Hotel Solar BOM Jesus was the perfect home base for my adventures in Madeira! đïž The location is unbeatable - just steps from the iconic BOM Jesus church and a short walk to the lively town center. My single room was cozy and spotlessly clean. đ The staff went above and beyond, always greeting me with a smile and quick to provide recommendations. The basic but well-appointed facilities had everything I needed. I'd happily stay here again on my next trip! đ
As you may ask me how my stay went, as you know we didn't go to Madeira, I made a mistake with the dates, I wanted March and not February and your answer was NO. I won't book anything with Trip.com anymore.
Nothing against Hotel Baleira. Many thanks to Patricia who did what she could.
Thanks
One of the best hotels I've ever been to. Perfectly clean, beautiful, super cozy! Delicious, and the freshest breakfast you can imagine. Convinient, quiet location. Absolutely ideal!
The Porto Santo Hotel & Spa is an excellent choice for those who seek rest and quiet. Although it is a modest hotel, it is extremely comfortable and comfortable. I emphasise especially the sympathy and availability of the staff, which makes the experience even more pleasant. And the beach bar? Just spectacular perfect to enjoy sunset with a drink in the hand. I recommend!
The location is not only conveniently situated but also offers stunning surroundings that enhance the overall experience. The facility itself is thoughtfully designed, combining modern amenities with a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that every guest feels comfortable and well-accommodated
Thanks to the beautiful and enthusiastic Miss Erica at the front desk, we have a perfect experience. Everything is very beautiful. The location of the hotel is super good. There are many delicious restaurants when you go out. There are four swimming pools here, one of which has a swimming pool directly to the sea. Itâs so beautiful. ïœ Very cost-effective
I arrived early in the morning and they had already a lot of room ready, have private parking that is very grateful in that area, as it is usually quite full of cars by the beach. The hotel was very comfortable and clean, had a gym, a terrace on the deck and on the floor 0 sauna, hammam and pool, I thought a little curiosity that was near the reception, but there was just noticed the entrance of other guests. The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable.
The location in front of the beach is perfect for sunset.
The location on the ocean is breathtaking and that is my main take away. Everything else was perfectly fine.
My only disappointment was the on site pools were closed during our stay. Was told they were being cleaned but I never saw any such activity.
Great hotel with its own spa area and beautiful natural pools right next to the beach. There are a lot of tourists in this region. I would recommend buying water etc. before checking in.
Highly recommended for the nightly price of around âŹ150-170. I wouldn't pay more than that though.
Great stay. We arrived late and the gentleman at the front desk was so kind and accommodating!! Would definitely recommend. Very convenient to airport!

Great
âVery pleasant stay at this spotless hotel by the seaside, right next to the natural pools. The staff were very attentive, with thoughtful daily gestures (welcome drinks, bottle of sparkling wine, etc.). The view from the rooms matches the photos. The small spa area is well maintained. Breakfast is rich in fresh local products. The restaurant offers dishes that are both generous and refined â a rare combination in the area.â
For a four-star hotel, the pillows is too bad, uncomfortable, maybe because it's the cheapest room? The toilet flushing noise is kinda loud, but it's quiet room after all. No electric kettle in the room, 2 euros for 1L mineral water. Nothing else to complain about. Clean and tidy, staff are friendly and professional, good service.
FFabianThe dining room -I was there for the breakfast- is an old one, not so inviting. The breakfast-selection is not so good, as a vegan or vegetarian you can't choose much (only beans & bread), the coffee is okay but not tasty, the juices are not fresh & sugary.
There is no big pot for cooking, for two persons it would be good to have one.
The bed is good, the fan does its job, the bathroom is big enough, the balcony practical.
The location is near to the busline, 30min to walk to the center & there is the Lido promenade (with some places to swim) to the next small city with a small light tunnel for pedestrians, there you can hear/see the surf :)
The opening times for the pool are too late in the morning and too short (8.00-20.00).
The female staff at the reception with the glasses (saturday evening), didn't manage my wake-up-call for the next morning (the staff at this day showed me that he had no notice for a call), thats not a good one, because sometimes you have to depend on it.
Hotel Review â Royal Orchid We had a lovely stay at the Royal Orchid. The hotel is beautiful, and our room offered a wonderful partial sea view with palm trees and the ocean in sight â truly relaxing. However, there is room for improvement, especially regarding breakfast. Many items were processed, such as canned pineapple and artificial juices, which did not meet our expectations for freshness and quality. The cleaningservice was was great, the overal service from receptuon was disappointing. The hotel enforces very strict rules, and the staff applies them even more rigidly. At times, it felt more like being in a school than on vacation. We would have appreciated a more customer-oriented and flexible approach, especially in a leisure setting. However we enjoyed our stay, the room and the spa.
JJoe the world citizenThis hotel is one of the three hotels. The reception is located at Hotel Rocamar, which is quite far. The room is spacious with a kitchenette, but the decor is a little simple and old-fashioned . The balcony is huge with a sea view. There is a hotel private parking area that costs 7.50 euros per night. Otherwise there are free parking on the street which is hard to find and paid parking which is free at night. The gym, swimming pool, sauna, and steam room are free of charge m, but they close at 6 pm, which is quite inconvenient. There are also many restaurants inside, which you choose to include with the room. I overheard that they did program for Christmas and New Year. It is perfect for those who just want to stay in the resort and not to go around the island.
