The hotel is lovely, clean and cosy. It came with free bottles of water. It’s quiet so you can enjoy your peaceful sleep.
The front desk people were lovely and helpful right as I got to the front desk and assisted with the number of cab company as my flight was very early in the morning.
I don’t know if they have bell boys though (I didn’t ask, so had to struggle with getting my luggage from my room to the reception during check out).
I’ll definitely recommend this hotel.
Good hotel as you would expect from the brand. Excellent service from the staff. My picture isn’t great because I took a quick snap in the morning as I was leaving. Hotel starting to look slightly tired but it’s clean. Just needs a little redecoration in places. Nothing major. I only notice this as I’ve stayed several times before over the years.

I chose this hotel because it was close to an event I was attending. The location was perfect for me. The breakfast wasn't the most varied, but I never left hungry. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but perfectly fine for a couple of nights. A nice touch was having four hangers for clothes. Overall, I was happy with my trip and the hotel. The photo was taken upon check-out, but of course, everything was clean when I checked in.
The building has excellent fire safety features. There are a lot of heavy fire doors at each corridor and it's sometimes difficult to maneuver to my room. Seems like almost every morning 0750H there would be fire alarm triggered and everyone has to evacuate to the sidewalk across the street. It could take about 15min to half an hour before the alarm stops. Thus it's best to either be out of the hostel before 0730 or at least be ready to run with appropriate warm clothing and your mobile phone in hand.
Perfect location (as we had a wedding at Hornchurch) We were travelling by train, we literally got off the tube, arrived at the exitthis hotel was literally there, in front of us. The breakfast was good and the staff were lovely however the only issue I really had was that the entire room (includong the toilet combined) was smaller than my bedroom growing up as a child. For single occupancy would be marginally better and if i'd been a way with the girls, there is no way i'd want to be sharing that teenie tiny room with anyone (luckily I was with my husband however saying that my husband struggled to get around the bed due to having a bad back). If you're not bothered about the space and need a hotel locally to this area, I would definitely recommend it. I apologise for the mess in the photos but there seriously no room to move and kinda puts it into perspective (I think I'm still in shock the lack of space which is the only downfall).
A repeat visit and I'll revisit again.
Check-in via the pub bar.
Electronic card access through the bedroom.
Bring your own padlock for the individual cages to store your personal items or buy one on site.
Bring your own towel too, or again, buy on site.
A Sainsburys supermarket is only a few minutes walk away.
Nice vibe in the pub without it being too crowded, nice food menu available too.
We’ve stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott London City Airport multiple times now, and it’s always a place we look forward to returning to.
The rooms are consistently spacious, with a large bathroom that adds to the comfort of the stay. Everything is always very clean and well-maintained, which we really appreciate. The location is also a big plus — being so close to both the airport and the DLR makes it incredibly convenient, especially for travel.
Check-in is always smooth, with friendly and helpful staff who make the process quick and welcoming.
Breakfast is another highlight, offering good quality food and a wide variety of options to choose from, which sets you up well for the day.
Overall, it’s a reliable and comfortable hotel that we’re always happy to come back to.
Modern, spacious room, good bathroom facilities including powerful shower. Great soundproofing- I could see the DLR track but it was largely inaudible. The pool is not particularly large but the water is very warm. Very pleasant experience, I would definitely return.
Staying at this hotel for 3 days for my conference in the Intercontinential O2. It was easy to get there. Room is comfortable, quite big and I guess I got a pretty decent prize compared to other hotels around that time. Most likely will stay there again if I have another business trip near the area.
The hotel had a great location and was very clean and well kept. View was really nice. The room quality was also really good.
The only downside was the amenities — even just providing bottled water in the room would make a big difference, since not everyone wants to drink tap water. I had to go out and buy water, which was a bit inconvenient. At breakfast, the eggs were served next to the bacon, so they seemed contaminated and weren’t really suitable for vegetarians or anyone avoiding bacon.

