We just wanted to gently highlight one small thing — the air conditioner was very cold, which was good, but the sound was a bit loud (bunyi terlalu kuat). Other than that, everything was great.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and truly appreciate the excellent service.

We had a pleasant stay at Swiss Avenue Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was quite good. The only downside was that one of the bath towels had a visible stain. Other than that, everything was fine and we were satisfied with our stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful view, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Parking was very convenient and easily accessible for customers, which is a big plus. The receptionist was exceptionally helpful and professional, always ready to assist with any questions.
Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Booked seaview room. Perfect business gateway and of course family gateway. Can relax and enjoy swimming pool, beach and sunset after hectic meeting. with this kind of facilities, makes me missed my children and family because the facility really families friendly. The food was not many choices but fair enough as u can have breakfast by sea with such a nice view.

Hotel staff were patient and approachable always with a smile.
Hotel room is clean and with adequate amenities .
Location very accessible close to a mall next door and local eateries and a 24 hour sundry store. There's a nice hip cafe ”sea you” that open after 6 pm just next to your hotel serving local food and pasta.

Hotel is in a good location. But it’s old and not very well maintained. Also service is quite bad.
Bed container a lot of hairs, so they had to clean it again after our arrival. But getting them to do it took some convincing at the reception.
The door to next room is very open (you can see the light) so you can hear everything in the other room.
Elevators are very worn down. Breakfast is the same every day and not a lot of options. Tables were cleared slowly, so not many places to sit during the busiest hours.
Our shower did not work. No hot water. And barely any water pressure. It took going to the reception 4 times over 2 days before we got someone to help us. Every time they said they will send an engineer, but he never came.
The hot water was a unlabeled switch that needed to turn on. For the low water pressure they said we were just unlucky to be at the 4th floor. They said they could not do much about it. So I feel sorry for people on higher floors.
In the end all our issues were fixed. But it took a lot of asking and convincing, thus a lot of time I could not spend with family or at the beach.

Hhoushou85Initially we are curious because we never been outside the langkawi mainland. In our trip here, i think we are the only malaysian there, but the hospitality given to us both were beyond words. Amenities, room, location and food were perfect. For a nature lovers like us, i think is good place to run away from busy life in city.
Just be aware with the boat schedule, and plan your trip ahead. You can stay in the island whole day, but its depend on your type of holiday that you seek.
I definitely would come back again.

AAbbygel1514I stayed at this hotel in Langkawi during my trip with my husband, and the place was truly stunning. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so peaceful and beautiful. I stayed there only for a night including with breakfast. The room was very nice, the bed was extremely comfortable, and I honestly regretted that we only stayed for one night. Waking up to such a breathtaking view was an experience on its own—the scenery around the hotel was absolutely amazing.
One of my favourite parts of the resort was the beautiful swimming pool located right in the middle. It added so much charm to the place and made the whole environment feel even more relaxing and luxurious. Sitting by the pool and taking in the surroundings felt like a dream. I would say this was my favourite stay on my whole vacation there.
That said, the journey to the resort was a bit challenging. The road leading up was quite confusing and honestly a little scary, as the resort is located at the top of a hill. Driving up from the bottom felt intense, and the pathway could definitely be improved. But once we reached the resort and stepped inside, it felt like entering heaven. The atmosphere, the view, and the comfort completely made up for the drive.
Despite the challenging road, the experience was totally worth it. I truly fell in love with the place, and next time I visit Langkawi, I’ll definitely make sure to stay there longer.

AAshly ArdenI felt that I was treated differently as a local Malaysian guest. It seemed that foreign guests received noticeably better attention and service.
During my 6 days and 5 nights stay, I only had breakfast once, even though it was included in my room package. Unfortunately, that experience was disappointing. When I asked for an omelette, I was not acknowledged at all, while foreign guests received prompt and attentive service.
During check-out, the receptionist did not even say “thank you.” For management’s reference, you may verify this through the CCTV footage if needed. I admit I said “cepat sikit,” and perhaps she was unhappy with that, but that should not be a reason to withhold basic courtesy.
I paid around RM5,000 for the room and I expected a higher level of service and hospitality throughout my stay. Room 1218 ( 29/10 - 3/11)
On a positive note, the F&B and housekeeping teams were excellent — they were friendly, attentive, and provided genuinely warm service, which I truly appreciated.

