Really outstanding experience exceeded all expectations. Great spa. Great breakfast. Excellent dinner in the kitchen and a true tour de force at their Michelin restaurant Nebo. Fabulous spa facilities including multiple sauna types etc. We also got massages which were excellent. Our trip was during the late September shoulder season and it was a true pleasure. We also enjoyed the walk along the water toward Opatia. The view from our room was a panoramic perspective of the Adriatic. So glad we stayed there.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff and very clean. Only negative is most tourists come here in the summer for the beautiful shorelines and amazing sea and the hotel should install a retractable laundry line in the bath/shower to hang the bathing suits and beach towels (which you must buy locally or bring yourself as the hotel does not supply them.) The buffet breakfast is utstanding. Now for the region of Rijeka, if you have toured Europe and many of its historical places, this industrial city that also caters to tourists (for the beautiful sea, shoreline, crystal clear waters and amazingblue skies) seriously needs to power wash every building as 95% of them have probably 70 years of industrial grime on them. This is sad because many of the really historic buildings are quite beautiful (not the communist block and industrial buildings, which unfortunately dominate this city. ) As for the gastro experience in Rijeka, truly outstanding food a d service every where you eat, from the pizza bars to fine dining. The people of Rijeka are truly pleasant and focused on being outstanding ambassadors for Croatia.

The setting of this hotel is stunning. Walking distance to the very sweet Veli Losinj harbour and a short cycle ride to Mali Losinj. There are amazing cycle/running/walking paths all over the island and bike hire shops right outside the hotel. The hotel has two beautiful pools outside and the most incredible spa. Spa services include a wonderful sauna zone and some great fitness classes too. Our son enjoyed world-class tennis at the adjoining Ljubicic Tennis Academy too which is highly recommended. We had lots of space with two large connecting rooms that shared large wrap-around balcony with a stunning view of the ocean.

Lobby: impressive with a great view over the pool and the see. There is also a nice bar! Pool and Spa: Pool is quite small for such a big hotel but the spa is well equipped with a indoor pool, Jacuzzi and different types of sauna. Rooms: Not too big but nice designed and well equipped. Breakfast: very rich selections, I really liked! Dinner: For this money I would try to also eat in the city. The menu is not very varied. Personal: also very varied, some are very kind other are grumpy. Entertainment: every two evenings we had a nice musical show. Parking: better to leave the car on the public parking spaces. Larger space and cheaper. It is not possible to pay by card, just cash and kuna!

I expected much more from the good reviews as i saw on the webpage... we stayed for 3 nights and first night they had a wedding ceremony and it was really loud till 5 in the morning, we expected this to be told from reception but not it was only shown on paper. The beds are nothing extra and really soft.. the pool is really small i expected more from that big hotel so i was not impressed.. one day after the breakfast we came back and my girlfriend left her perfume on the desk i told her dont you worry... but when we came back the whole room was smeling from this perfume so i assume the cleaning ladys used it... so unprofessional i didnt report this to reception, but on this level of 4 stars this should not happen!!! Thats the first time something this strange happened... i am sure i wont come back ever again...

We stayed in the rooms of Villa Abbazia for 3 days breakfast and dinner included. Villa Abbazia is the outbuilding of Hotel Palace Bellevue and shares its facilities. At first it was not specified where to park ( we had to pay a parking at 200 m distance 15€ a day extra) or where the reception was. The Villa Abbazia has rooms in a different building from the main hotel. It was not very comfortable since the nearest door to use to reach the hotel facilities is opened only during breakfast and dinner. The Hotel Palace Bellevue has a very big swimming pool included in the staying. The only thing is that to reach it from the hotel main entrance you have to pass through the dining room. The breakfast is international with a lot of savory and sweet choice. At dinner everything had the same saucy and creamy flavor. It was not so easy to find something simple to eat. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable but the hotel in general needs a lot of renovation. Details are important. The staff is kind but the hotel should also provide tourists some leaflet with suggestions of what to visit during low season or transport information.

