Unfortunately the fridge didn't work, nor did the TV. The a/c was very noisy and we could hear all the street noise. The staff were very accommodating in trying to rectify the issues. Thankyou to them.

As soon as I entered my room, I was struck by the stunning marina view.
The hotel is old, but the rooms have been beautifully renovated, so even picky Korean guests will be satisfied.
The pool and view are beautiful, and you can even see the Hilton fireworks every Friday. I highly recommend it. Ala Moana Shopping Mall is also within walking distance.

As incredible affordable budget hotel, I have everything I need, kitchen to prepare simple meal, so easy to access too bus right on Kūhiō street, most importantly, easy to access budget rental car and able to drop car after hour easily with no parking charge. Most importantly, close to so many great restaurant right beside hotel on international market. Finally, it is not too far to walk to beach in 2 blocks. Hotel itself is old; it is great for budget stay if one do not want to spend too much on hotel

Hilton waikiki resort and spa
Check in was seamless the receptionist was knowledgable and informed us about multiple things to do /places to eat 8/10
The carpet in the hall ways proved difficult with 3 suitcases each so if you have numerous cases help maybe the easier option.4/10
The room was spotless on arrival could still smell the cleaning agent. The room was spacious two queen beds small balcony with table n 2 chairs. Tv/fridge/dvd player all great. Rent a dvd option is great lots to choose from. Just make sure you return it. 8/10
The iron however must not get used or inspected as when we went to use this it spit out black gunk and grit. So be careful with that. We did call for a new one and someone came within 20 minutes gave us a new one and took the old one.
The lady cleaning our room was fantastic! she was there 9 out of 10 days of our stay nothing was too much trouble, we gave her a great tip for all her hard work! 10/10
The pool area does not get the sun all day so if you are a sun worshipper be aware there is times the pool area is fully shaded but it is clean - we were there December 3-13 and there was no fighting for a bed so to speak. In the height of summer that could be an issue. The pool area has 2 cabanas ($100) and 6 day beds ($45) these are an extra charge and were never used by anyone in our 10 day trip. Extra loungers that are free would be much more useful to customers in such a small space in our opinion. There is a small smokers section for those who need it. The pool bar offers drinks and snacks the service was friendly and efficient it is cashless so need card or phone with you unless you charge to room. The food menu was okay price wise (chicken tenders and fries $18) the drinks prices are elevated but i guess that is expected in the hotel bar (bucket of 4 small cans of beer or seltzer 330ml ish $25) 7/10
You can collect you pool towels at the pool using ur room card but Be aware that you have to return your towels as there is a $25 fee if you do not.
We used the main stairs daily unfortunately these do not get cleaned as often as you would think. We reported spill marks on the main stairs on the second day. It was like someone spilled their cup of tea or coffee, 9 days later the spillage marks are still there. To some this might seem pedantic but this hotel is a Hilton costing approximately (AUD $3967) (USD $2580) (GPB £1929) for 10 nights bed n breakfast a clean lobby and staircase should be standard. 1/10
Be aware they offer grand vacation timeshares in their lobby unless you want to waste 1/2 a day of your holiday do not sign up it is not only 2 hours. Also do not let the staff “inflate” your income to make you eligible to sign up. They Conservatively start from USD $30,000 so if you have that to invest in your future holidays this will get you the lowest levels of Hilton timeshare points available. This is pushed in the lobby while you enquire about day trips out. 1/10
Breakfast which was included in the cost of our stay was basic there was not much variety but there was fresh fruit each day. 5/10
Overall our stay was a 7/10

