I chose the Meihao Lizhi Hotel for my business trip this time, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Check-in was very efficient, and staff member Elena had a gentle demeanor, without being overly enthusiastic to the point of awkwardness. The room was thoroughly cleaned, with no unpleasant odors, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The hot water and water pressure were consistently good. The hotel also includes breakfast, afternoon tea, and a complimentary late-night noodle dish. It's conveniently located just a 5-minute walk across from Guangzhou East Station. The bedding was comfortable, and there were various pillow options, leading to a good night's sleep. The hotel's amenities are very practical; the afternoon tea and late-night noodles are nice perks. There's also a free gym and laundry room, which are very useful for business travelers. The location is convenient for getting around, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. While not particularly stunning, everything was up to par, offering good value for money. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

This hotel boasts an incredibly convenient location. Right downstairs, you'll find a lively pedestrian street and a large shopping mall, making dining and shopping incredibly easy. I stayed in a high-floor room, which offered expansive views of the city skyline – truly a fantastic sight. The front desk staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, making the check-in process efficient and thoughtful. The room itself was very clean and tidy, with well-maintained facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay. Overall, it was a highly satisfying experience.

The decor is that minimalist yet luxurious style, with warm lighting and wooden tones creating an amazing ambiance. No need for filters when taking photos 📸~ The room was super spacious! The bedding was so soft and fluffy, like sleeping on a cloud ☁️. I fell into a deep sleep in 3 seconds 💤, and woke up the next day with no backaches or sore muscles – a dream come true for a working professional! 🙌 As someone who pays attention to details, I absolutely loved it! 👏 The bathroom had a super clean wet and dry separation, and the toiletries had a citrus scent 🍊. After washing my hair, it was so smooth I could film a commercial! Plus, there were smart curtains and Xiaodu voice control – just say ”turn on the lights” and the whole room brightens up. Full of tech! 💡 What touched me the most was the service!! The front desk lady was as gentle as a best friend 👭, proactively asking if I needed a specific pillow type and even sending welcome fruits 🍇! I left my charger when checking out, and they immediately helped me retrieve it after I called. Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen truly lives up to its reputation as a service supreme hotel. Not only is it the highest Mandarin Oriental in Shenzhen, but the service throughout my stay was impeccable. I was thrilled to find out on this business trip that I was staying at the same hotel as my idol, Mr. Andy Lau! Enjoying breakfast on the soaring 78th floor felt like being in a fairyland. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, and the turndown service was as thoughtful as ever. Room service was very responsive. The welcome fruit was fresh and seasonal, and knowing my child enjoyed it, they sent another portion early the next morning. The family-friendly setup was warm and appropriate, and the kids' activities were a lot of fun. Finally, the checkout staff were very polite, escorted me all the way downstairs, and had a record of all my previous requests. I'm sorry I didn't catch their name, but I want to give them a big thumbs up here! It truly is my favorite hotel. While there are many luxury hotels, I particularly adore this one with its oriental charm. Mandarin Oriental will always be my first choice from now on! My only regret this time was that due to limited availability, I couldn't get an upgrade, and also, the welcome music was no longer ”Kangding Love Song.”

So comfortable! The room felt a bit bigger than typical family rooms, and the floor-to-ceiling windows were lovely. Especially at night, it was so cozy. The front desk lady was very gentle too. Staying near the South Station with a shuttle service was super convenient. The treadmill in the gym was pretty good as well. I slept soundly for two nights. The bamboo in the bathroom was a nice design touch. It almost felt like bamboo was growing on my head while I was on the toilet!

A perfect stay experience. The room style, hotel location, restaurant food – everything was excellent. No other hotel in Guangzhou around the 2k price range can compare. Every day when I returned after a concert, the room had already been cleaned and the turndown service prepared. The pool and jacuzzi experience was also fantastic, and every staff member I encountered was very attentive. The only minor drawback was a slight musty smell in the room carpet, but after I reported it to the hotel, they immediately arranged for two air purifiers. They even helped coil up my charging cables. I love everything about this place. Being able to extend check-out to 2 PM due to a flight delay was a lifesaver. From now on, whenever I come to Guangzhou, I will only choose the Mandarin Oriental.

Had a very pleasant stay at Yizhi Hotel, Taikoo Li Zhujiang New Town. We arrived in the wee hours and the check-in was smooth and hassle-free, which was a big plus after long journey. The room and toilet were clean, tidy and, most importantly, no unpleasant smell. They provide the necessary disposable toiletries too. The bathroom layout was also very practical — the shower and toilet are in two separate areas. The shower has really good water pressure, and the toilet flushing system is strong too. A special mention to 晴晴 (Qing Qing), who was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. When we had an issue with the Wi-Fi in the room, she followed up with us via WeChat and even arranged for a technician to come and check it. The location is excellent! Shipaiqiao Metro Station is literally next to the hotel, making it super convenient to get around Guangzhou. There are also big shopping malls nearby (left,right and opposite side), so shopping and dining are just a short walk away. Another big plus is the row of eateries and cafés just behind the hotel, including McDonald’s — very handy if you have children or suddenly feel hungry late at night. There are also plenty of food choices along the side of the hotel, so definitely won’t go hungry. And one feature I really appreciated — the laundry room! There are clean washing machines and dryers, plus a standing ironing board. The room and machines are well maintained as the staff have a regular schedule to keep the area clean. Best of all, the laundry facilities are FREE for in-house guests! 🙌🏻 Definitely a bonus, especially for longer stays. Another fun and useful touch is the delivery robot! If you order food or have a small delivery, the robot can bring it up to your room, so you don’t have to go down to the lobby to collect it. Very convenient, especially when you’re tired or already in your pyjamas! The only minus point: the lift can take a little longer to arrive, especially during busy periods. So just be prepared to wait a little. Overall, a very comfortable, clean and convenient stay with friendly service and lots of thoughtful facilities.

The room was absolutely fantastic! There were two adorable little cats, and the lobby facilities were excellent too, with a laundry room, a gym, and a self-service breakfast area. The surrounding environment was lovely, and the room's cleanliness was top-notch; it was very clean and had large windows.

The hotel rooms are clean and well-equipped; my room even had a projector! There are also small balconies with a table—perfect for chatting in the morning or evening. By the way, the view is quite nice for a hotel located on the upper floors; they’ve set up a small park on the 18th floor, which looks lovely. Another plus is the toilet—unusual for China—featuring a heated seat and even a bidet! I tried it for the first time ever, and it was great. Also, there are no key cards for room access; everything works via a PIN code provided through WeChat (along with the Wi-Fi details). I’m not sure if that’s a pro or a con, but it’s something to keep in mind. As for the downsides: there are no complimentary water bottles to drink or take with you on the go. However, there is a kitchen (not in every room) with a tap featuring a built-in water filter—which is also a rarity. The hotel’s location is a bit tricky, though they have tried to put up signs. If you’re arriving by metro, finding the right elevator in the tunnels takes some effort—it’s easy to get confused and lose your way.
