Location is good, right in the centre & within walking distance to eateries & shopping. Close nearby there’s the Hin Depot, it’s like a weekend flea market. Hotel Service was great, the room that i booked was rather small, city view facing but sun was strong and day time, was abit hot as room window facing the sun. Going green is good, and water dispenser is provided on every floor for our refill. Can i suggest the bottles provided to have a wider opening as when refilling was rather difficult to avoid any spillage, especially taking the hot water Hotel deco is very festive.

I had booked the room at a higher rate with breakfast. However, the booking ended up without meals (breakfast). I had a complaint that we broke the wash basin. On that day we left the room at 6 am and returned at 4 pm. We had used the wash basin before we left it was in good condition. Upon receiving a call from the hotel saying that we need to pay for the broken basin, we inspected the same to find the breakage which had occured in our absence. The cleaners also left a access key in the slot, which purportedly was to activate the air con in our absense. The Hotel had changed the room for us. Nothing was informed on the claim for the breakage when we checked out today

The hotel is a bit old, but the location is very convenient! Overall, the service was excellent, the room was spacious and clean, with a semi seaview that’s nice. Hotel staffs were very friendly. Upon check-in, customer service immediately called to check if the room was in good condition, which was very thoughtful.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The hotel is divided into two separate sections, each served by different elevators. The poolside area has direct access to a private beach below (however, it does not connect to the beach behind Flamingo Hotel). The beach is very clean, but swimming is not recommended due to the presence of jellyfish. That said, it’s still fine to enjoy the shallow water near the shore. The hotel itself is quite new and well-maintained. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the team was proactive in offering assistance throughout the stay. One minor drawback is that the parking area does not have direct elevator access to the lobby, which can be a bit inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage. Soundproofing is also slightly lacking, but overall it was still a good experience

The location is convenient for visiting morning markets, night markets, and durian stalls. It's a bit far to walk into George Town, so taking a taxi is the best option. The bedding and towels are clean and comfortable. The renovation smell varies among the three rooms, it's a matter of luck. The room my parents stayed in had a strong, eye-stinging smell when they first entered, but it became less noticeable after ventilation and air conditioning. The sink in the hallway had severe backflow and a terrible smell, so we basically didn't use it. We kept the stopper in and let it soak to block the odor. They don't clean the room unless you specifically ask the front desk. A deposit is required, and since we didn't have Malaysian Ringgit, we paid in RMB. Check-out was very slow, as they needed to inspect the room. When we checked out early in the morning, we were the only ones, and it took half an hour to complete the whole process for three rooms. In Malaysia, people typically go barefoot indoors, so no slippers are provided. If you don't like that, you'll need to bring your own.

Am impressed to be allowed for early check in at abt 1pm. Room was spacious and thank the hotel for the complimentary goodies that brought back my childhood memories. The breakfast offered a great varieties and tastes good too. Like the hotel location which is easily accessible to many places of attraction.

This hotel is located just outside the center of Georgetown, making it very convenient for getting around. There's a shopping mall and supermarket right next door, which is great for dining and shopping. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the service was very well-organized. Our room faced the sea, offering a really nice view. The hotel itself is a bit older, but the facilities are well-maintained, and the room was relatively quiet. We happened to be there during the major Indian festival, Thaipusam, and Magazine Road in front of the hotel was incredibly congested. I'm not sure if it's always like that, but if you're in a hurry, you'll need to call for a taxi at least 15 minutes in advance.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which really made the experience pleasant.

By far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed, staff were fried my and with polite attitude, one of the staff made initiative to approach me when I’m having difficulty on using the laundry machine. Clean and chic, had a best experience of staying there. Nearby has the famous bakery, massage place and walking distance to food streets and nice cafe. A friendly heads up that the hotel entrance is facing towards the Eastern Oriental Hotel as opposed to Kenny Hills bakery.

Indicated for birthday celebration, ignored remark, no service or extra wow service. Requested for bouquet to deliver to room upon receive, reception keep it till evening until we call to request and reception request guard to deliver to us. Overall hotel grade conventional hospitality. No wow service or beach grade 4 stars feel. Parking need to walk very far to next building of you reach on weekend and if there is event. Noisy and dirty beach due to abandoned wood branches and no maintenance
