GGuest User: Great location with walking distance to streets with famous Hainan Grain (Za Liang) desserts and shops, good services and very clean and comfy rooms. Room comes with books about Qiong Hai, and also tea set if you would like to brew your own Chinese Tea. It has great selection of breakfast buffet. The milk tea is silky and delicious. Shared laundry and you can request for help from staff to help out if they are available. I wished this hotel comes with own laundry so I don't need to wait in line. Highly recommended to families.

TTravel WW: Decided to extend my stay because I liked it so much. A big thank you to the front desk lady who helped my child print their homework. Also, thank you for promptly communicating with management and switching me to a room with a different orientation due to the construction noise, which ensured I could sleep peacefully. My only hope is that the restaurant breakfast staff could be a bit more flexible. I told them I didn't want noodles or vermicelli, just some cooked vegetables and 6 shrimp. They absolutely refused, saying it was against their rules – shrimp could only be added when making noodles or vermicelli, and only 2 shrimp per bowl. In the end, they forced me to take three bowls of noodles, with two shrimp in each, and all those noodles went to waste. In the age of AI, what machines can't replace is human flexibility and a touch of humanity. I hope there's room for improvement!

LLieshanshi: So far on my trip to Hainan, I've stayed in four different hotels, ranging from budget-friendly to luxury five-star. My stay at Atour has been the most satisfying. Atour just opened less than two months ago, so everything is brand new, yet there's no hint of a renovation smell. The room's amenities and facilities are incredibly convenient and user-friendly, and the service attitude is wonderfully comforting and satisfying. It really feels like Atour's management genuinely understands customer needs and strives to provide service that meets, or even exceeds, expectations. If I had to suggest an improvement, I'd recommend upgrading the toilet seats from the current semi-automatic heating and flushing models to fully automatic smart toilet seats that offer washing and cleaning functions. Quality brands like Panasonic offer these for under a thousand yuan. Smart toilet seats are quite common in many Chinese households now and are a significant consideration for many guests when traveling. Replacing them with fully smart models would be a major upgrade and a key factor for many potential guests.

AAnonymous User: This hotel is located right by Municipal Square, close to the city hall and government offices. It's about a 15-minute walk to Zaliang Street. It's a standard 3-star express hotel. I got a complimentary room upgrade to a spacious room. The free breakfast is a 28 CNY standard and includes yogurt. However, the power went out more than three times during the early morning and night. The curtains automatically opened and closed when the power cut out, which was quite alarming! When checking out, the front desk apologized, saying it was due to a municipal power supply issue. But since I could see lights in nearby buildings outside my window during the power outages, I suspect there might be a defect with the hotel's electrical equipment or facilities!

Ccircle920: True to its reputation as a conference hotel, the property is grand and impressive. The room amenities are thoughtfully designed, and the staff training is exceptional. Special mention goes to Julia Xu, our concierge, who contacted me days in advance. She was incredibly attentive and thorough in understanding our needs, and her responses were remarkably prompt – it felt like she always had her phone in hand! Polite and patient, she made the first stop of our Hainan trip a delightful experience. It’s a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff; I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

GGuest User: The ambiance is very French, not just in the rooms but also in the restaurant, making it perfect for sisters to take photos. The gym and pool are also super beautiful. The front desk service is excellent, with a dedicated butler, welcome fruit on the first day, and a complimentary mini-bar on the first day. Since it's a new hotel, everything feels top-notch. It's also very close to the beach; a short walk in the evening breeze will get you to 'The Story of the Sea.' Very convenient!

Want to eat like a local? Don't miss out on these top Qionghai dishes and foodie spots.

