4-Star Hotels in Guangdong, China

This is a peculiar hotel with reception on the 1st floor and the front desk and restaurant on the 5th floor. It was my first time booking a Hampton suite, and I was quite surprised. There was only a TV partition wall instead of a solid wall, but the view was truly excellent, and my little one loved it. A big shout-out to Auntie Zhu from housekeeping! Seeing we had a baby, she proactively brought us toothbrushes, slippers, a bathtub liner, and a toilet seat cover. More importantly, she was incredibly polite and made us feel right at home. The only downside was that the restaurant downstairs was quite noisy at night, and I could hear it from my room, which I didn't like.

I had an excellent experience at Hampton by Hilton Shenzhen. The front office team was very helpful during check-in, accommodating my early arrival and also assisting with a late check-out. They communicated clearly in English, which made everything smooth and hassle-free. Special thanks to Tina for her helpful and friendly service during the check-out and the complimentary farewell gifts The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was especially good—I’m quite a fussy sleeper, but I slept very well here. A lovely added touch was the complimentary refreshments for guests, including cookies, popcorn, coffee, and tea. The hotel’s location is also a big advantage, with plenty of restaurants offering a wide variety of food nearby. It’s also just a short 10-minute walk to Huaqiangbei, making it very convenient for shopping. Overall, a great stay with excellent service, comfort, and location. I would definitely return.

This was a self-planned trip, and I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The hotel service was exceptional. Xiao Pan was consistently warm and welcoming, always greeting guests with a friendly smile. Their professionalism and approachable manner truly stood out, leaving a lasting impression. The hotel’s location is very convenient, with easy access to transportation, making it effortless to get around. The room was well-equipped, clean, and provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

Very satisfied. I had an early flight the next morning, and they thoughtfully assigned me a room on the second floor near the elevator. They also offered a free airport shuttle service. I left in a hurry and forgot my charger, which the front desk staff kindly reminded me about when I was getting my invoice.

Staying at the Hampton by Hilton during my trip to Shaoguan was great. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bedding was cozy. The only downside was that our twin room faced the road, so there was some noise at night. On the bright side, the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options.

The room decor was lovely and beautiful. However, there were two very serious issues: 1. The top floor supposedly had a paint smell, so they had the extractor fan on. The noise was incredibly loud, and nobody told me about it. After I called to ask, the fan was turned off, and the world became silent. Do they even consider their guests' comfort? 2. The shower drain noise was unbeatable. The sound of water gushing was louder than flushing a toilet. If someone showered at night, I felt like I was living in a waterfall.

This was my first time visiting Meizhou, and after comparing many hotels, I ultimately chose the Hampton by Hilton Meizhou Meijiang Caisheng Center. The hotel just opened last year, so the facilities are new and the environment is upscale and grand. The location is superb, right next to Wanda Plaza, making it very convenient for getting around and shopping. The front desk and staff were warm, thoughtful, and provided excellent service. The breakfast spread was extensive, with fresh and delicious dishes that left me very satisfied. The experience was fantastic, five stars! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Meizhou.

This hotel exceeded my expectations for our road trip! What impressed me most was the abundance of parking spaces; even when we returned very late at night, we always found a spot easily. The spaces were also wide, which was a huge plus for someone like me driving an SUV. Not having to worry about finding parking made the whole trip so much more relaxed. Additionally, the front desk service was warm and welcoming, the room was clean and tidy, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very comfortable rest. I highly recommend it to all road-trippers; it's definitely a top-notch choice for accommodation!

This hotel is located near the Convention and Exhibition Center and has two buildings. The breakfast is just okay, not a huge selection but enough to fill you up. The decor is a bit dated, but it's clean and tidy. My room had a window and wasn't very big, but the service was excellent.

The location is fantastic, right by Qijiang Bridge, making it super convenient to walk to all the main attractions downtown. There are plenty of great food options nearby too. The hotel opened in 2024, so the facilities are well-maintained and still feel quite new. Atour's quality definitely shines through; it was a very comfortable stay. The cleanliness was good, and the shower had great water pressure. A small, pleasant surprise was when I went to do laundry in the morning and forgot to pick it up – when I opened my door later to leave, I found it had already been brought up and hung on the door. Excellent service! Highly recommend for both leisure and business trips to Zhongshan.
