Wilson_Yeo_Sibu: Top grade hotel in Ningde. The only one worth staying if you are a business traveller in Ningde and wish to stay in the city centre. The room is 5-star Mandarin Oriental style quality, with only one-third the price. There is a also a heated pool on the 5th floor and a fancy gym. The breakfast is good, to be expected of a 5-star hotel. When I called to get a iron & ironboard, it was promptly delivered to my room by the housekeeping.

WiFi, TV, bed and air conditioning are all in place. There is a main road in front of the door, and it looks like a village in the city behind. The neighborhood is quite prosperous. Going east and south is the newer area, and going west and north is the old area. There are many restaurants and shops, and many buses pass nearby, which is convenient.

Yuanyangxi is a bit further from Shuangxi Town than Baishuiyang. It's a large canyon, and wandering through it, you can truly appreciate the charm of nature. The initial entrance to the scenic area is at the top of the canyon. Be sure to visit the viewing platform; it offers a panoramic view of Yuanyangxi, making the extra few hundred meters worthwhile. Then, follow the mountain path down to the valley floor. Here, you'll find numerous streams and waterfalls, as well as cliffs and uniquely shaped rocks—a continuous stream of beautiful scenery. My last stop was Baizhangji-Shuiliandong (Water Curtain Cave). The waterfall cascades down from the mountaintop, crashing into the pool below, creating a truly enchanting scene.
