Hotels With Breakfast in Hainan, China

Arriving late at night, a hotel within walking distance from the airport is always my top choice. This one is located just across the corridor from the exit, and it's quite easy to find if you ask for directions. There's a duty-free mall nearby, but it's nothing special. You can find some small shops for a quick bite. The room was quieter and less humid than I expected; I didn't hear any noticeable plane takeoffs or landings. Breakfast was pretty standard. For this price point, I'm very satisfied with the hotel. It's also within walking distance to Meilan High-speed Railway Station for my onward journey the next day.

The hotel is very close to Sun & Moon Duty Free Plaza, and there are many small eateries across the street. It's also a short walk to Qilou Old Street. Although the hotel is a bit old, there wasn't any musty smell or other unpleasant odors, which I had somewhat expected. Being able to book this hotel during the Chinese New Year for this price, I felt it offered excellent value for money! That's why I decided to stay here again when I returned to Haikou. Xiao Wu and Xiao Jie were very attentive during my extended stay.

Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, which made my stay more comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed. Housekeeping did a great job ensuring the room was tidy each day. I also appreciated the hotel’s facilities, which were convenient and well kept.

Staying at the Hilton Wenchang this time was an absolute delight! So much emotional value. Many of the hotel's family-friendly activities are free, and childcare isn't expensive. Our butler, Lulu, was incredibly responsive to all our requests. Although the rocket launch we were hoping to see was canceled, we still had a fantastic time overall. This is definitely the top hotel for family trips to Wenchang. **Value for money:** Better than Sanya. **Recommendation:** Fu Ji Wenchang Chicken in Longlou Town. A must-try! **Downsides:** Qishui Bay Beach is public and quite commercialized, with some litter. **Small details:** Surprisingly, the plates used in the breakfast restaurant and executive lounge were plastic, which felt a bit cheap. There are a few minor details in the room that could be improved, like ensuring every window is sparkling clean.

On my road trip around Hainan, I stopped in Wenchang and chose the Park Plaza – definitely the right decision! The hotel is quite new, only two years old, and boasts a high level of smart technology, which is still rare to find in Wenchang. The room was clean and bright, with a well-thought-out layout and all the necessary amenities. Its central location in the city makes it convenient to get around, especially with so many historical sites in Wenchang, staying downtown was a good choice. The front desk service was incredibly enthusiastic; they proactively contacted me a day in advance and then called on the day of check-in to confirm details, which was very thoughtful. A special mention goes to the breakfast – it was absolutely delicious, refined, and perfectly suited my taste. The buffet stations were beautifully arranged, and the chefs frequently came out to check on guests and ask about their dining experience. Overall, a fantastic stay!

The room was spacious, and downstairs there was a kids' room and a book bar, so the environment was excellent. The staff at the front desk, both the young man and young woman, were incredibly friendly. When we checked in, they immediately asked if we needed to pre-arrange airport shuttle service for our departure. They also offer free luggage storage, which is super convenient for us folks from the North. It's close to the airport, and they have free airport pick-up and drop-off. We left in the early hours of the morning, around 4 AM, and having a car transport us saved us a lot of hassle.

My experience at The Langham Haikou was fantastic! The location is great, and the service is attentive. The lobby has a wonderful, luxurious scent. My room was clean and spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered excellent views of both the ocean and the city lights. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the Hainan noodles and desserts were delicious. The staff were warm and thoughtful, paying attention to every detail. The pool and public areas are very photogenic. Overall, my stay was very pleasant, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Haikou!

My family and I spent one night here travelling by car around the island. The hotel is located in a picturesque place and is made in the form of a small village, so you can drive your own car directly to your apartments, it is very convenient. There are charging stations for electric vehicles including two fast ones. The apartment has a large area and is very cosy, floor heating works in the toilet room which is very comfortable during cool weather. We were very pleasantly surprised that at the reception there is an English-speaking employee who showed a lot of care to us. Also, in the restaurant there was an employee who speaks very good English, who also explained how to go to the orange farm, where we had a great time, collecting delicious oranges on our own. We were very pleased with the hotel, especially the kindness of the staff. Definitely, we'll be back here on our next trip. Мы с семьей отдыхали здесь одну ночь, путешествуя на машине по острову. Отель расположен в живописном месте и сделан в виде небольшого поселка, поэтому на собственном автомобиле можно подъехать прямо к своим апартаментам, это очень удобно. Для электромобилей есть зарядные станции, включая две быстрые. Апартаменты имеют большую площадь и очень уютны, в туалетной комнате работает подогрев пола, что очень комфортно во время прохладной погоды. Мы были очень приятно удивлены, что на ресепшен есть англоговорящая сотрудница, которая проявила очень много заботы в наш адрес. Также, и в ресторане была сотрудница, очень хорошо говорящая по английски, которая в том числе объяснила как проехать на апельсиновую ферму, где мы прекрасно провели время, самостоятельно собирая вкуснейшие апельсины. Мы остались очень довольны отелем, особенно добротой персонала. Определенно, мы еще вернемся сюда во время наших следующий путешествий.

Our family of six, two families in total, spent 6 days and 6 nights traveling in Hainan over the Chinese New Year holiday. We stayed three nights in Sanya, one in Shimei Bay, and two in Haikou. We booked four hotels and two homestays, two of which were star-rated hotels. The two nights we spent at the Hampton by Hilton in Haikou were, according to the kids, the most satisfying. Here's why: The hotel facilities are new, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The toilet is a state-of-the-art heated model with an automatic bidet function. The room also features a large desk. We booked a river view room, and opening the curtains to see the river outside was very refreshing. The breakfast buffet offered a comprehensive selection of both Chinese and Western dishes. The location is convenient, close to Qilou Old Street, making it easy to access many attractions. The hotel was clean, hygienic, and the service was excellent. Before checking in, I saw many reviews mentioning noise issues from the KTV downstairs, which made me a bit worried as noise is a deal-breaker for me. However, I found that during our stay, we didn't experience any noise problems at all. My guess is that perhaps during the Chinese New Year holiday, many people were on vacation and not out singing.