GGuest UserGreat service and nice staff. Currently under construction, this wasn’t apparent when I booked but made the stay a bit less luxurious, and construction noise started early some mornings. My room was also next to a back alley where glass was dropped and shattered the entire night through, making quite a lot of noise. Indicated times on the information sheet of services was often incorrect: bar closed earlier, room service stopped earlier, can’t get extra shampoo etc after 23.00
GGuest UserHotel is a bit dated but it’s clean in general. We had the buffet breakfast and it was good value and have variety of food and drinks. Staff were very helpful and we felt so welcoming.
We parked our car at the hotel car park overnight, we didn’t book directly with them but with APOCA as it’s cheaper. Would be better if there’s a barrier or security guard on site. Also if there’s charging port for electric cars, but there’s a Tesco nearby which is about 8 minutes drive, they have fast charger so you can shop while your car is being charged.
Great location; The hotel is just outside the congestion zone and 5 minutes walk to the nearest underground station and high street shops too.
GGuest UserThe stay was very successful. Everything was great – the hotel was clean and well-maintained, the staff were nice and helpful, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The room was comfortable and well-equipped; the only minor complaint would be a small bit of mold in the bathroom. I definitely recommend it and would happily return.
GGuest UserThe location of this hotel is great- just a 5 minute walk from Paddington which in turn is just two stops on the Tube from the west end. You are also less than a 10 minute walk from the beautiful Kensington Park. Service at reception and in the restaurant was excellent. The continental breakfast is really good with a wide choice that includes boiled eggs, cold meats and cheese. The rooms are spotless in terms of cleanliness but be aware that if you wake up just before 9 and want a shower the water may not be hot due to wider use but at other times is hot.
WWonderwanderWe have had some hiccups during our stay, ie microwave not working, but the staff has been helpful and wet out of the way to resolve the issues. Nice to have cooking facilities. Good location
GGuest UserThe room was clean and the environment was comfortable, highly recommended. Overall, the experience was great, and it's not far from the city center, so it's definitely worth recommending. The front desk service was also very enthusiastic, making for an excellent experience.

After booking apprehensive about traffic noise from the busy main road. Nothing got through the sound-proofed windows, except the occasional sirens. So far so good. Even though I set the air circulation on, set it down to its lowest setting of 17C, nothing changed and the room remained all stay uncomfortable and warm. The raised bedroom was even hotter so I had to sleep without any duvet., The worst was the size of the room. There was 150cm x 180cm rectangle where you might just swing a cat, with 2P sofa to one longside and a 40cm shelf table to the other, full of the welcome kit, no room to put anywhere else and no room for you to use. Al the other floorspae was =taken up by access. Yes there was a small cupboard for clothes for maybe a couple of nights, not even room to put a suitcase. The bed platform was even worse with just a narrow 30cm passage to either side. Then there was the spiral steps up to the bed platform, steep and very narrow probably 40cm widew, inaccessible should you have a wide girth or are not agile.
Yes the breakfast and items across all the expected breakfast buffet range, but uninspired quality, powered scrambled egg, no fried egg, didnt ask for a boiled egg, so disenchanted with the whole deal.
Before parting with any money make sure that you get a copy of the floor plans there are several odd and small sized rooms, then make sure your room is not either 103 wew were unfortunate to get or its twin 106. Otherwise the interior was clean, modern still reasonably fresh and the staff responsive. Just our room, sold as delux was not, even if you did not want to swing a cat, not even for if sold as a single.
MM.AshalThe reception team were friendly at check in, and I was given a beautiful tin of truffles and some drinks vouchers (maybe as a diamond member?). This was really a special touch and appreciated.
However the room itself wasn’t great. I’ve stayed in quite a few London hotels so know you don’t get lots of space and for 1 night you don’t need much, but this room was so small it was a struggle to move about.
The air conditioning was on but it was weak. Thankfully the window opened slightly but it remained warm in the room.
Bathroom was dated, quite small and felt cheap.
Minor point but the pillows and duvet didn’t feel like the usual Hilton ones, they seemed thicker…
Overall, it was clean, relatively quiet and had great service which is all that’s really needed, but it felt more of a budget hotel with Hilton price tag.
I do think they are doing everything they can to make stays as good as possible, since they can’t really do anything about the room sizes.
LLiyaniuThe room was incredibly small! I couldn't believe how tiny 10 square meters felt. I was genuinely shocked when I opened the door. It was even difficult to open my luggage. The table was pathetically small, and there wasn't even a chair. Storage space was extremely limited. The bathroom was even tinier, comparable to an airplane lavatory. Overall, my stay was very uncomfortable. The only positives were the comfortable bed and the breakfast, which at least offered some variety. After a difficult two nights, I decisively moved to the Hilton across the street, and the experience was significantly better. What baffles me is that this place was even more expensive than the Hilton. On the whole, dining and getting around were very convenient, with various UCL colleges in the vicinity. There's a Nero Cafe right next door, so if you don't want the hotel breakfast, you can grab something there. Heading south down the street, you'll find quite a few Chinese restaurants, which is very handy.
TTravel around the world FannySo far so good
Price in London is reasonable
Hotel parking need to be paid but so common in London £15 per day
Room not bad at least clean
Very close to station
Staff always too busy need to wait for like 15-30mins to ask them
