We stayed at this place in Chungking Mansions for 5 nights. We booked a room for two with separate beds and windows on two sides, which was a big plus — having windows made it possible to ventilate the room, which is not always common in this building.
The room and the guesthouse overall were clean, which we really appreciated. The location is also very convenient, close to the waterfront in Kowloon and within walking distance of everything you might need.
There are a few downsides to consider. The bathroom is extremely small and not very ergonomic — the toilet is positioned in such a way that when you sit on it, your legs extend outside the bathroom, making it impossible to close the door. It’s hard to imagine how three people could comfortably stay in this room.
The water heater in the shower worked fine, but the hot water supply is limited. Wi-Fi is available, though not very stable. There are hot and cold water dispensers in the hallway, which is convenient. The room also has air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a TV.
A nice detail is the storage space under the beds — it’s quite spacious and practical for luggage.
Overall, the price is quite low, and if you’re traveling on a budget, this can be a good value for money, especially considering the location.

Location: Right next to the Broadway Cinematheque, and within walking distance of West Kowloon Station. Perfect for catching a movie.
Environment: For a single room costing around 300 for a night, I didn't have high expectations. However, there was a damp smell in the room, and behind the curtain on the windowsill, there was a bottle of drink left by a previous guest that I didn't touch. If the cleaning staff isn't careful, future guests might also find this bottle of lemon tea.
Facilities: The hot water seemed to be provided by a small water heater. Unless it's summer and absolutely necessary to shower, I really didn't want to use this bathroom. The hostel provides disposable towels and a hairdryer, but you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, slippers, and other toiletries.
Overall, accommodation in Hong Kong isn't great value for money. But if you're only staying for a night or two and the location works for you, I'd still recommend it.

I had a great stay, the staff were friendly and the environment was pleasant. The other guests were also very considerate. Plus, there are lots of local snacks nearby and shopping is incredibly convenient. I didn't take any pictures, but I genuinely wanted to express my thanks! From a mainland traveler.

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained. They've thought of everything, from basic necessities to thoughtful conveniences, making for a perfect experience.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness is outstanding. Every corner is spotless, and all amenities are thoroughly disinfected, which gave me great peace of mind.
Environment: The overall environment is quiet and comfortable with a great ambiance. It's perfect whether you want to relax or focus on work – a truly pleasant place to be.
Service: The staff are warm, attentive, and quick to respond. They are also incredibly patient and promptly addressed all my needs. My impression of them couldn't be higher.

This hostel's location is absolutely unbeatable! It's just a few minutes' walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Exit A, at 48 Haiphong Road. For anyone hitting the streets of Hong Kong, the convenience of getting around is a perfect 10.
Even though I stayed in a dorm room, it was much better than I expected. The room wasn't damp and felt very cozy. I was on the 3rd floor in the male dorm, and I didn't find the street outside noisy at all at night. Everyone gets a locker with a key, which made me feel totally secure. Both the room and common areas were kept very clean; the cleaning lady was incredibly diligent.
But what I have to praise the most is the landlady! She is genuinely super nice, incredibly kind, and gentle. My flight on the day of check-out was in the evening, and I still had plans for the afternoon. I asked if I could store my luggage, just to try my luck, and she immediately said yes, completely free of charge and without a deposit (this really touched me!). It allowed me to continue sightseeing without the burden of my bags.
As for amenities, they are very traveler-friendly: free WiFi (stable signal), Mainland China sockets and universal adapters are provided, along with basic toiletries like toothbrushes and slippers. The common area has a fridge and microwave, making it convenient to store and prepare any food you buy.
Overall, for this price in Hong Kong, to enjoy such a prime location, clean environment, and thoughtful service, the value for money is truly exceptional! It's especially suitable for backpackers looking to save on accommodation while still wanting a secure and conveniently located place. A big thank you to the landlady for her care; I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Hong Kong!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and overall, it was an excellent experience that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and professional service provided by the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the front desk personnel were very welcoming, attentive, and helpful in answering all my questions.
The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, with soft linens and quality pillows that made it easy to relax after a long day. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, including complimentary toiletries, a well-stocked minibar, and reliable high-speed Wi-Fi. The room design was modern and elegant, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay.
One of the highlights of my experience was the hotel’s cleanliness and attention to detail. Housekeeping did an excellent job maintaining the room daily, ensuring everything was tidy and fresh. The common areas such as the lobby, hallways, and dining spaces were equally well-kept, which reflected the hotel’s commitment to high standards.
The hotel’s facilities were also impressive. The restaurant served a wide variety of delicious dishes, and the breakfast selection was especially satisfying, offering both local and international options. The amenities, including the fitness center and other recreational facilities, were well-equipped and convenient for guests who want to relax or stay active.
In terms of location, the hotel is very convenient and accessible. It is situated near key attractions, restaurants, and transportation options, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. Despite being centrally located, the environment remained peaceful and comfortable.
What truly made my stay memorable was the exceptional customer service. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure guests felt comfortable and valued. Their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to assist made a significant difference in my overall experience.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service. It offers great value for money and provides a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel at home. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to my next visit.