The Rainbow Tower is perfect for a family of four, with two spacious queen-sized beds (1.5 meters wide). This tower is one of the newer buildings within the Hilton property. A higher floor offers better views. We were on the 30th floor (upgrading to an ocean view room costs an additional $65 per day, which we didn't do). Facing directly towards the Reef Island, and with half the ocean visible, it’s a 'semi-ocean view' and still offers excellent vistas.
On the day we checked in, there was some small trash left in the toilet that hadn't been cleaned. We were too late and tired to call the front desk, but when we returned from our outing the next day, it had been thoroughly cleaned, and the beds were made (we left a dollar tip each day we went out).
There's no kettle in the room, nor is drinking water provided. Bring a cup, and you can get water from the purifiers downstairs. There's a coffee machine, but the water inlet had a lot of scale, so it didn't look very clean, and we didn't use it.
**Convenience:** The beach is right downstairs, along with several swimming pools. It's super convenient to be able to get back to the room for a shower within 5 minutes after playing in the water.
**Dining:** Across from the Rainbow Tower is Tropics Bar & Grill, which serves breakfast and lunch. It's a bit more expensive than outside the hotel, but the food is good. Coffee here is $6 with unlimited refills, and you can even take a cup to go when you leave. For kids who don't like meat, I recommend the pancakes. For meat-lovers, try the Sunrise Sando. Their signature Tropical Acai Bowl is a smoothie made from blended berries and ice, topped with granola, banana, and strawberries. It tastes a bit like ice cream and is great for cooling down after sun exposure.
There's also an excellent ice cream shop in the hotel; the line starts forming around 5 PM, and one scoop costs $7.99.
**Shopping:** There's an ABC Store right in the hotel, where you can buy just about anything. I compared prices, and they weren't much different from outside the hotel. There's also a cookie shop where you can sample before buying. They offer local specialties, perfect for souvenirs.
**Friday Fireworks:** There are fireworks on Friday night. While simple and short, watching them from the beach is still very enjoyable. They start at 7:45 PM, so go early to the beach by the lagoon island to get a front-row spot for a clearer view.
**Tips:** Keep the small card you receive at check-in handy; you can use it to get free towels on the beach.
If you have kids, definitely take them to the children's pool next to the Rainbow Tower. It has three waterslides and two small hot spring pools – kids can play there all day.

I usually book with the Marriott down the street whenever I’m in Waikiki but I opted to try the Hyatt for the first time; it was also a little cheaper than the Marriott the day that I went.
I got a King room with a city view on the 7th floor. The room was large, clean and one of the corners of the tower so it had a curving layout.
Overall the room was clean, bed was comfortable, A/C was cold. My only little gripe was in the bathroom, there weren’t any shampoos or conditioners or body wash in the tub like other hotels.
Can’t say much for service since I was only there for a day but the employees I did interact with were friendly and helpful.
Definitely would stay there again.

The room itself is OK, the air-conditioning is sufficient, but outside the window is the direction of the hotel door, there may be any exhaust fan, especially hot. Breakfast is casual, there are many people, but there is almost no choice, there are cupcakes, milk is cold, fortunately I brought hot water, drinks did not drink. The hotel is located in the middle lane of 2 nearest main road parallel to the seaside so want to be quieter. Check out time forgets 11 or 12 o'clock

Loved this hotel so much we extended our stay. The accommodations were great and the hotel is centrally located. The staff is superb and the lobby always smelled amazing. The water dispenser was great for our trip as we were able to refill our canteen.

The room felt quite new, likely having been renovated within the last two years. The only downside was the incessant sound of running water in our room, day and night. I suspect it's from a water pipe within the wall. Also, the microwave is located at the very end of the corridors on the 9th and 15th floors, built into a wall niche. If you're trying to heat up a couple of items, there's absolutely no counter space or anywhere to set things down beside it.

I've stayed at three hotels in Hawaii, and this one was the cleanest. The room size was a bit smaller compared to other hotels, but it was fine. Since it was Christmas, they were giving out hot chocolate in the lobby, which was delicious.
It's very close to the beach, and the pool is nice and pretty, but for beach equipment rentals, you have to go to a place quite a distance away, not the hotel itself. That was a bit inconvenient.
Also, the pool water was a little dirty.
Using the washing machine here was great, as it was $3 compared to $6 at Marriott.
When I checked in, Japanese staff helped me, but I was a bit disappointed that they kept talking to each other in Japanese and didn't provide enough information about using the hotel facilities.

