Old Montreal
I love this hotel nestled in the heart of Old Montréal and Old Port. I had a great room with a wonderful corner view of Old Montréal, it’s rooftops, the Grande Roue and the little cafes and boutiques below. Room is very comfortable. I love the long modern working desk, the comfy lounge chair, plush bedding and above all the spa multi jet shower… Because of pandemic restrictions most of the amenities of the hotel were not accessible. The hotel has such a nice lounge and bar area but I couldn’t go there. The gym was also off limits. There is an outdoor courtyard that was advertised as open even in the winter with fire pits but it wasn’t accessible during my stay. My only complaint would be that my room was drafty but I also stayed on one of the coldest weekends of the year and I could adjust the heat in the room. I asked for a throw blanket to cuddle in while reading in the lounge chair. They brought me the cuddliest faux fur blanket, I was almost thankful for the draft. Can’t wait for my next opportunity to stay here. In my opinion, this hotel is more geared towards adults (solo/business/couples/adult getaways) rather than families with young children. It has a high-end, modern, chic vibe. However, I’m quite sure they would accommodate children too. Photos don’t do the view justice. They were taken during a snow storm with poor visibility. Under normal conditions, was really nice and at night, so beautiful with all the lights and illuminated Grande Roue.

Quite disappointed with the room provided vis-a-vis what was reserved. Two double beds instead of two queens was a tight squeeze for our family. I fail to understand why this happened, particularly since the room was booked two months in advance of arrival & secured with a credit card. I was told the hotel was fully booked for the weekend so the issue could not be remedied. That said, our room was on the pool level which was kind of nice. The room was clean and included a small fridge plus a safe. There was also a steamer which was handy for touching up formal attire. The hallways seemed a bit dim & May benefit from an update. They were quiet, without echos, which was nice however. Finally, the Metro station can be easily accessed through the building which is a bonus! Based on overall experience, I would recommend this hotel. I may consider it for future trips to Montreal but might be a bit apprehensive based on the room switch which occurred.

Quartier des Spectacles
Everything was as expected to the friendly front desk staff, clean room, comfortable bed and awesome location. You can walk to the old port, downtown and abundant shopping malls from the hotel. We didn’t use our car so the $30/night fee seems expensive. All around great stay in an awesome city.

We had a good stay and it was the perfect location, lots of places within walking distance - shopping, restaurants, concert hall. We had a small issue with the heat and adjusting the temperature and the elevator was just okay but would stay here again if passing through. Staff was very helpful checking us in and answering some questions about places in the area.
Comfort Inn Airport Dorval

Breakfast is average, but it is still very convenient and cost-effective. The hotel is a few kilometers from the airport, you can see the plane taking off, the children like it. The hotel has a car park and there is also a free bus airport transfer.

Downtown Montreal
The hotel was very central to all the place we wanted to be. It seemed like a 20 min walk to everywhere. Chinatown, Old Montreal, Waterfront, St Catherine street to city centre and the other way to The Gay Village. There are a lot of people that hang around in the streets around the hotel but it seems to be a big issue in Montreal in general. We never felt unsafe but we are from Toronto. The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. We stayed in a Panoramic rooms so we had a corner and a lounge. The rooms with just the beds are very small, it was nice having the extra space. They did not clean the rooms due to Covid which was fine but there is no where to dry a towel so we had to be creative. The bed was comfortable thought because it was not fully made up each day it got to be a bit of a mess and was harder to fix. The AC in the bedroom blows right on your head! The Lobby smelled wonderful and was clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. All in all great place and we would stay again.

After returning from a road trip to Nova Scotia from Toronto, we were anxious to get home. Living out of a suitcase and sleeping on a different bed almost every night after 8 days was enough for us. A phenomenal vacation exploring Nova Scotia though. We drove 12 hours and booked a room at this gem while on the road. Staff were courteous and helpful. The room was spacious and to our advantage, had a double jacuzzi - great after a day on the road. The bed was super comfy, wifi excellent, and air conditioner worked well. It was just what we needed. The breakfast had plenty of options. Most important is that we woke up feeling refreshed. I definitely recommend this gem.

Great location: 10-15 min walk to the old city Spectacular view: My husbnd and I stayed at a old city / river view room Great restaurant in the Looby: we arrived at the hotel around 9:30pm, didn’t have much option for late dinner. We had ‘Beef Cheek’ and ‘Black Cod’ at Cabu. Food was amazing! We loved food so much, went back to their grab & go/ coffee bar after we checked out. Other things: Nice to have Nespresso machine and Crabtree amenities
Grand Motel Saint-Hubert

The hotel was very comfortable and wasteful in the courtyard and in the pool. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. Waste in front of the door, drawings on the walls, floating floor lifting, water all over the floor of the room, chair eaten by something, squeezed bathroom towel, dirty dishes, not washed boards because smell of cigarettes, Gondolling ceiling, sticks stick on the tape, hole in the door of the bathroom, dirt on the plate of current and moreover, there was no electricity and we see outside when the door was closed. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. The answer I got was ”It's only the owner who can repay you and he is not there.” At the same time, another client pulls the keys on the account and wants to be repaid too. To date I have still not been repaid. The weekend employee admitted to me outside that he would not sleep in this hotel. The hotel is in a lamentable and unhealthy state. Don't get by the photos taken very long ago !!!
Auberge la Chouette

This hotel is located just across the road from the Esplanade Park with several of the attractions in old Quebec City within walking distance. It also houses an Asian restaurant named “Apsara” which is immensely popular and is full of customers every evening. Dealing with this hotel even before we showed up had been quite satisfactory as we had to change our dates that were accommodated. We received the most needed help from this hotel when we were lost and couldn’t find our way to the hotel (when we were actually within 2/3 minutes’ walking distance from the hotel). I walked to the hotel while my wife was in the car a few hundred meters away, and a young employee of the hotel accompanied me to my car and led me to the parking spot that was arranged with another hotel quite close by. We had a long and tiring day and this gesture helped us tremendously. As requested, we were allotted a room upstairs overlooking Esplanade park. Nice room, bathroom, window and flowers ! Bed was comfortable and we slept peacefully. Breakfast was a little disappointing as it was very basic and consisted of bread, butter, jam, cereal, muffin, coffee etc. It would have been perfect if they included something hot – at least eggs, if not bacon and sausage. However, it was a welcoming experience spending a couple of nights here !
