4 stars for cleanliness because the non-smoking room smelt like cigarettes. But they gave us a different room without any hassles.

Really enjoyed our stay here the location was nice to far away from everything the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

After a very long day of travel I arrived at the hotel to find that I had made the reservation for the wrong night and they were sold out. I must have done something right that day because Linda the desk attendant told me that they actually had a no show. The problem was that I had made the reservation through a third party. Now Linda could have blown me off but she picked up the phone to help me out. It wasn’t easy and I had to go to the car and get my credit card. When I came back Linda was just walking out for a break. I said they are just going to cancel it. She turned around and went back behind the counter and took care of it. I am impressed and thankful that Linda was behind the counter last night. If I owned a hotel I would hire her to train the staff. Thanks Linda you saved the day. Actually the night!!!!

We stayed twice in April - going to and from the grandkids. The first stay was fine - although odd half size pillows prompted my wife to buy regular ones for the trip back, but there were normal pillows on the way back. On the way back were were disappointed with 1) left over sox in drawer, 2) half eaten stinky salad in the fridge, 3) placed next to another room with a dog and a pass door - our dog was trying to understand the dog smells for an hour or two....but most concerning of all, 4) during the evening and taking the dog out, we found 3 external doors which were propped open. We did not appreciate that from a safety standpoint. It's too bad since we really like the pet policy at the Kelly Inn....but we have to feel safe at our age!

Very close to the airport in Billings, the hotel's quaint log cabin structure is a good choice.

We were passing through from Yellowstone to Wyoming, and stayed one night. And a pleasant night it was. ROOMS: We were in a 5th floor room in the north corner, probably an odd layout being in the corner like that, but it was appointed very nicely, and quite comfortable. Shower had excellent pressure. Only minor quibbles were that the safe in the close was on an upper shelf, perfect for its open door to whack your head, and one side of the bed at the head was about five feet from the bathroom, making it not very private. 1st Avenue, unfortunately, is a pretty noisy street at night and early morning, and the A/C units behind the hotel made an audible hum in the room. But, again, we were very comfortable, and would willingly have stayed longer if we'd needed to. SERVICE: Both the desk staff and the valets were top-notch, friendly and helpful. AMENITIES: The hotel sports two restaurants: Bernie's Diner (breakfast and lunch), which was excellent, and TEN (bar and dinner) which was very good (and pricey). LOCATION: The hotel is in downtown Billings, so a bit of a drive from the interstate. The neighborhood is okay, not great. NET-NET: I'd certainly stay there again if I were passing through or visiting Billings. It's not cheap, but it was a nice stay.

Service was good for a last minute emergency trip.

Great 2 day stay. Room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. On suite bathroom was a little small, but adequate. We chose this stay because of its location to downtown within easy walking distance. Although the hotel is in the middle of a hospital/medical complex, it was quiet (no ambulance sirens) and seemed really safe. The property had plenty of free parking. Check in was quick and simple as was the check out. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Free Breakfast was decent in the morning and they had coffee and tea available all day along with popcorn at check in. Good reasonable cost stay for being downtown.