AAIThe location was great, right next to Ala Moana Shopping Center and within walking distance of Waikiki! The amenities were a bit inconvenient, with only a hairdryer, tissues, bar soap, and body cream provided. Overall, though, I thought it was a great hotel!
GGUOQINGThe hotel has good facilities and a beautiful environment. Our room is right next to the golf course. Walk in for a few minutes to the beach. The room is not very soundproof and can be heard when walking on the second floor. The parking lot charges 15 dollars.
SSevost13We stayed at this hotel from October 29 to November 4. Overall, the staff was polite and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided — which we appreciated. However, several issues significantly affected our experience.
First, the accessible bathroom we specifically booked did not match the photos. There was no handheld shower head, which was important for us. Second, the mirror in the hallway was noticeably dirty upon arrival, with visible streaks from a wet cloth — quite unpleasant for a hotel of this level.
I also reported that the faucet in the sink splashed water everywhere, soaking the countertop and the floor. I was told the issue would be checked, but nothing was fixed throughout our stay. The two-faucet system used to regulate water in the bathroom was also very inconvenient, and we consistently had problems with unstable hot water pressure.
A separate major issue was the parking. I prepaid and reserved parking for 5 days, but on the second evening all the spots were already taken, and I was simply instructed to park in a different building nearby. This was extremely inconvenient — having to carry things from the 3rd floor of another parking structure and waste additional time. It turned out that even if you pay in advance, your parking spot is not guaranteed — anyone from outside can take it. So you pay, but end up without the service you were promised.
Overall, the staff tried to provide good service, but the organizational issues, maintenance problems, and poorly managed parking system seriously reduced our comfort. Unfortunately, after this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserThe room is really big and clean. My daughter likes it here because there is a super big swimming pool. The hotel is very large. It is recommended to stay in the Makai room type. Other rooms require a ferry train or boat to arrive. The hotel has a great view, and the scenery outside the hotel is also beautiful. There is a shopping district within two kilometers, which is very convenient for eating, drinking and shopping.
3333ひろ333I was surprised at how big the resort hotel was. There was a tram, but no boats. The service to make inquiries in Japanese ended in March. The shuttle bus to the nearby shopping mall was $5 one way, so I walked there (just over 20 minutes). The room was spacious, but the water flow in the bathtub was not so good. From the room, you could see the golf course and the sea. The grounds are large, so I got up early in the morning and took a walk, which felt great. The best spots to see the sunset were written on the map of the grounds, so I was able to see a really beautiful sunset. There were sea turtles and dolphins, and a fun pool, so I had a wonderful time.
TTravolicThe room is very clean and the staff has very good service attitude. There is a swimming pool, gym, laundry room and performances on the first floor. There are free coffee, tea bags and water dispenser in the lobby.
DDaisy226The hotel room is ok, but there is basically no sound insulation. The noise downstairs will last until the early morning. Those who have trouble sleeping can look for other hotels. The location is very good. The restaurant downstairs is always lined up and the taste is not bad.
GGuest UserTitle: Perfect Stay in the Heart of Kona 🌺
I had an amazing experience at the Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel! The location couldn’t be better—right on the waterfront, with beautiful views of Kailua Bay and just steps away from shops, restaurants, and the pier.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a cozy bed and a balcony where I could enjoy the ocean breeze every morning. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, always ready with a smile and great local tips.
The on-site amenities were fantastic: the pool area was relaxing, the fitness center was well-equipped, and the beach right in front of the hotel was perfect for a quick swim or paddleboarding. I also loved the cultural touches, like the Hawaiian artwork and the historical displays in the lobby, which made the stay feel uniquely local.
This hotel truly offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and Hawaiian charm. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Kona!
AAnonymous UserThis hotel is definitely good in Hilo, Big Island, with beautiful scenery and a free botanical garden next to it where you can see the Hawaiian state bird, the nēnē goose. It is about a 10-minute drive from the airport. The interior decoration of the room is relatively ordinary, with large white walls. There is only a small outdoor swimming pool. The sea view room I booked does face the sea with all windows. It is very beautiful when I open the curtains in the morning.
There is another thunder point. This hotel does not clean the room by default for consecutive stays. You need to make an appointment for cleaning in advance or tell them that you need to clean every day when you check in. Otherwise, their room service will not enter the room!
The breakfast I booked on Ctrip included three breakfasts, but in fact, their hotel can only book two by default. When I got there, I contacted Ctrip again, and Ctrip refunded me the breakfast fee for one person.
Later, when I checked out, I asked the front desk to print out the bill to figure out how they calculated the breakfast. Here I will also introduce it to you: the hotel breakfast is priced at 25 yuan per person. It is not a buffet but a meal. After ordering, it will be posted to the room bill and charged according to the actual fee. But when I checked out, the front desk didn't mention the breakfast bill, and directly calculated the total bill. I found that the settlement email sent to me was the total bill including breakfast. I went back to the front desk and reminded her that I had booked a breakfast-included package. She said, ”Oh, sorry to check it.” Then she said she would refund 25 yuan/day/person (50 yuan/day) to my card. If I hadn't checked it, I would have charged it again without knowing it. So it is recommended that you don't include breakfast in this hotel. The quality of their a la carte breakfast is still good, and you can go to the restaurant to order it directly.
In addition, the beverage coupons given in the lobby bar can be used in the lobby bar, but I didn't find out until the last day that it can also be used in the breakfast room. One coupon can be exchanged for a glass of juice or soft drink. Then the hotel also has free hot coffee and hot tea, but it is hidden next to the restaurant. You have to ask to understand.
There are also two large cookies given when you check in, and you can ask her for them at any time. The front desk will be happy to give you two.
Here I provide information for people with social anxiety and friends who are not good at English.
