Shitai Travel Guide
Shitai County is located in the southern part of Anhui Province, west of the mountainous region of southern Anhui. It borders Huangshan District in the east, Qixian County and Qimen County in the south, Dongzhi County to the west, and Guichi District and Qingyang County to the north. Shitai County has a rich ecological environment, and is famed as a tea-producing area in the mountainous region of southern Anhui. It has beautiful natural scenery, excellent ecology, and rich tourism resources, making it an important part of the “two mountains and one lake” tourism and economic circle of Anhui Province. Well-known scenic spots include an ancient and primitive natural nirvana - the Shitai Guniu Falls, the fairytale-like Xianyu Mountain, and the stunning Penglai Fairy Cave, all places that will captivate visitors for hours on end.
