My stay at the MGallery Dongfengyun Hotel in Mile was a delightful surprise overall. First, the most striking impression: the environment is truly exceptional. The design is unique, beautifully integrating local artistic flair. Both the public areas and the rooms feel incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The service was also spot on; the staff were warm and responsive, always quick to help with any requests. The hotel's proximity to the Dongfengyun scenic area is a huge plus. They even offer free shuttle buggy service, making trips to and from the attraction convenient and hassle-free. However, a minor drawback is its somewhat secluded location. There aren't many decent restaurants nearby, so finding food outside the hotel can be a bit inconvenient. Fortunately, the hotel's own dining options are quite good, with a satisfying variety and taste, so eating on-site was a good experience. One more thing to mention is the hotel's complimentary photography service. They offer 5 free photos, but if you want more, you have to pay extra, and the prices are quite high. It didn't feel like great value for money, and I honestly think it would be better and more cost-effective to hire a freelance photographer beforehand. This was a bit disappointing. Overall, considering the fantastic environment, excellent service, and convenient location near the scenic area, it's highly recommended, especially for those looking for a quiet getaway and planning to focus their visit on the Dongfengyun area.

The hotel is right at the entrance of the old town, which is super convenient! No need to drag your luggage over bumpy cobblestone streets. The hotel itself is charming and historic, giving you a feeling of stepping back in time. The owner is also very nice; even though breakfast wasn't included, they still gave me a voucher to eat at the restaurant across the street! If you want to visit Da Bing's Hut, staying here is a great choice as it's very close by!

This is an excellent spot for people who are visiting Lijiang. It is within Lijiang Old Town which has so much to do. There are tons of places to stay, but this place is right outside the north gate, about 200M. Very accessible and drivers/tour groups to Tiger Leaping Gorge/Jade Dragon Mountain can easily pick you up from here. It is within Lijiang Old Town so cars cannot come in. Don’t make the mistake of not messaging ahead of time that you need a cart to take your luggage like I did. They will come pick you up free of charge. Add them on WeChat and they will respond quickly to any requests. The place has 2 entrances, one is a coffee shop. They have tea and snacks, plus a lovely garden for guests. There is plenty of space to put your bags and comes with a humidifier for the drier air. I highly recommend this to travellers who are coming from afar. The breakfast was great as well.

My husband and I chose to visit Kunming for Chinese New Year in 2026. We usually prefer newly opened hotels in the city center, and the Four Points by Sheraton perfectly fit our 'preference.' (We stayed for five days and four nights, from the first to the fifth day of the ***** New Year.) The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable; you can see the bustling city below right from your bed. It's very close to the old town and the 'Golden Horse and Jade Rooster' archways, and there's a shopping mall and various snack stalls right downstairs. The staff at the hotel lobby and the service staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even had some 'Chinese New Year mini-games.' The breakfast was also very diverse and delicious. Our stay was fantastic, and we'll definitely choose to stay at Four Points by Sheraton again on our next trip to Kunming.

Reasons for recommendation: Firstly, the boss is great. Despite his cool exterior, the young man has a warm heart. He offered a welcoming tea, actively helped with luggage, and saw guests off. He also proactively helped book various tickets at fair prices with guaranteed quality, and provided all sorts of assistance to meet guests' needs. Secondly, the guesthouse location is excellent. Situated on Lion Hill, it offers a super wide view. The path from Sifang Street back to the guesthouse is my favorite in the entire ancient city. The winding uphill trail becomes less crowded the further you go, leading to a very tranquil part of the ancient city. There are no bars nearby, so you don't have to worry about noise. Plus, it's very convenient to get back to the guesthouse from outside the ancient city; cars can drive all the way up the hill, and it's just a few tens of meters walk to the guesthouse. Thirdly, the guesthouse environment is lovely. The guesthouse's signage, much like the boss, is understated, so much so that you might often accidentally walk past it. Beyond the outer corridor, the small courtyard is a hidden gem with flowers, plants, fish, and even a white magnolia tree. On the first day, there was an available room, so the boss upgraded our room type for free. From the room, you can enjoy the ancient city's night view and watch the sunrise over the ancient city in the morning. However, most houses in the ancient city are wooden structures, so soundproofing is a bit lacking. Those sensitive to noise should consider this carefully. But everyone staying there was quite considerate, and I wasn't bothered by noise at all during my stay. I'm writing these genuine stay experiences hoping they can help those of you on your phone screen who are still undecided. Finally, the key takeaway: the boss is handsome and kind-hearted. Next time I come to Lijiang, I will still choose Yueshang. I hope it stays around forever and its business thrives.

Booked two identical rooms, arranged on the third floor, 1820 is slightly larger than 1819, 1820 faces the street, and the faint song of the bar will be heard at night, but there will be no more after 11 o'clock. My stay at the Hyatt Regency Lijiang left a deep impression on me! The hotel is located near Shuhe Ancient Town, allowing guests to experience the unique charm of Naxi culture while enjoying modern luxury and comfort. The lobby design seamlessly blends traditional Dongba elements with contemporary art, immersing you in a rich ethnic atmosphere the moment you step inside. The rooms are spacious and elegant, with wooden furniture and ethnic embroidery complementing each other perfectly, offering superb views. The service was consistently warm; the front desk attendant, Christina, even gave us a small gift upon checkout. The hotel's Chinese restaurant serves authentic Yunnan cuisine, and the breakfast buffet is extensive, featuring various Lijiang local specialties. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend it to travelers seeking quality!

The hotel is a top-level landmark building in Yuxi City. Downstairs from the city center is Nie Er Park and Museum, and it is within walking distance to Xiaomiao Street. The lady at the front desk upgraded the room, facing Nie'er Park and the back mountain, which are two different experiences. The room is very clean overall, the bedding is comfortable, and it comes with 4 bottles of mineral water and fruits. The breakfast is rich, and the eel rice noodles and bridge rice noodles given during the National Day are also delicious. Overall, it is the first choice for accommodation in Yuxi.

My stay at Cuihu Hotel in Kunming was absolutely wonderful, and I wanted to give it a glowing review even after checking out. The moment I stepped into the hotel, I was struck by its inviting ambiance. It was Chinese New Year, and the lobby was decorated so warmly and festively, instantly putting me at ease. The carpets in the hallways outside the rooms were incredibly thick and soft, making every step silent and comfortable. The room itself was beautifully designed with a real sense of quality and layered decor. The soft furnishings were exceptionally pleasing, and the bedding was soft and conducive to a great night's sleep. What truly touched me was the sense of calm and warmth I felt here, especially after experiencing an earthquake in Xishuangbanna the night before, which had left me feeling quite down. Both the environment and the service provided such comfort. All the staff were very friendly, and the overall atmosphere was gentle and healing. I genuinely felt soothed and cared for. It was a truly therapeutic stay, highly recommended!

It's clean and hygienic, the front desk staff are enthusiastic, and it's very convenient for getting around. It's also close to the subway station and has free parking. You can store your luggage for free, the facilities are complete, and the room is very clean.
