Both of us are extremely satisfied staying Im this hotel. The resapan for giving the hotel 10/10 are: - Efficient customer service, the senior lady as well as the younger staff at the counter are very alert and responsive. I would say the young senior staff with short hair is a gem to the hotel management team. She's kind, caring and hospitable. - The Hotel is strategically located near to the Kunming Railway Station as well as to FuDe Subway station. Moving around in Kunming city is so convenient. - Just next to the hotel is the Shuangqiao Night Market. It's the largest night market in Kunming. We enjoyed the variety of food served in the market. - Although the night market operates till 3am, the rooms remain quiet and peaceful to sleep in because the Hotel has double layered glass windows to block out the noise from outside . - The breakfast I served is also delicious : local noodles and wantons served in three types of soup - plain chicken broth, sour and spicy or Mala taste. I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends and family members who are going to visit Kunming. Thank you very much for the lovely stay at Exclusive Hotel, Kunming.

This place is highly recommend. It has a good vibes. t's really a lovely place with spacious room, cleanliness is top notch. The decorations at the room also really nice also got a very beautiful courtyard. The owner (Cassie) is a wonderful beautiful women yet so friendly. She help us so much by suggested a good halal restaurant nearby. The staff also very friendly & gave us so much tips about our vacation. This hotel is also located in a very strategic place. It is within the Old Town Lijiang area & it is also not far from the main road. Very easy access.Owner provides pick up & drop off service from the train station. We had no problems with transportation to this hotel. We were also greeted with a welcome drink.We were served with pu'er tea & evening snacks. Breakfast is also included in the hotel price. We were given a vegetarian breakfast. The breakfast was very tasty. This hotel also provides packages to visit interesting places around Lijiang at a price which is very affordable. Overall I really like this hotel and we will come back here again with our family❤️

Pros: I like the breakfast spread, it was huge and diversified from salads to cold dishes, Yunnan noodles to close to 10 different cooked dishes. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The room was somehow self heated, felt warm during winter. Internal room temperature was around 27deg. The hotel is very well located amongst the food street with many halal food around the area. There was a yummy beef pastry store right at the entrance with snaking queues. Cons: Had to open the windows for ventilation; due to central airconditioning, could only make it warm but not cold. Too eager too soon? There were a scenario where the hotel staff tried to enter the room within 5secs after knocking the door, whilst another when the staff actually entered my room when I was in the room, after knocking the door for few secs, to deliver food platter.

Beautiful views - the rooms are simple but great for a trip to the rice terraces. We had a problem with the restaurant food on the first night but the problem was promptly resolved by the manager which was much appreciated. The goat hotpot did not come with slice d meat for cooking as expected. Instead all meat was already in the pot (quantity not enough for 2 people as mainly fat and bones which I did not enjoy eating). However the manager offered to remedy this problem by presenting a plate of sliced meat. This show good attitude in resolving problems. Highly recommended.The following evening he made good recommendations for dinner and we enjoyed the food very much.

I absolutely loved the hotel's ambiance; the decor was very charming and tasteful. Although the room didn't feature smart devices, all the essentials were present. The entire room was carpeted, providing excellent soundproofing, which ensured a quiet night's sleep. My mother tends to get up at night, and the small night light in the room made her feel very secure. The hotel's service was also outstanding. We encountered a minor issue upon arrival, but the staff were highly resourceful and offered several effective solutions. What's even better is the hotel's superb location, directly opposite Cuihu Hotel and with Huanggongdong Street right behind it – it's absolutely perfect for city walks. We stayed for three days, and each evening we were provided with bedtime drinks and small snacks. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

A hidden gem of a hotel by Dianchi Lake! The rooms are spacious and spotless, the bedding is comfortable, and the breakfast is astonishingly rich – the cured ham pastries are a must-try. The service is attentive and thoughtful, with efficient concierge and warm housekeeping. It's within walking distance to Dianchi Lake, and the garden-style setting is tranquil and delightful. A five-star experience, truly living up to its reputation! A heavenly hotel by Dianchi Lake! The location is absolutely perfect, with stunning lake views right outside the window, and lush garden greenery. The room facilities are complete, clean, and odor-free, and the service is warm and professional. The dining experience is fantastic, making it ideal for both leisure and business travel. My top choice for a stay in Kunming!