Spent two days in Lingshui and finally understood what "uncrowded and beautiful" means 😭 Fishing boats in Chiling, little monkeys in Huling 🐒 Coastal roads so beautiful you won't want to step on the gas... No tickets required for the whole trip, everything is free!! ✅ Compiled my favorite travel route, just follow it~ Stop 1: Chiling An unspoiled little fishing village with almost no tourists. Colorful fishing boats are parked on the beach. At sunset, the light hits the boats like an oil painting. Any live photo you take looks great 📷 Stop 2: Clearwater Bay Red and white lighthouse with fine white sand; it actually squeaks when you step on it!! The sand is so fine lol~ Uncrowded and photogenic. Walk to the side and you'll find a large lawn and Longtou Ridge. Climb the wooden boardwalk to overlook the entire Clearwater Bay coastline. Locals also come here for beachcombing. Stop 3: Huling Black reefs with deep blue water. Drive to the end and you'll find the viewpoint. The water is super clean, like a glass sea, and very few people know about it! There are also many little monkeys 🐒 you can feed. Stop 4: Shuikou Bridge Feels even more beautiful than the ones in Wanning or Sanya. Standing on the bridge overlooking the coastline, the sand spit and Coconut Island are so pretty!! It's also a great place for paddleboarding. Stop 5: Xiangshui Bay Coastal Road Lingshui's version of the most beautiful road, with several consecutive S-curves, rocky coastlines, and coconut groves. Go on a sunny day; the blue sea is absolutely stunning. Stop 6: Tinglan Coast Yellow thatched huts with the sea and coconut groves; it's so comfortable I didn't want to leave. Or head to Lian'an Sea Turtle Town; walk to the end of the pink sightseeing path and you'll reach the beach. Stop 7: Awen Surfing Right by the roadside in Xiangshui Bay. It's very close to Riyuewan but much quieter!! There's a coconut swing, and the sunset glow here is especially beautiful. About food: 🥥 Qiongxi Restaurant: Authentic Hainan cuisine. The coconut-baked Wenchang chicken is amazing! Their sweet soup is also very authentic. 🍲 Taiqiong Zaopo Vinegar Hot Pot: A Hainan specialty sour soup 🍲, celebrity-approved. It's tangy and appetizing. I was amazed the first time I tried it. Zaopo vinegar hot pot with seafood is incredible. Have some Qingbuliang after the meal to cleanse the palate. 🦞 No. 87 Fishing Boat Seafood Stall: A seafood stall recommended by locals! Seafood is caught and cooked fresh. They also have stir-fries with "wok hei." They offer both light and bold flavors, making it suitable for families with kids. 🦆 Hupo Vanilla Duck: Braised with vanilla herbs, the sauce is flavorful, and the meat is firm but not dry! Their stir-fried ice is also amazing. 🥥 Dedia Coconut Chicken: The coconut chicken hot pot I eat every time I come to Lingshui! Using 3 coconuts as the soup base to cook Wenchang chicken is truly amazing, fresh, tender, and sweet! I order the black truffle chicken oil rice and shaved ice every time; they disappear the moment they hit the table~ ✅ You can fly directly to Haikou, Sanya, or Qionghai. Rent a car 🚗 upon arrival and drive along the coastal road; it's beginner-friendly. ✅ It only takes half an hour to get to Lingshui from Wanning or Sanya. ✅ Lingshui is quiet and off the beaten path. It's not crowded even during summer vacation, making it perfect for taking kids beachcombing.

Across the landscape of southern Fujian, clusters of red-brick ancestral houses shine like jewels scattered across the earth. Step into any one of these traditional homes, and you step into a story — a story of family heritage, craftsmanship and the enduring spirit of Minnan culture. Some ancient residences have been carefully preserved, their courtyards neat and orderly, their traditional features still speaking eloquently of another era. Intricate wood carvings, delicate stonework, decorative brick carvings and vivid clay sculptures bring the buildings to life, revealing the artistry and imagination of generations of craftsmen. The Cai Family Ancient Residences in Nan’an, Quanzhou, are a remarkable example. Often described as a grand showcase of Minnan architecture, this historic residential complex offers a glimpse into the region’s architectural richness, where practical living spaces are transformed into works of art. Here, every carved beam, decorated wall and traditional courtyard seems to hold a fragment of the past. The red-brick façades glow warmly in the light, while the exquisite details invite visitors to slow down and look a little closer. These ancient houses are more than beautiful buildings. They are storytellers in brick and timber, preserving the cultural memory of southern Fujian one intricate detail at a time. 📍 Location: Cai Family Ancient Residences, Nan’an, Quanzhou, Fujian, China 🇨🇳 📸 Photography Tip: Capture the contrast between the red-brick walls and ornate carvings. Look for doorways, courtyards and decorative rooflines to create layered compositions that reveal the depth of Minnan architectural design. ✨ Signature Feeling: Discovering how generations of craftsmanship have turned traditional homes into enduring works of art. In Minnan, the walls are made of brick and stone, but the stories they preserve are timeless.

