Had a wonderful stay at Pacific Hotel Cairns. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the city with easy access to the Esplanade, night markets, and fun attractions like the Ferris wheel. Everything is within walking distance, which made exploring Cairns so easy and enjoyable. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Evenings around the area are lively, with great food options nearby street food vibes, and a beautiful atmosphere. Overall, a great place to stay if you want comfort, convenience, and to truly enjoy the Cairns experience. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel room was clean, spacious, and clearly recently renovated. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage safely in a locked baggage room. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with clean and very attractive pool areas surrounded by lush plants. In the early evening, you can even see fruit bats flying over the property, which adds a special touch to the atmosphere. The hotel is a bit further away from the city centre, but only 15min from the airport.

We stayed at Chinchilla Motor Inn as a family and had a fantastic experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained — perfect for a family stopover. A special mention to the lovely lady at reception who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone passing through or staying in Chinchilla!

Great hotel. Took me a while to figure out how to use the tv. The pool was great although on the cooler side. Half the lights in the pool room didn’t work so half was quite dark. I didn’t like it but it didn’t stop me swimming The view from the room was stunning

View from the room looks really good. It is 1km walking distance to everything including bars restaurants ferry supermarket and public swimming pools. 1 dollar day pass bus is available and there is a stop behind the hotel. But if you do not want to walk for hundreds meters or 1km, the location is not good for you.

Lovely location. Clean and comfortable. Nice amenities in the bathroom and tea/coffee with nice little tooth of biscuits. Restaurants close by with nice riverside walk and setting. Furniture a little dated but did not detract from the nice large room. Would definitely recommend for an airport stay.

Lovely hotel located at the other end of the Esplanade. The broad walk at the back of the hotel was nice to stroll along and an easy way to get to the city center. Kudos to the reception staff, Riccardo for leaving a really good first impression when I first arrived. He was so clear in explaining everything I needed to know before I checked in, and subsequent days when I saw him he was also really helpful with whatever requests I had. The room was big and spacious, very comfy beds!! The housekeeping staff were also friendly whenever I saw them as I head out for the day. Food from the room service was tasty. However, the breakfast buffet options were almost the same everyday though, wish there could have been more variety. But overall, I still had a rather pleasant stay here(:

Had an Studio Apartment and it was fully equipped as an Apartment could be, plenty of restaurants within a kilometre and the City starts not much further, with a local station only around 400 meters away, far enough that it could not be heard.

The reception staff are helpful. I stayed in a bungalow room this time, but in Cairns where prices are high, the price is quite reasonable. The beds were comfortable. Shower is shared. There is a laundry and a place to hang laundry on site. There was a pool but the water was dirty. Many campers were stopped. It takes less than 10 minutes on foot to the nearest bus stop, and it costs about $ 3 to the city in about 5 minutes from the bus stop. Walking to the city, but less than an hour. There are no shops around, so you can shop at a supermarket in the city. Drinks are sold at the front desk. Be careful as the walk from the bus stop is dark at night.

We just stayed the night with hotel Diana as I had eye surgery and needed to go back the next day to see the Dr as we were from Toowoomba. Only 3 mins drive from the eye institute. Our room was very nice. Clean everything very good.