Receptionists can speak and understand English perfectly and I had no stress during my stay. They kept my baggage after I checked out until midnight, so I enjoyed sightseeing without heavy bag.
No shampoo/ conditioner/ soap, but they have free coffee and tea service. I think it is good enough.
The building location is not so bad, good access to Victoria Peak and the airport by taking a bus without transit.

Though small, this place has everything a big hotel offers. Victoria Harbour is just a 5-minute walk away. At 400 yuan for two nights, it's great value for money. There's also an underground mall next to the building, which is very convenient for meals. For a short visit, especially if you're getting an Octopus card, I'd recommend staying here. You get what you pay for, so don't expect too much for such a low price.

We booked two rooms, A and B, for two nights. Room A was excellent and recently renovated, but Room B looked like it had seen better days. On the first night, murky water came out of the sink. It's best to unplug the water heater before using it. Two nights here was definitely enough; we wouldn't want to stay longer. But it's certainly a unique place.

We had a great stay at Venetian Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui! The location is honestly one of the best things about it — it’s right in the center of everything in TST. There are so many food places just outside the building, so finding something to eat was never a problem.
The MTR is also very convenient, only about a 2-minute walk from TST Station Exit D2, which made commuting around Hong Kong super easy. If you’re coming from the airport by bus, you can simply stop at bus stop #14 (Mirador Mansion), which is very close to the hostel.
Another thing we appreciated was the housekeeping. They collect the trash every day, so when we came back our bins were already clean. They also changed our bedsheets and towels even though we didn’t request it, which was a really nice touch.
Just a small tip: they sometimes offer room upgrades when you arrive, but you can always say NO if you want to stick with your budget.
We stayed on the 13th floor, and that floor has a free water refilling station (which the other floors don’t have), so that was a big plus for us.
The only downside is that the elevator in the building can be very slow, especially during busy hours. But overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Great option if you’re looking for a budget place in TST!

GGuest UserThe worker was genuinely kind and incredibly helpful. The facilities, however, were subpar. There was only one proper accessible shower, and the other required walking through a toilet area - meaning anyone using the toilet could access the shower. Space was extremely tight overall, so it’s not ideal for anyone who values comfortable room to shower or do anything that requires a bathroom. Very very tight space in the bathroom area, however they provided free toothbrushes and earplugs. The lobby and rooms were well set up with head towels and clean blankets in the bedroom, and the Japanese-style lobby was a pleasant touch. The lockers were secure with keypad access. I do recommend this if you intend to stay for one night as there’s a convenience store below, easy access to the MRT, very close proximity to the water front, and a Starbucks within 5 minutes walk.

GGuest UserIt's okay, but it's a bit awkward when you come home late at night and the guard is sleeping by the roadside. There's no 24-hour front desk, but there is a guard sleeping by the side. If you're not too picky, it's fine. The room is small, just enough. The location is great, right outside the MTR station and bus station in the TST area. Free water and they even provide an adapter and a dipper.
GGuest UserThe property is in an excellent location, the room is quiet, and the staff are very helpful. The shower isn’t very convenient, but it’s acceptable for Hong Kong. The beds are very comfortable. The cleanliness was acceptable, though not perfect.

GGuest UserFantastic location! Super convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. It's just a ten-minute walk to Victoria Harbour, and the MTR station is right outside. K11 is directly across the street, and there are tons of great restaurants nearby. They even provided disposable bed linens.
GGuest UserOn my second night, I returned to the hotel to find my luggage had been removed from my room. I called the front desk to report the issue. Although the front desk agent apologized, she got annoyed and hung up on me when I expressed my dissatisfaction. The cleaning lady later came to explain the misunderstanding and apologize.
DDamarisThe photos online were misleading. Check-in was on the 3rd floor, not the 8th as stated. Luckily, I had an HK SIM to contact the property. Staff were friendly, but the room was extremely small with a strong chemical smell due to recent spraying without ventilation.
There was no shower gel or shampoo provided, and one of the restroom doors was missing.
The location is great, but overall, it's not a pleasant experience.