I visited Labahe last Mid-Autumn Festival, and my social media feed blew up with questions when I got back💥. So many friends asked for my itinerary that I've put together a complete 2-day, 1-night guide for this year. If you want to avoid the crowds during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, just follow this plan! 📝 2-day, 1-night itinerary ▫️ Day 1 | Deep dive into the highlights of the West Line After entering the scenic area, take the sightseeing bus directly to the West Line and dedicate your prime time to this core landscape. 🎫 Jiaoshan Cable Car + Jiaoshan Plank Road It is recommended to start early to avoid the crowds. Ride the cable car through the primeval forest; if you're lucky, you might encounter an endless sea of clouds☁️, with mist flowing between the mountains, creating an incredible atmosphere. Hike slowly up the Jiaoshan Plank Road to reach the Heart-shaped Lake at an altitude of 3,800m. Surrounded by mountains, this alpine lake offers vast, expansive views—every photo is a masterpiece. The summit is high, windy, and cold, so be sure to bring a thick, windproof jacket. 🏡 Fairytale forest cabin Head deep into Red Stone Beach, where an eco-friendly log cabin is hidden among the mountains and forests. Surrounded by lush trees, it feels like stepping into a Nordic fairytale, making it perfect for portraits. 🔴 Red Stone Beach Valley Patches of vibrant red rocks cover the valley floor, with clear streams rushing between the stones. This area has a high probability of wildlife sightings. Stand quietly, and you might encounter sambar deer or Tibetan macaques. Remember: do not feed the animals; keep your distance and observe quietly. The West Line combines alpine cloud seas, primeval forests, and red stone streams. No need to rush—take your time to explore and take photos, and immerse yourself in the mountain scenery. Stay at the Blue Crystal Hotel in the scenic area for the night. ▫️ Day 2 | Relaxing and casual East Line Focus on relaxation—no need to wake up early to rush your itinerary. Stroll along the Bishuiwan Plank Road, walk along the stream to get some fresh air, and soak in the greenery of the forest. After a meal, you can wander around Yezhou Island and spend a leisurely morning. Stay near the hotel, and you might see deer—it's truly healing🦌. After exploring, you can head back to Chengdu. 💡 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day travel tips ▪️ Clothing: The temperature difference at the West Line summit is significant, so bring a windproof jacket and wear non-slip hiking shoes ▪️ Tickets: It is recommended to buy admission tickets, sightseeing bus tickets, and cable car tickets online in advance to reduce queuing ▪️ Animals: Please do not feed wild animals; keep your distance and observe quietly 🍁 Labahe autumn foliage preview Scattered yellow and red leaves are already appearing in the forest, and autumn is quietly beginning to arrive✨ By late autumn, the entire valley will slowly lose its green, and the mountains will be covered in layers of red and yellow foliage. Combined with the clear valley, flowing sea of clouds, and deer roaming in the forest, the atmosphere is incredible.

