The vehicle was in good condition, but I wish it were cleaner, as the windshield wasn't perfectly clean when I picked it up, making the view ahead less comfortable while driving. I booked a Toyota SUV online and was given a Mazda CX-5 when I picked it up. It was my first time driving this model, and I enjoyed it quite well. The fuel consumption was a bit high, and the overtaking power was a bit lacking, but otherwise, it was quite good. Picking up and returning the car were both at the airport, which was very convenient, and the staff were very friendly. I'd definitely consider renting with this company again.

The car is in good condition, but unfortunately it's not the expected Toyota RAV4. It's a Ford Escape, and you can return it with a full tank of gas. Compared to gas prices in the national park, it's a good deal, but higher than in the suburbs of Calgary. When you return the car with full insurance and a full tank of gas, you can easily pick it up.

I received the car right away without waiting. While driving in Banff, a rock flew over the windshield, cracking it. Fortunately, I had full coverage insurance, so I simply filled out a report and returned the car without having to pay any deductibles. It was a 30,000 km vehicle. I reserved a Toyota RAV4, but they didn't have one, so I was offered a Nissan Rogue. I wanted a hybrid, so I wanted a RAV4, but when I saw the car after washing it, it was an LE grade AWD, so it wasn't a hybrid, but the 16 km/h trip was shown on the trip report.

The female employee who checked in when I picked up my rental car was a bit rude. When I returned the car, the inspector was concise, clear, and friendly. Other than that, I had no issues whatsoever. They upgraded me to a larger vehicle than I had reserved, but that did mean I had to pay a bit more for gas. Thanks to this, I was able to travel the Rocky Mountains with my family in a comfortable, large vehicle.

What do I need to bring with me to pick up my car rental?

A credit card is required for car rentals. A credit card must be used for car rental online payments, and is required to pay the deposit at pick-up.

Yes, you need to pay a deposit at pick-up to protect against damage and loss. The deposit is payable when you arrive at the branch for pick-up. The deposit amount is decided by the rental supplier; please contact your rental supplier directly if you have any related queries. The deposit amount will be frozen on the main driver's credit card for the duration of the rental period.
