The room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was cozy, and the view was great, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were warm and attentive, providing excellent service. The hotel's location is superb, offering convenient transportation, and the breakfast selection was extensive.

Stayed on the 2nd floor and the room was good size for 2 people. Room was clean and the showers area was quite spacious. The bed and pillows were to soft for me. The only let down was the view from the windows, directly opposite another hotel bedroom windows which was like 6ft away. If you like good views then I suggest asking for room with view or pay the extra, as we got the premium king room. Breakfast was just average, nothing fancy but enough for quick bite. The receptionists were all polite & friendly. I would recomemd this hotel and especially if you would like a Central area to stay in Amsterdam.

Overall experience was great, one of the late morning check-in male staff was really welcoming and even upgraded me to a higher floor with a fantastic view of the river. But since the checkin is 3pm, when I got back, another burlier guy got us our keys but was way too serious and sombre. It's fine but a smile would go a long way. One tiny irk was the lack of bedroom slippers in a carpeted room. I feel it should be basic. And this is the one time I didn't bring a just-in-case pair and i was caught out. Anyway, location is good, tram connection to the Centraal Station just across the street or a 10min walk.

The hotel is a modern design not far from the airport. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. In our short stay here during our connection in Amsterdam wasn’t the best. In the room there was quite a bit of background noise causing me and my friend to not be able to get to sleep for a kind while. I turned off the climate control and even removed the card to shut off the electric for the room and there was still a buzzing noise in the background. Upon check in I asked if we could get a wake up call and were told the phones don’t work so just set an alarm on your phone. I also asked if there was a shuttle service to the airport you could avail of as it’s only 10/15 minutes drive and he said no and to just book a taxi on my phone. I found the worker a bit rude. The hotel is a nice vibe has a Nespresso professional machine which provided a lovely coffee during check in but I’d recommend earplugs for your sleep

Great location - short walk to the Muiderpoort station and a 5 mins train ride into Amsterdam Centraal! For the price, the accomodation was very reasonable and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. House keeping comes by everyday so you always have a clean room and towels. A fridge in the room is also very handy. Staff are there 24/7 and very helpful.  The walls are thin, so if you have noisy neighbours you can hear everything, so it could be annoying!  Overall, great stay in Amsterdam!

The hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the train station and all the main attractions. Both the hotel and the room were spotless and didn't have any strange smells, which was great. The only minor downside was that the music from nearby bars could be a bit loud at night.

Overall, this hotel is quite similar to hotels in Japan – clean, but definitely on the smaller side. The shower stall barely fits one person. However, the views and location are excellent; it's literally just 50 meters from the station's ticket gate, incredibly convenient. It's generally clean, and right across from Amsterdam's city center. The Wi-Fi is also very fast. The Ibis across the street was a bit cheaper and also very close, but I read online that there was a chance of being assigned to a basement room, so I opted for this one instead. The Red Light District is less than a kilometer away, and there's even a Uniqlo right in front. The downside, as shown in the pictures (if provided), is that the special single queen room has two connecting doors to the adjacent room, and they weren't locked upon check-in, which was a bit alarming. After I reported it to the front desk, they locked it. Good thing it was closed, as I heard the people next door trying to open it a few times that night, curious about the door.

Steigenberger Airport Hotel Amsterdam actually has a whole honeycomb for breakfast! Their breakfast is truly amazing – a honeycomb, grapefruit, freshly made 'jianbing guozi' (a savory Chinese crepe), and the best omelets I've ever had. Definitely lives up to its reputation as a classic German hotel. Oh, and out of the four pillows, one is lavender-filled. It felt lumpy at first, and I thought it was a buckwheat pillow. I slept wonderfully. There were many Chinese and German guests, and a lot of flight attendants were also having breakfast there. There's a forest near the hotel, perfect for morning runs. However, the facilities are a bit old, and the toiletries feel like those in a budget hotel, all 2-in-1. The hotel is a great choice for those looking for a clean, spacious, and safe environment away from the city bustle. It feels very ”family-friendly” and is surrounded by nature, making it a peaceful retreat. However, keep in mind its location if you plan on visiting the city center frequently. Location & Transport 🚌 Proximity: Conveniently located about 10 minutes from the airport. Shuttle: The hotel provides a scheduled shuttle bus to and from the airport with frequent departures. City Access: There is no direct transport to the city center. To get downtown, you must take the shuttle back to the airport and transfer to a train/bus, call a taxi, or take a local bus to a transit point. It can feel a bit isolated if you don't have a car. Parking 🚗 There is ample parking space available, but please note that it costs approximately €20 per day. Room Quality 🛌 The Good: The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, the room quality is very satisfying. The Amenities: A bit minimal. They provide the basics (soap, shampoo, and lotion), but no shower caps or other extra vanity kits. You might want to bring your own. Service & Facilities 🍳 Staff: The front desk team is professional and helpful. Breakfast: A highlight! The breakfast spread is good, and the staff are very attentive—constantly clearing plates and keeping the tables clean. This is a pretty standard luxury hotel, with no major issues. There's a mini-fridge, but it's not cold enough and doesn't come stocked with anything. However, the umbrella is a high-end carbon fiber one, which is quite rare and a nice touch. The bathroom drain had a bit of a problem, probably a clog from hair that needs to be cleaned promptly. My biggest issue, though, was the front desk – they were incredibly slow! Especially during check-out. I've never seen a hotel where you have to wait in line one by one; usually, you just leave your room card and go.
