YYoupangzineThey say true seclusion can be found amidst the hustle and bustle. Yin She Hotel, despite being in the incredibly popular Jiangnanxi business district, offers a peaceful retreat tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood. (Be aware that the community has one-way streets, so drive carefully. The hotel has parking for up to 6 cars.) It's less than a 5-minute walk to Metro Line 2, making it convenient to get anywhere in Guangzhou. In just 5 minutes, you can also reach the large shopping mall, R&F Haizhu City, and explore the charming indie shops and cafes in Qingfeng Community.
The hotel boasts a serene, minimalist, and elegant style. They even have a robot that delivers takeaways and other items to guest rooms. Standard rooms overlook a canal, while the king-bed rooms face the residential area with pleasant tree-shaded views. The rooms are bright, and the decor and facilities are relatively new. There's a gym and laundry room on the 3rd floor, and I heard there's a swimming pool too. (During the rainy season, I recommend asking the front desk for a room on the 4th floor or higher, as the 3rd floor can be prone to Guangzhou's notorious dampness.) I highly recommend trying the hotel's breakfast – it's exquisite and delicious. I especially loved the cookies! Kudos to the pastry chef, they were fantastic. The hotel even gives you cookies as a parting gift when you check out, which made this foodie very happy! 😊 The restaurant is on the 9th floor with an open-air terrace, and the ambiance is bright and welcoming.
One night, my child was hungry, but I didn't want him to have a late-night snack. I explained the situation to the front desk, and the lady immediately prepared some homemade cookies from the kitchen and had the robot deliver them. It was incredibly thoughtful.
Overall, I'd say it's less suited for business entertaining but absolutely perfect for friends, families, or solo travelers. It's a small, exquisite, and beautiful hotel.
