to other friends.
Anonymous userBenxi Water Cave is the most beautiful karst cave I've ever seen. The stalactites and stalagmites inside are diverse in style—some majestic, some precipitous, some graceful. Looking at them is truly captivating. However, you can only look; there's not much interaction involved—the entire experience is by boat. The Petrified Wood Geological Park mainly consists of petrified wood fossils, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience of the scenic area.
Anonymous userI went during the National Day holiday, and the maple trees were just starting to turn red; they weren't at their most beautiful yet... The entire scenic area is quite large, and you can only return the same way. Most people chose to walk one way and then take the sightseeing bus.
圈圈妹绿野芳踪The scenic area was fantastic! Because of the season, it wasn't too crowded, making for a very enjoyable visit. The tourist shuttle bus was especially convenient, and the tour guide was very responsible and friendly. Thumbs up to the scenic area, the tourist shuttle bus, and the tour guide!
230***66You can spend a whole day there. It is recommended to bring some food, as the food there is not very tasty. You can bring less water because there are a lot of people buying water. Anyway, it is very fun. I will come again next time. There are many places to take photos and check in, but there are a lot of people
_We***69Surrounded by mountains and water, this "Little Jiangnan of the North" boasts numerous photo-worthy spots, including a misty forest wonderland and a light-and-shadow old street. It combines local delicacies like mutton soup and Manchu farm cuisine with activities such as forest water slides, pet interactions, and bonfire and fireworks shows. Visitors can also experience Hanfu dress-up, interact with NPCs to win prizes, and enjoy a one-stop experience for family trips, friends' getaways, and more.
可爱的旅游生活89The scenery at the scenic area: The air was crisp after the rain, a sea of green, and the maple leaves on the mountain were quietly turning red. Enjoyments: There were many activities, but there were almost no signage. We took a lot of detours. The sightseeing bus charges a one-way fee, and you had to buy a new ticket after getting off. The line for the airship was long and not very interesting. The boat only boarded at pier 1 and disembarked at pier 2. 🚢 From the upper deck, you could stand by the fence to enjoy the scenery; sitting down, your view was blocked and you couldn't see anything. You had to row the bamboo raft yourself, which was a pleasant experience. The smell of the airplane was strange. The high-altitude glass rafting was fun, a bit thrilling, with many twists and turns, and a moderate incline. The flying magic carpet ascended slowly, and the rainbow slide descended quickly, which was very exciting. I didn't see the 9D because I didn't plan my route well. Hike Experience: The slopes were not very steep until the Savage Valley, so it was easy. Then the winding mountain road was very steep. The climb to the top was very refreshing.
M58***94With the added prestige of a World Heritage Site, the ruins of the 2000-year-old Goguryeo capital city are nestled amidst the surrounding landscape of Huanlong Lake. The rammed earth city walls and narrow gorges offer a blend of historical grandeur and natural charm, while the free museum provides an immersive experience. Visitors can also explore the mountain trails, the mountaintop ruins, and the viewing platform, combining sightseeing with a sense of discovery.
可爱的旅游生活89During the May Day holiday, my partner and I took a road trip, spending four hours exploring. Overall, it was a great experience. The trees weren't fully green yet, and the icefalls on the mountain hadn't melted, giving us a glimpse of the spectacular waterfalls in summer. The attractions weren't crowded, the management was excellent, and the service center was busy but organized. The sightseeing bus covered about 2.5 kilometers, followed by a 2-kilometer hike uphill. The hike wasn't tiring, and the leisurely pace was quite pleasant. The downhill walk along the boardwalk, following the babbling brook, was also easy. Overall, it's worth a visit—a less-traveled spot with fewer crowds and beautiful scenery.
