There was no lift, just a maze of stairs, so if you have luggage, please be aware that some effort is required!
Room was on the smaller side, but it was cozy and the bed was comfortable. Very conveniently located as well, just a 5 minute walk to Kilkenny castle and the main streets. Reception was lovely and very helpful!
One suggestion is to do some maintenance on the toilet sliding door. It screeched quite badly when opening and closing, which would have woken someone up if done in the middle of the night!

The old building has some minor inconveniences, but they're manageable.
The basic facilities are complete, and the restaurant and bar are excellent!
The hotel staff are friendly and attentive, thank you!
Overall, this is a very good hotel, highly recommended!

Very nice hotel
Staff lovely and friendly and helpful.
The only comment I have is when I checked in I was not informed about where the facilities where or when they where open.
The time breakfast was starting or finishing.
It was probably an oversight.
But overall a very nice stay and I will be back.

_ Bedroom & TV (carrier open space enough)

First night room ok cramped
Service and food in restaurant v poor or average at best
Staff not organised
Veg options poor
Second night disaster with rubbish support from reception over repeated complaints about noise from next room
Reception had private mobile number of that guest so something v strange going on.
Follow up by James manager also poor
Expensive for lack of quality and service we received
Owners should be alarmed.

Guest UserReally nice hotel and very friendly staff. Check in after 3pm was not great and the gym and pool are dated but generally good to use. Across from the carpark and you get a discount so very convenient.
