Hotel's location is very convenient, next to the station and lots of shops in nearby, including wide variety of restaurants.
Hotel room is spacious for a family of 3, comfortable
There is hot spring and you can go there anytime. Both indoor and outdoor, providing relaxing and refreshing choices
Hotel staff are very friendly, helpful and some of utilities are available in lobby for individual need
Here's part of the lobby, decorated with Christmas vibes
Hotel is located near the art museum and next to a beautiful beach with a wonderful sea view. There are two onsen and both are good. And there are several restaurants serving Japanese and French cuisines. The prices are reasonable and we enjoyed a wonderful French Kaiseki. The resort is well managed and guests are warmly greeted and helped with luggage on arrival and departure. It’s highly recommended.
Older style but everything is well maintained just like most Japan hotel. Nothing to complaint about, just sleep over for us. But I imagine it’s very convenient as it’s at the JR station, we drove so it makes no difference but nearby parking isn’t as expensive as JR station in more developed city. Food option is plentiful nearby though so that’s great for late night supper.
The hotel is very close to the prefectural office, which gives a strange sense of security 😅. If you're coming from the JR station, you'll need to take a bus or a taxi. For a regional city in Japan, the room was surprisingly spacious. There's a Lawson convenience store right across the street.
Quiet location, good room environment, free hot and cold drinks
But the reception is on the first floor, and it will be hard to have luggage,
But the elevator on the floor can go directly to the ground
We’re a family travelling with 3 kids so we booked 2 corner rooms for the needed space.
1) We were given 2 corner rooms at opposite ends of the floor, so we had to walk up & down & up & down the corridor to pass stuff to one another, so that was a bit inconvenient. The hotel refused at first to give us a 2nd key card saying that only 1 is allowed.
2) The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy but the pillows were very flat, so we requested for more pillows but they still didn’t provide much support. There was an electric small leg massager in room.
3) The sink in the toilet was v low, so adults wld have to bend over a bit more. But bathing area & shower was spacious and comfortable.
4) Hotel location was right next to JR, and lots of food options so it was great as we didn’t do hotel breakfast. There is no drop off point for cars or taxis at the hotel as the hotel lobby is on 3rd floor of building.
5) We drove a 7 seater car(to accommodate luggages) so the roof was too high & had to be parked at a Times public carpark 2 mins away that we paid for.
6) All in all, a recommended hotel in Tokushima & we would return to stay again due to central location & shopping areas all reachable on foot.
This is only information about my own room, but there were stains and holes in the wallpaper, which bothered me a little.
There are sufficient free amenities (toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, cotton swabs, laundry bag, razor, hair dryer), so it's not a problem if you don't mind.
There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, so the location is convenient.
The staff were also friendly.
It's too far to walk from Tokushima Station, but it takes 10 minutes by bus. However, the bus doesn't run until after 9 o'clock, so it's a bit difficult to stay out late at night. I like everything except the location. The room is clean and spacious, and the breakfast is delicious. The area is quiet, so it's good for getting some rest.
It was a small city, so I didn't expect it, but it was close to the station and taxi access was available from the airport.
Breakfast and facilities were good and bath was available after 5 pm at the hotel next door.
The room was cleaned every day and the staff were very friendly.
If you visit again, you will stay again.
The location is close to station with a plenty of food options. There is also a small shopping centre next to it.
The room itself is a decent size, you can open luggages comfortably. Amenities such as toothbrush and pajamas are provided nearby the front desk. There is a microwave downstairs for guest use and some vending machines.
The staff doesn't speak much English but they use a translator device so it is okay. We got a non smoking room but it smelled smoky, so we requested a change of room from the female staff on shift, and she was able to act on it quickly despite the language barrier. I commend the good service.
Lastly, if you're a light sleeper you may be careful because the walls are thin and you can pretty much hear anything from the hallways. Wear some earplugs and you'll be fine!

JJeremy T (JT)Very very good place to stay, especially if you're in Iya. Highly recommended and it's so near iya bridge that you can drop by early while there's NOONE. But very strict on timing so 3pm check-in but you can walk around. Very good dinner and local breakfast. Room was awesome!
Just stay here, will stay here again! Onsen was good too!

GGuest UserThe front desk staff was very friendly and the parking lot was quite spacious with 7-Eleven across the street, so the location was good.
The boat dock where you can see the whirlpools of Naruto Bridge is about 12 to 15 minutes away by car, and in my case, the whirlpools came out once at 9:00 and once at 9:30 the next morning, so
I had to stay as close as possible.
If the whirlpools come out in the afternoon, it doesn't matter, but if you come out early in the morning, this accommodation seems to be the best place to stay considering the time.

GGuest UserVery central location near the train station, still quiet. Very friendly, competent staff, rooms large ! , very clean. A small, fine hotel.
Breakfast - excellent, large selection, western as Japanese, stylish atmosphere - is not offered directly in the hotel Agnes but in the nearby, about 100 m, ”Motherhouse”. Also the Onsen is not directly in Agnes but in the also Related hotel directly from Agnes, about 15 m from the street, railway station, shops, bus station in about 250 m distance. For me in terms of price / performance an optimal hotel. I felt very well there and would stay there anytime again.
GGuest UserGreat food, great onsen
We stayed in a two-storey cottage, great for having a group of friends staying!
The staff even gifted me an indigo bag and a greetings in English at the end of our stay
Feel so warm and being cared in this hotel
Hope more people can see the warmth in Shikoku’s people ☺️🤍
