GGuest User: Very quiet considering it's right next to the A14, i didn't hear anything from the traffic. Supported by a Starbucks and a Petrol station. The hotel was great the staff were all very helpful and happy to help with any questions i had. Clean towels, tea, coffee, milk refills means that you could stay there without going anywhere if you wanted to just chill out on your own. With a TV and my crime magazine i was happy to chill in the evening. Would be really happy to book this hotel again in the future.

LLennox.: We stayed here at Rushton Hall, May bank holiday weekend. We decided we needed something different, something special this bank holiday and this place did not disappoint one little bit. Its fair to say that this place has a rare, quiet and magical feel to it. From the moment we drove up the drive and stepped inside, the modern world just seemed to fade away. The manor’s old-world charm isn’t just in the architecture; it’s in the incredible sense of calm that settles over you. We stayed in the zodiac room, and was wowed as soon as we stepped into it, stunning... just WOW! The spa is super indulgent and relaxing just what you need with the amazing setting. The staff are great too, they are really attentive. Breakfast was exceptional was going to give it a miss but glad we didn't, highly recommend having it if your staying so many high end quality options to choose from. We had an absolutely beautiful stay. The house has a wonderful, timeless character that makes you slow down and breathe. If you’re looking for genuine relaxation and a touch of something special, this is it. A total sanctuary we both left there feeling completely restored, and relaxed. We cant wait to return.

GGuest User: Finding myself stranded due to flooding on Christmas Eve I contacted Pear Tree Farm as I was running out of hotel accommodation choices.SO glad I did.Tim and his lovely wife Beverely settled me into The Granary Room of a converted stable block.(All Covid safe).NOTHING was too much trouble for these two wonderful hosts.I felt safe and cosy during my enforced five days of being temporarily homeless. I would recommend anyone to stay here in this peaceful farming environment, horses, sheep and all. Thank you for everything, may you both have a healthy and prosperous New Year.

#cambridgetrips Mill Road in Cambridge is a vibrant and diverse street known for its eclectic mix of independent shops, cafés, and international restaurants. A hub of multiculturalism, it offers everything from vintage stores to specialty food markets, reflecting the city’s rich cultural tapestry. The area has a lively, bohemian atmosphere, making it a favorite among students, locals, and visitors alike. Street art, community events, and the annual Mill Road Winter Fair add to its unique charm. While it can be busy, its energy and character make it a must-visit for those looking to experience Cambridge beyond its historic colleges.

Visited Wicksteed Park today, and despite the rain, it was delightful! It's the perfect spot for young kids - they have everything from sprawling play areas to enchanting rides. The new logo? Absolutely spot on - modern yet captures the park's whimsical spirit and history. Had a lovely coffee there, which was a nice touch while watching the kids play from under shelter. The park's commitment to the community is commendable; they hosted an amazing event for Accommodation Concern, a local homelessness charity, and are doing it again in February. Can't wait! Moreover, for those into Pokémon GO, the park has some top-notch gyms! It’s a bonus for when you're looking for a bit of grown-up (or just mobile phone users) fun while the little ones are playing. Overall, Wicksteed Park is where joy meets community spirit, all wrapped up in one charming package. Highly recommended for your next family outing!

#timetotravel My visit to Wicksteed Park in the UK was a joyful escape into a world of family fun and outdoor delights. Situated in Kettering, this expansive park welcomed me with its charming landscapes, thrilling rides, and recreational activities. As I explored the lush grounds, enjoyed the classic amusement park rides, and relaxed by the lake, a sense of happiness and nostalgia enveloped me. The park's location in the heart of Northamptonshire made it a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike. It wasn't just a park; it was a haven of entertainment and relaxation, inviting me to bond with loved ones, relive childhood memories, and create new ones through picnics, play areas, and a variety of attractions, leaving me with a heart full of laughter and a day well spent.