Although there are some small negatives, this personal hotel will win you over so that you will be not wanting to leave like us! The hotel is in a magnificent location directly on the sea front of Lovran. Lovran is an unspoilt small town / large village with a delightful very small old town and has everything you could want without being over touristy. Lovely long seafront promenade goes on for a mile or two Pros: Food is good (but not excellent, Lots of it but not always cooked perfectly ) with an extensive buffet at breakfast and dinner. breads are amazing , as is the pizza and fresh fruit and salads. there is always fish and meat and vegetarian. Good soundproofing Hotel has its own little stony beach with a few sun beds and a lovely outdoor pool set in large grounds. Lots of sunbeds with mattresses. Beautiful views over the sea and islands from public rooms and sea facing room s (essential in my opinion) Fabulously peaceful, and thank goodness no music by pool Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly Spa is absolutely fabulous. Lovely large indoor pool with lots of windows and outdoor sitting space and the changing rooms and showers are very good . (although the man on Sunday was the only staff member to have been rude the whole stay) The bar has a balcony overlooking the sea and does a huge array of cocktails Room clean on arrival (but only “touched up “ each day after that). We had a kettle in the room because the rep insists for the British tour group but no other rooms have one. They are very eager to help with your luggage Now the Cons: Outside seating area for breakfast and dinner is plagued by smokers. Perhaps they could divide it into 2 sections so that the non smokers can go outside too without being enveloped in smoke. No decaf coffee at breakfast. You have to buy by the cup which seems unfair as regular coffee and tea is provided . And I could not find any at the local supermarket so best to take your own No bathroom amenities of any kind other than a soap dispenser on the wall. Their Air con is no such thing. In my room there was a temperature control in the room but it did nothing except blow occasional uncold air and it was impossible to get the temperature below 23. However my neighbours rooms both show 24 or 25 but were cooler than mine! It is all regulated from reception and they decide how cold each room is allowed to be. The rep said open the windows instead but that is no good with a busy main road on one side and trees with mossies on the other. And last night my neighbour had what they described as a huge flying cockroach come into their room! I eventually went to reception and discovered that each room has a temperature set centrally and they changed mine. It was better for a few days but still not exceptional. Even worse although the fan blows all night the air cooling seems to switch off at 10pm and come back on at 6 am - but its nighttime you want to be cool! No air extractor in the bathroom. Ligh

Allow yourself more time than expected to get there. There is very little information on the website re parking, boat shuttle transfer & checkin & even after having rang and emailed ahead and then visited the Delfin Pier reception desk, we still ended up checking in way after we had intended as the information we were given turned out to be patchy and incomplete at best. You first need to go the the Maestra reception at Delfin pier with you car & cases & show your reservation to the staff. They will give you a ticket for display in your car and you will await the shuttle bus driver. I would advise waiting in your car as I waited in the air conditioned lobby with a drink as advised but the receptionist failed to notify that the driver had arrived (as she had said she would) and if I hadn't seen the car oark emptying out of the corner of my eye, I would have missed him leaving - I had to leave my drink, run to my car and race to catch up with the convoy lest I have to wait another 20 or so minutes for the next trip. You follow the shuttle bus to a car park about 5 mins drive away, park up (no shade) & jump back in the shuttle bus to be brought back to reception where you await your boat transfer. If this all goes seemlessly you could in theory be on the island within half an hour or so from initially parking up at the pier though I believe 45 - 120 minutes is a more realistic timeframe. The island is great. It has everything you would expect from a resort like this and secluded bays along the ajoining island offer a handy excape from the busier main island. Most bathing coves are sea entry from the rocks and the beaches (bar an artificial one on the central causeway which is sand up to the sealine) are pebbles. Clean clear water & plenty of fish across both islands. Breakfast was extensive & generally tasty but very poorly labelled which makes life very difficult for vegetarians, vegans or those with food allergies. Rooms were ok tho unfortunately there were no tea/coffee making facilities. After reading this in other reviews we brought a travel kettle. They were also a little tired with holes in the curtains, cobwebs in the shower & the air con was good but quite noisy. Balcony blinds, spare plug sockets & ample wardrobe space were pluses. Pools were clean and we managed to get loungers ok (tho this could have been luck). Towels are free to hotel guests (available from the pool bar) but incur additional costs if you wish to change them fro clean ones. There are loungers scattered all over the coves of both islands, tho the further from the hotel they are the more covered in bird poo they are. They don't appear to have anyone check on them or clean them which is a real shame. The grill on the second island was closed for refurb (July 2022) so come prepared with enough food and water if you plan to visit this more relaxed island for longer than a quick walk. Small hotel on the top of a little peninsula. Our room was very small (tiny queen-size-bed, no space for the luggage). But the amazing sea view, the big balcony, the state of the art bathroom outweighed everything. Breakfast offers everything you need and even more (fruits, bread, croissants, eggs...) and again the gorgeous view over the bay to the islands in the distance. There is a Beach Club with sunbeds and access to the sea that belongs to the hotel (but with a champagne-sipping crowd). What can you do in Opatija, except swimming? Walk the Lungomare to charming Volosko. You`ll see beautiful manisons and old Grand Hotels (some refurbished, some felt into disrepair). It will remind you of a time of European Grandeur, which is almost gone.