Nanyang sea breezes brush over the vibrant life of Hainan Island 🌊 The flavors here are the nostalgia on the locals' tongues, and an invitation from the mountains and seas for guests from afar. To share these unique flavors with the world, the Sanya Municipal Bureau of Commerce, in collaboration with the Sanya Catering Industry Promotion Association, Sanya Seafood Catering Association, Sanya Tourism Hotel Industry Association, and Sanya Tourism and Catering Association, has launched the "2026 Sanya Top 10 Signature Dishes Creative Innovation Competition." Chefs from various restaurants compete on the same stage, with expert judges—including senior Michelin and Black Pearl bloggers and Chinese culinary masters—tasting and evaluating the dishes on-site. They are selecting 10 classic flavors, using cuisine as a window to let the world taste Sanya and yearn to visit. Chef Chen Jia of Yuyuege Chinese Restaurant at the Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort, with his masterpiece "Qiongdao Fish and Rice Hometown," has been awarded the title of "Sanya Top 10 Signature Dishes" and included in Sanya's official culinary map. "Qiongdao Fish and Rice Hometown" draws inspiration from Hainan's local ingredients, blending the characteristics of Li ethnic farming and South China Sea catches 🐠. With a soup base made from Shanlan rice milk, paired with Lingshui cherry tomatoes and perfume lemons, it achieves a natural fusion of rice, seafood, and fruity aromas. Having seen the vastness of the world, one better understands the preciousness of that single bite of nostalgia. Chef Chen Jia's resume is filled with the study and experience gained from his travels, yet his taste buds have never lost their way home—always pointing back to Hainan Island 🌴. With over a decade of experience, he has mastered the precise balance between tradition and innovation, winning the "Gold Award for Chinese Cuisine Master" at the Hainan Culinary Association's China International Hotel Competition 🎖️. He has poured his strength into his craft, refining a broad culinary spectrum that spans Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Jiangzhe, Shandong, Chaoshan, and Hainan cuisines. Unconstrained by any single school or region, he blends traditional foundations with contemporary aesthetics to create a unique fusion, crafting culinary memories for every diner that are worth the journey 🥢. 🧑🍳 Chef's selection at Yuyuege 🔝 Must-eat list 🌟 Puqian Seafood Zaopo Vinegar 🌟 Braised Tunchang Pork Trotters with Scallions 🌟 Jiaji Duck Feet with Dahongpao 🌟 Crispy Sesame Wenchang Chicken 🌟 Drunken Shrimp with Shanlan Rice Wine 🌟 Fruity Cherry Tomatoes The dining table at Yuyuege 🍽️ is a deep dialogue between the chef and the natural bounty of Hainan. A Feast for the Eyes | Boasting Unobstructed Sanya Bay Sea Views and Nighttime Neon Lights If you're looking for a relaxing vacation in Sanya without the hassle of traveling to Haitang Bay or Yalong Bay, the Four Points by Sheraton Sanya Bay is an excellent choice. I specifically booked a high-floor ocean view room, and the view was breathtaking from the moment I entered. Large floor-to-ceiling windows opened directly onto the balcony, with no buildings obstructing the view. The entire Sanya Bay stretched out before me. During the day, I could sit on the sofa and quietly watch the sea, with cargo ships slowly passing by. The sea breeze drifted into the room through the open windows, allowing me to enjoy a leisurely afternoon without even leaving the room. As evening fell, the four iconic shell-shaped buildings on Phoenix Island lit up with a soft blue light, their reflections shimmering on the water. Lying in bed, I could enjoy the entire city skyline at night – a tranquil sea view amidst the bustling city, creating a truly immersive atmosphere. The hotel's public areas were meticulously maintained, with layers of tropical coconut palms providing a welcome respite from the noise. The outdoor swimming pool on the first floor was cleverly designed. The blue pool bottom is patterned, and lounge chairs and pavilions are set up along the shore. As evening falls, the lights illuminate the pool, making it shimmer. Swimming and relaxing under the coconut trees, with the sea breeze blowing, is incredibly pleasant and relaxing. The lush gardens offer stunning Southeast Asian resort photos; even spending a whole day at the hotel won't feel boring. The hotel's rooftop afternoon tea is a must-try. Sitting in the high-rise observation deck, enjoy exquisite tea and pastries while gazing at the boundless seascape. The azure sea and sky are before you, and the coastline stretches into the distance. Avoiding the midday sun, slowly sipping tea and chatting with the sea breeze, every snapshot is a healing seascape masterpiece. Perfect for a girls' getaway or a romantic date. Dining is no problem at all. The island night market restaurant on the first floor offers high-quality food with a wide variety of dishes. Local Hainan snacks from Qionghai, Hainan black pork knuckle with layered noodles, Qionghai coconut milk dessert, and Qionghai fermented chicken vine are all available, all incredibly fresh. Enjoy local specialties on summer nights while listening to live music – a truly delightful dining experience. The hotel offers convenient access to amenities without even leaving the premises, making it incredibly convenient for lazy vacationers. Regarding the location, the hotel's facilities are truly impeccable. It's just across the street from the Coconut Dream Promenade beach, a short walk from the beach for watching the sunset. It's also very convenient to reach major shopping districts, the First Market, and Jiefang Road in the city. Want to eat seafood or stroll through the night market? It's just a short drive away. It boasts unobstructed sea views while maintaining easy access to the city, perfectly balancing a relaxing retreat with a vibrant atmosphere. The hotel rooms are about to be renovated and upgraded, ensuring even greater comfort. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean and tidy. It's suitable for business trips or short family stays, avoiding the hassle of long journeys to remote bay areas. Open your window to the sea and night views. Downstairs are the pool, restaurants, and afternoon tea options, and the beach and city are just steps away. If your Sanya trip is primarily relaxing, you prefer sea views and night views, and you want convenient access, the Four Points by Sheraton Sanya Bay Resort is definitely a high-quality, reliable choice for city accommodation.
The park is very well-built and clean. It offers a rich variety of attractions and fruit trees, including many tropical fruit trees I've never seen before in China. Visiting during the right season to see the trees bearing fruit is truly breathtaking. It's suitable for families with children, as it features not only plants but also animals and play equipment for kids. Prices within the park are reasonable. Definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended.
1一颗橘子I went there because of its reputation. You can see the exterior and go inside for a tour, but it's just a meeting room, so the tour was quick. Inside the meeting room, staff members take photos at designated spots, and you can also take your own photos. They were very friendly! Thumbs up! The surrounding area has the Wanquan River and a golf course; it's beautiful to walk around in!
_We***10The environment is great, the air is fresh, and the scenery is beautiful. You can easily take the cable car up and down the mountain and enjoy the scenery. The glass slide is suitable for all ages. If you're not planning on any adventure activities, two or three hours is enough to have fun.
186***55China (Hainan) South China Sea Museum Located beside the fishing port of Tanmen Town, Qionghai City, Hainan Province (9 kilometers from Bo'ao), it officially opened on April 26, 2018. It is a national first-class museum and a 4A-level scenic spot. Spanning 150 acres with a building area of 70,593 square meters, its exterior design evokes the theme "Chasing the Waves of the Silk Road, Ships of the South China Sea." It is divided into north and south sections: the south section houses the main exhibition, while the north section houses temporary exhibitions and a multi-functional area. The museum houses over 90,000 artifacts, including relics from the Huaguang Reef No. 1 shipwreck, export porcelain, and marine life specimens. The permanent exhibitions cover eight themes, including South China Sea history and culture, natural ecology, underwater archaeology, and fishing culture. Admission is free (reservations required). Regular opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (closed on Mondays, with extended hours on public holidays). The museum also offers cultural and creative products, interactive children's activities, and guided tours. The museum is quite large with many exhibition halls, and there are several must-see exhibits, such as the Huaguang Reef No. 1 shipwreck, the "Genglu Bu" (a navigation guide), a 1:1 scale replica of an ancient ship, and whale specimens. There are drinking fountains inside, and the air conditioning is quite strong, so you may want to bring a light jacket. It's definitely worth a visit for a deeper understanding of the South China Sea and shipwrecks.
一直在路上的猫In the town of Guantang, Qionghai, the hot springs are nice, the scenery is beautiful, and there is a shuttle bus to Qionghai High-speed Railway Station. The breakfast is OK, and the service is good. It is very close to the Baishiling Scenic Area, a 4A-level scenic spot, and you can climb the mountain by the way.

