Quality Inn & Conference Centre Downtown Sudbury

I got bed bugs bite after the stay. It’s unfortunate but I feel like during my business travels, unless I am booking premium higher end hotels where it is at least $130-$150+ per night, there is about 20-30% chance that I wake up with bites.. i can never see them and everything always appears ok but you find out after the fact, a day or two later. My biggest question to hotels are do you guys wash ALL bed sheets, fitted sheets, pillow cases, blankets, covers etc after every single stay? I can probably bet my next paycheque that I wouldnt be surprised if that’s not the case with most lower end hotels and it’s quite alarming…

From the friendly check in… too the great room, clean and fresh to the checkout, all went smooth and we were very happy with our nights stay. Love Hampton Inns. Thanks to everyone for getting our vacation started on the right foot! We will be sure to tell everyone about this hotel! Cheers!
Super 8 by Wyndham Sudbury on
3.4/5112 Reviews
My son and I stayed at this Super 8 on the second night of our cross-Canada trip. Having left Central Alberta on Friday morning, we arrived at the Sudbury Super 8 late on Saturday evening after our second full day of driving. We were ready to go straight to sleep. At some point after we went to sleep, but before we woke up around 6am, the door opened and someone turned on the lights!!! The front desk gentleman had also assigned our room to a new guest just checking in, and she came directly into our room while we slept. We woke as soon as the lights turned on, and the lady was likely as shocked as we were, and she apologized and immediately left, but the fact she was able to unlock our door and walk into our room is clearly not acceptable. The next morning when we checked out, we complained to the gentleman at the front desk, who indicated that he was the one who assigned the room to the lady who had come in... but the part I was not at all happy with (not that I was happy with any of it) was that he did not seem very bothered by the fact he had given access to our room to another guest! Clearly this is NOT acceptable for a hotel! There were a couple other incidents that I could also include, but I think the anecdote above is enough reason for me to indicate that I will not be staying at this hotel again, should I ever be passing through Sudbury again.
TownePlace Suites Sudbury

The facilities of the hotel are hard to describe. We stayed for 6 days. False fire alarms, power outages, and network outages... If I had to choose, I would definitely not consider it, but my husband thinks the kitchen is not bad. The slide is also not suitable for young babies. Our baby has played twice before the lifeguard said he can't play. It's a pity for the baby. There are many varieties of breakfast, and there are too many people after 9 o'clock. There may be situations where some meals are out of stock and it is too late to make up. Forget the rest, the disconnection of the Internet cannot be tolerated. The room service is very good, I come to ask what I need every day.

Clean room, staff was nice and friendly. There isn’t much breakfast available (it was grab & go breakfast), but the hotel is located close to a lot of food chains and restaurants. The hotel is right next to a Dairy Queen, nice for food, but my room window was directly facing the drive thru, which was quite noisy. If you close the window and curtains the sound almost goes away. My room and a double bed, chair, desk, desk chair, and two wardrobes. Overall, it’s a good hotel for a night’s stay.