Very beautiful hotel by the Sea. Room was big with splendid sea view from the balcony. Relaxing spa zone. Personal is very kind and hospitable and we feel great. Brekfast was avesome with lot of choices and food is general delicious. We visited hotel Navis twice and plan to come again soon.

The location is excellent, in the center of the city and close to attractions. The building is in Austro-Hungarian style, elegant and grand, and the breakfast is good.

Looks older from outside, pretty good once inside. Very tiny room but clean. The bed was very small I offer to pay for an upgraded but I was told there are no vacancies. Which was not entirely true when I checked out early morning, there room accreoa mine was open, and empty. I took a peak andx and a picture. See attached, that is what it should have looked like. The pictures pictures on the booking sites are probably taken with a wide lens, it makes everything look bigger and wider. Good trick. Shower was another problem, no pressure and the wall shower head holder was so way high up on the wall. Not an issue for me to reach up to it but an average person will never get to it. My issue was that it was broken so I had to use one hand shower routine which I hate. Why don't they check ands repair these ahead of time? Parking free in front of the hotel, location is prime 10 minutes walking to the core and breakfast was good. I asked for fried eggs, only scrambled at the buffet, they made it for me. The shower ands the size of the room and bed got the stars down from me.

His is a review of tow hotels: the one in which you sleep; the other in which you eat, drink, and watch the world go by. The first hotel is pretty dreary--a Titoesque relic from the good old Cold War days--spartan ill-lit, a place to hurry from. The second hotel--the ground floor where Reception nis, the restaurants, the outdoor cafe, the river running alongside the hotel, , the tree-shaded park, the people watching, the downtown bustle, and the server staff is delightful. . The kitchen is excellent (pastas, and seafood especially). the wait staff friendly, although their English is very limited. The hotel itself is a gorgeous relic of a 1880s Austro-Hungarian gilded age. I was an inadvertent guest at the hotel for 16 days while mu wife lay nearly comatose hospital with a brain injury. She survived. So did I.

The overall experience was really bad. I will try to give as much details as possible, so that it is helpful to more future hosts. BOOKING. We asked information by email a couple of days before our foreseen stay, and we were kindly given all the information and a foreseen price (about 140€ for one night, two adults and a baby cot + parking). We were instructed to book on the hotel's website, where the final price was lower (about 118€ all included). I booked, and sent the receipt by email. The hotel replied saying that, baby cot was not incluided, so I would have to pay additional 7€/night. CHECK IN. We arrived at the foreseen check in time. Apparently there were some internal miscommunications on which room the baby cot have been set up, so we had to change room number... Minor problems, but we also discovered there that the bar/restaurant presented as a nice asset of the hotel was unavailable to guests for that day and evening, due to a private party. No communication whatsoever at the moment of the booking. For us, it was a bummer and a considerable discomfort. Other guests were also compayining but the personnel did not seem to understand, not to appreciate the fact that this should be communicated in advanced. ROOMS. Rooms are small, but it is part of the boat experience I guess. However, black mold spots in the bathroom should not be. NIGHT. The private party at the bar restaurant on the boat was very, very loud and would last untile 2 am. When I complained, the lady at the information desk just replied ”I mean, it is a wedding party, what do you expect!”. However, we were located on a deck that was not so affected by the noise, that in the end was tolerable. But, several of the rooms around ours hosted students is some kind of school trip. Between 9 and 11, they were roaming the corridors, totally usupervised, screaming, laughing... I mean, being kids on a school trip. off course, it was a problem for us, especially with a baby that is already sleeping at this time. We complained to the man at the desk several times, he tried to help but did not manage so much. The night manager was alerted and this character, with some kind of macho attitude, basically suggested that ”boys will be boys” and that we were the problem. Unpolite and totally useless, congrats man. In the end, around midnight they were able to locate the responsible adult (!!!) for the trip, that started shouting at the kids and so slowly the noise stopped... only to start again at 7, when they started to pack. When, the morning after, once again, we complained with yet another day manager, he said that the only thing he could do was to let us have the baby cot for free (that we were not supposed to pay). Again, very bad experience, never again Oh yes, BREAKFAST: food average, coffee and other beverages are machine made, so not that good.
