Greenbank Hotel

Beautiful hotel in stunning waterside position. Luxury feel room with perfectly added touches such as Nespresso machine, gorgeous quality local Cornish teas, luxury hot chocolates & homemade biscuits everyday. Quiet in room fridge stocked with bottled water & fresh milk. Bathroom complementaries were of local, luxury handmade quality. Staff super attentive & all areas beautifully presented. We travelled with a dachshund & she was made very welcome, the main restaurant does not allow dogs however you can eat with pup on the terrace (beautiful views) plus there is an indoor wing available & also food is served in their the Working Boat waterside bar which was perfect, informal & with lovely surroundings. Their own beach at low tide & access to river swimming was a nice touch & early morning by car you can be on the local beaches for sunrise within 7 minutes. Would recommend & stay again.

We stayed for an overnight break and enjoyed the incredible spa, nourish restaurant which served delicious and healthy food. Fantastic cocktails from the bar as well, and particularly loved the homely and stylish decor throughout the hotel. Staff throughout were friendly and helpful at all times and hope to come back soon, thanks to everyone who made our stay so relaxed and enjoyable
Penmere Manor Hotel

I really wanted to give a 4.5 here rather than a 4, the hotel is set in some lovely grounds with great views, there were 3 of us on tour with our bikes they were allowed to park very close to the hotel which was great. All the staff were fab that were front of house were friendly helpful and chatty, the unsung heroes of penmere are the kitchen staff the evening meal was fantastic and at breakfast although it's cooked to order some good quality produce was used, whatever you like for breakfast the choice is there in abundance. The only reason for not giving a 5star was the room, like others have said its tired and dated my room had a toilet with cheap plastic seat and had slightly sunk so it was at weird angle at the rear, the carpet had frayed under the window and the curtains didn't shut fully, they could also do with some security window locks on the ground floor didn't fancy sleeping with windows that could be fully opened from the outside which is probably bot good for some in the summer. Other than that it was a really good night's stay and can recommend and would stay here again.
The Royal Duchy Hotel

Fifth visit to the duchy, this time with friends, as always warm welcome from James on door, check in smooth and quick, room immaculate and spotless clean, breakfast very good, table service for drinks in lounge a little hit and miss, all in all a very enjoyable stay, roll on 2025.

A wonderful stay from start to finish. Haven't stayeden my husband had nosebleed at anywhere better. Clean, tidy very tasteful decor but has a warmth like a big hug as soon as you walk through the magnificent front door. Room was perfect and the view superb. Parking was a bonus. Breakfast was the best we have ever had, freshly cooked to perfection. The ”Boys” as my husband and I called them have a lovely warmth about them and a wonderful sense of humour, that made the stay even better. We're very solicitous when my husband had nosebleed at breakfast one morning, thank you both. Will definitely be staying again next year.
The Falmouth Hotel

We stayed for a night as a couple, as we were attending a concert at The Princess Pavilion. The hotel was perfectly placed, just 5 minutes walk away. Everything about the hotel was spot on. We had a sea view room was good which also had views of Pendennis Castle. All the staff were polite & helpful, in particular Orin, Dan & Ellie in the restaurant. The food was very nice & good value. This was our first stay at the Falmouth, but we would thoroughly recommend it, & we will return again soon hopefully