蓝星旅行家Beautiful sunrise skydiving, another item on my life wish list has been completed! We were originally scheduled to jump on the 15th, but it rained a little in the afternoon, so we changed it to the next day. The base lady told us on the evening of the 15th that we could jump at sunrise on the 16th, and we could pick us up at the hotel in the early morning. I really wanted to know if there was such a good thing! The coaching team was very interesting, they would create an atmosphere on the plane, and they could also communicate with the third-party photographers about the content of the photos (the original video was included in the third-party package, and the editing and photos needed to be purchased separately). I am very grateful to my coach Liu Yang and photographer Mike. The first skydiving experience in my life was super great. I saw the sunrise and got a set of life photos.

沛沛的萌姐Wanquan River, Qionghai. The third longest river in Hainan (formerly known as Duohe River), originating from Wuzhishan/Limushan, its northern and southern sources converge at Hekouzui in Qionghai. It is 163 kilometers long, with 82 kilometers within Qionghai, and finally empties into the South China Sea at the Bo'ao Sanjiang Estuary. Its drainage area is 3693 square kilometers, and the river is known for its clear waters and excellent ecology. The upper reaches feature rapids and canyons, ideal for rafting; the middle reaches are wide, with sandbars and the Wanquan River Square/Park; the lower reaches at the Bo'ao estuary offer views of the confluence of river and sea and the spectacular Jade Belt Beach; it also contains cultural relics related to the Red Detachment of Women, making it Qionghai's "Mother River." Famous for songs like "The Wanquan River is Clear and Pure," it combines tropical natural scenery, revolutionary history, and the charm of a hometown of overseas Chinese, making it one of Qionghai's core tourist landmarks. You can walk to the riverbank from Xinmin Street through Xizai Ancient Street, or take a boat tour.