This is a very nice hotel, great location, good rooms and excellent, helpful staff. But the hotel gets bad marks in two areas. First, the food was generally very good but the Western breakfast buffet choices were nearly always cold. I tried three days in a row to get poached eggs that were not hard boiled. On the third day I got what I wanted but even then the eggs were stone cold. The second issue was the the lack of necessary security staff. The lobby bar was nice and had a young woman playing guitar in the evenings but on our second evening 4 drunks were drinking, shouting and smoking and refused to stop when the hotel staff intervened. After this things escalated and instead of having hotel security throw them out the drunks started harassing us and it got ugly so we left for our room. The hotel called our room to apologize but it was not equipped to deal with this situation and needs to have better control over their public areas. A lesson to be learned. I will be sending a separate letter to Accor management giving full details of this unfortunate event.

Overall, the hotel offered a great experience. For those nitpickers complaining about outdated facilities, it's a 10-year-old hotel that's been maintained exceptionally well. If you want new, go stay in a formaldehyde-ridden room! The lobby is quite unique and grand. Check-in was smooth with a butler who made communication and problem-solving easy. I forgot to close the screen window when I went out, worried about bugs, and it was sorted instantly via WeChat. The room size is ample, and the balcony view is nice. The bedding is good, and the pillows are comfortable. They even provide bed rails for those with kids. Beyond that, it's a standard, excellent star-rated hotel. There's a courtyard in front of the lobby for relaxing. My wife wanted to try local specialties like Xidoufen and Barener Si, so we skipped breakfast, thus no comment on that. This is also one of only two Tesla Supercharging stations built at hotels in Dali (the other being Junfa Pullman). Tesla isn't stupid, they choose their locations wisely. The location is good, at the foot of a hillside, very quiet. It's very close to the three cableways for Cangshan. For exploring the western route (Dali Ancient City, Xizhou Ancient Town, Hai She Park), this is the best place to stay.

Five stars aren't enough; I wish I could give 100 stars! What an amazing place. **Room View:** Absolutely perfect! You don't even have to leave the hotel to admire the snow-capped mountains and the breathtaking sight of the 'Golden Mountain' at sunrise. It's truly spectacular! Building R is legendary. I came to Lijiang specifically for this view. **Service:** Excellent. From stepping out of the car, to check-in at the front desk, to the activities at the lakeside pavilion, to room service, the restaurant, and the pool – every staff member was incredibly kind. Bella at the front desk was especially thoughtful and provided very clear information about the hotel. **Activities:** The hotel offers many activities perfect for a vacation. The two uncles and aunts at the lakeside pavilion were wonderful; they even organized the morning animal feeding activity and were very patient. **Facilities:** You wouldn't guess this hotel has been open for so long! The original renovation must have used top-notch materials. The bed is super comfortable, the mattress isn't saggy, and the duvet is soft. The TV even allows screen mirroring, which is great for kids to watch cartoons or educational videos. **Food:** Delicious! And a good variety too. The cream was especially tasty! Really, really good! The coffee was fragrant. The breakfast restaurant offers views of the snow-capped mountains. Afternoon tea was also excellent. The Yunnan cuisine restaurant was better than any of the trendy spots outside. **Location & Transportation:** Located right next to Shuhe Ancient Town, the location is fantastic. It's a 12 RMB taxi ride to the ancient city, taking less than 20 minutes. A taxi to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain costs around 40 RMB and takes 30 minutes. It's not as chaotic as being directly in the ancient town, nor as inconvenient as staying up on the mountain.

I have to rave about this guesthouse; I've never fallen so completely in love with a place! 😭😭 The courtyard is absolutely beautiful. The hostesses were incredibly kind, meticulously explaining every corner of the guesthouse and recommending fantastic places to eat in Shuhe Ancient Town (which were indeed delicious!). Our room even had handmade lip balm, which smelled divine and was incredibly effective. The bathroom amenities were exceptionally comprehensive, unlike anything I've encountered before, making our stay incredibly comfortable. There was also a guestbook in the room, which was such a heartwarming and touching detail. We received an incredibly warm welcome upon check-in, and the homemade cake the hostesses prepared was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was also incredibly hearty; it was so filling, we didn't even need lunch. In the afternoon, they also offered afternoon tea with drinks and desserts. The mocktails were delicious, and the ice cream was scrumptious too. I absolutely will be back! 😭😭😭
