The apartment's biggest advantage is its excellent location. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, and shopping options within walking distance, making it very convenient for families and larger groups. The host was responsive and replied promptly when we raised issues during our stay.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance of the property fell well below our expectations. We encountered ants throughout the apartment—including the living room, sofa, dining area, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms—which made it difficult to enjoy our stay. Although the host provided insect spray after we reported the issue, the infestation was so widespread that spraying the entire apartment was neither practical nor a comfortable solution.
Several areas were dusty, the curtains had a noticeable layer of dust, and the bedsheets and toilet rolls appeared old. We were also charged RM60 for an extra bedsheet for two nights, but the condition of the bedding did not justify the additional fee. The sofa showed signs of wear, and one of the ceiling fans was noisy during operation.
For larger groups, please note that when someone showers upstairs, the downstairs bathroom cannot be used properly due to water pressure issues. We were informed that this affects every unit in the building, suggesting it is a known issue rather than an isolated incident.
The facilities were also disappointing. The jacuzzi was unavailable during our stay and appeared to be non-functional, making it more decorative than usable.
The host initially agreed to compensate us for the cleaning fee due to the cleanliness issues, but we did not receive any further update after that.
Overall, the apartment has great potential because of its strategic location, but significant improvements in cleanliness, pest control, maintenance, and facility upkeep are needed before I could recommend it to others.

Jacuzzi was not usable, just a decoration.
Compensation for the cleaning issue was promised but never followed up.

NNu ZorollahIt was like stepping into haven! The modern colonial decor won me the most. The unit is spacious with rooms made neatly. The toilet and bathroom though quite small, they’re clean. The kitchen unit is complete with utensils, pans, microwave and induction hob for when you choose to prepare simple dishes for your family. Easy navigation to the parking lot. We stayed there for 2 nights and got the chance to hang out at the pool and the beautiful garden. We’ve been to many hotels in Ipoh but this by far was the best in our record. Kudos!

I didn’t park at multi storey car park, end up just to pay extra parking at visitor parking and no need to round up to multi storey car park.
Only aircond at living hall need to improve the cold, seem not cold even on for few hours. The rest are good. Sofa got some dirt with the dust and some biscuits. Not well clean.
Definitely will recommend to friends.

GGuest UserThe stay was good except that the location is next to the highway and we could not sleep well due to the loud traffic noise. Suggest to install noise cancellation windows for all the room. Else the stay will not be pleasant and will affect your business.

DDebasis NayakThe location of the property is excellent, and the building is well maintained. The unit is equipped with most essential amenities, including a refrigerator, washing machine, water heater, iron, and basic kitchen utensils.
However, several advertised facilities were not functional during our stay, including the kitchen stove, chimney hood, living room ceiling fan, and TV.
The check-in process could be clearer. I had to contact the property a day in advance to obtain the check-in instructions and pay a RM200 security deposit. The deposit was refunded a few hours after checkout without any issues.
The biggest downside of this property is the ongoing construction directly in front of the building. There was constant noise from drilling and blasting, and the area was very dusty. Construction work even continued into the night, making it difficult to relax and causing me a headache. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay, it’s worth checking whether the construction has been completed before booking.

GGuest UserThe hotel was easy to find and had ample parking, which made arrival really convenient. Check in was smooth with a proper check in counter available and having Bila Bila Mart nearby was a nice bonus for grabbing anything we needed. There’s also a swimming pool and gym, the pool was a little crowded during our stay but the gym had plenty of space and was well equipped with the basic equipment you’d need for a workout. One thing I particularly liked about the room was that the shower and toilet areas were separated which made the bathroom feel much more practical and comfortable to use

SShimchimHad a pleasant stay at Hotel Kinta during my recent trip. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and located in a very convenient area—easy access to shops and food spots nearby. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
The highlight of the trip was definitely the buka puasa experience. The atmosphere felt like the classic P. Ramlee & Saloma era—very lively and nostalgic. There was a live band and DJ that made the night even more happening, and the hotel staff really entertained the guests which made the whole experience feel warm and memorable.
Special shoutout to Prem, Adji, Feri & Zack for the great hospitality and fun vibes throughout the night. They truly made the buka puasa experience more meriah and enjoyable. 🌙✨
Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay. Definitely recommended for anyone visiting and looking for a place with good vibes during Ramadan.

GGuest UserFrom collecting keys till checkout, everything went smoothly. The room is clean and nice. And the price is worth it with the pool view. Very efficient and responsive. Definitely will choose this place again. The security guard also do well their job to look after the kids at the splash pool to make sure kid play safely. 👍 👍

GGuest UserGreat place. It was self check-in and check-out. Had to call the owners before arriving there via Whatsapp. So there is no front desk. The place was good and spacious. The rooms were clean and well housekept. It is at a bit inside but no issues for us as we were driving. There are eating places and Shopping marts nearby (walking distance). Recommended.