I really enjoyed my stay at this resort! The pool is huge and very clean — I swam for almost 3 hours each day during my 2-night stay 🤭.
My pool access room was super comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed. I also loved that there’s a bathtub!
A few small suggestions for improvement:
1. It would be great to have street lights at the junction leading to the resort.
2. Adding a clear sign at the entrance would help, especially at night or during rainy weather.
3. Breakfast was okay overall. The English-style options were good, but the local dishes like fried kuey teow, fried vermicelli, and nasi lemak could use a bit more flavour.
Overall, I had a pleasant and relaxing stay — definitely a resort I’d love to come back to! 🌴💦

GGuest UserThe chalet is located by a quiet beach near other resorts. It is unlike the other neighbouring beach which is full of tourists. Here you can enjoy privacy and quietness . We stayed in water chalet at the upper floor unit. Once entering the surrounding you will feel like you are in ancient Japanese or Korean past decade. It is a truly amazing experience. The room furniture is sturdy and well maintained. The outside and the inside really match my taste. The water chalet is unique and relaxing. I will sure book again.
The only thing I would like to raise for improvement is the stairs to go up the unit . It is very dark and the light will only be turned on at night at 7.00pm. Under the staircase you will see mass.
Other than these everything is okay.

I had an amazing stay at The Riyaz Lavanya Langkawi! The sea view room was absolutely breathtaking — from the balcony, I could see the entire Pantai Cenang coastline, especially during sunrise and sunset. The view alone made the trip unforgettable!
The room was spacious, modern, and very clean, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The location is perfect — close to the beach, shops, and great local restaurants, yet still peaceful and relaxing.
I highly recommend booking the sea view room — it’s definitely worth it for the stunning panoramic view of Pantai Cenang. I’ll surely come back again for another relaxing getaway! 🌴✨

AAnonymous UserThe location of this hotel is outstanding. It is right at the end of the beach, giving the feeling that the entire stretch of sand belongs to you. It is quiet, and ideal for relaxing, especially for families. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the prices are on the expensive side for what is offered overall.
Unfortunately, the hotel’s biggest weakness is its organisation and internal communication. Apparently different departments do not communicate well with one another. During check-in, there was a long queue at the reception despite five staff members being present, yet only two were actually assisting guests. As a result, we waited far longer than necessary. Only after I told them that they need to help each other out, did they start accelerating the check-in process.
A more serious issue occurred on our third day when the safe box in our room ran out of battery. I informed reception and was told someone would come shortly. After waiting 30 minutes, I called again, then waited another 15 minutes, and finally had to go to reception for the third time. In total, nearly two hours of our holiday were wasted waiting for a simple battery replacement.
The restaurant, however, was a clear exception. Mr Azizi deserves special mention for his professionalism and attentiveness. From the first day until the end of our stay, he regularly checked on us and genuinely tried to help. When I mentioned the safe box issue to him, he was the one who finally stepped in and made things happen. Thanks to his supervision, the restaurant ran smoothly and efficiently. BTW, it’s worth mentioning that breakfast is amazing, with a variety of delicacies.
Sadly, the same cannot be said for the beach bar. Orders were frequently forgotten, even after payment. Waiting 30–40 minutes for drinks and then being told they were simply forgotten was frustrating and disappointing.
Another sign of poor coordination was the bracelet policy. For the first two days, no one mentioned that guests were supposed to wear bracelets. From the third day onwards, security staff on the beach began checking and questioning us daily, which again points to a lack of communication at reception.
The room itself was decent. Due to the humid climate, there was a slight smell, which is quite common in this region and something we also experienced in Thailand, so this was not a major issue.
Overall, I can recommend this hotel for its excellent location and family-friendly atmosphere. However, considering the price and the ongoing organisational problems, I do not feel it offers good value for money. On a positive note, Grab makes it easy to get around, and the main hotspot area is only about 2-2.5 km away.
