Here is your review in clear and natural English: My overall stay at the hotel was partly positive. The service was good, and the staff were professional and friendly, which I truly appreciated. However, there was a serious issue with noise. The rooms next to mine were very noisy. I returned to my room around 3:00 AM, but early in the morning the neighboring guests left their door open and were talking and shouting loudly. Because of this, I was not able to sleep properly. I hope the hotel management will take stronger measures to control noise and ensure a quiet and comfortable environment for all guests. Thank you

The room was great. However, the telephone didn't work. The ventilation system in the bathrooms was so loud that it was impossible to sleep. When we checked out, we told the staff about it, but instead of apologizing, we were charged for three drinks that we had taken from the minibar.

The castle-view room was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking scenery. It was spacious enough for multiple travelers. The location was excellent; we could explore the old town in the morning and then come back for a rest. There were also many restaurants nearby. The breakfast was delicious, not a buffet, but you could order from the menu, and there was an outdoor terrace.

The hotel has a great location, the metro is within walking distance, at the end of Istiklal Street you can use the funicular to go down to the Galata Bridge and much more... From the new Istanbul airport, the Havaist 16 bus goes directly to the hotel.

Good choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Istanbul. Located in the heart of the Old City, just a short walk from many of the city's most popular attractions, such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace.

Hotel location is not in the old town but it is still in excellent location as it is next to Levent Subway station (M2) and it has 3 large shopping malls with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. There is also money-changer in one of the 3 malls, which is opened to 8pm. If you want familiar fast food, there is McDonald's and KFC opposite the hotel. Room and toilet are new and modern furnishings. Breakfast is the best amongst the hotels which stayed in our 13 days stay in Turkey. Wide variety of Turkish deserts, sweets, and local food for breakfast. There is mini-bar, safe, slippers, bathrobes, full range of toiletries. Hotel also modern gym. We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Highly recommend.

What was good: 01. The breakfast service was excellent. There weren't any particularly heavy dishes, and the menu was simple enough for a quick bite to eat. However, the fact that there were only two beverage options besides coffee could be improved. 02. The soundproofing was good. I couldn't hear anything from the next room. 03. The bathroom was clean and comfortable to use. What was not memorable was: 01. The staff member's expression was too gloomy during breakfast service. I believe it's the staff's responsibility to welcome everyone in the morning. 02. I don't know about the other rooms, but my room didn't have a personal safe. The check-in information clearly mentioned a safe, but I couldn't find one in my room no matter how hard I searched. 03. Trip.com listed a ”station pickup service” as part of the hotel's amenities. Because of the ambiguous distance, I walked to the hotel instead of taking a taxi. I asked about the ”station pickup service” via WhatsApp three days before check-in, but no one responded. If they had provided detailed information about the hotel's services—the ”pool,” ”station pickup service,” and ”steam room”—and their locations, I would have been able to fully enjoy the hotel as a first-time guest and have a more memorable experience.

The location is super convenient, very close to Taksim Square and Istiklal Avenue, and the port is just a 10-15 minute walk away. It's also very quiet at night once the windows are closed. We booked a sea view room, and initially, we were given one with a side view of the sea. After speaking with the staff, they moved us to a room with a much wider sea view. The breakfast spread is excellent, and the service staff are very enthusiastic. Both the front desk and the lobby doormen are polite and offer service with a smile, making you feel right at home.

The staff were warm, friendly and very accommodating. The only issue is when booking the UBER, the location sucks and drivers cannot stop at the main road right by the entrance door. They had to stop farther.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted good. The staff provided excellent service, proactively helping to bring food to our table. The front desk staff were efficient with both check-in and check-out, so we didn't have to wait long. The hotel's location is convenient; it's just a few stops on bus line 1 to the attractions. You can also walk to the Grand Bazaar and the famous Suleymaniye Mosque. Plus, it's a short walk to enjoy some Xinjiang cuisine.

MM.M.TI have stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Istanbul before, in 2017 and 2018, and unfortunately my recent stay was very different from those previous experiences. The hotel itself has changed noticeably. The lobby used to feel much bigger, and now it feels smaller, with shops added that weren’t there before. While the hotel still offers good dining options—including Nobu, an Italian restaurant, and a well-known Turkish restaurant—Nobu in particular feels small compared to other locations worldwide. We stayed during the New Year and winter season, and the hotel felt lacking in festive spirit. The decorations were very minimal: mainly an outdoor Christmas tree and a YSL light tree inside, with only basic décor scattered around. Compared to other hotels we stayed in during the same period, it did not feel festive or atmospheric at all. If you are looking for a strong holiday or seasonal theme, this hotel may not meet that expectation. This is purely based on the overall look and feeling. Upon arrival, no welcome drinks were offered, which was surprising for a Ritz-Carlton. We noticed other guests receiving welcome drinks while we did not. The check-in area is quite small and not suitable for handling large families or groups. There is also no proper waiting area, except for two chairs near the entrance. At check-in, we were informed that our three rooms were on different floors (2, 3, and 10), which was shocking since we had requested connected rooms or at least rooms close to each other. The rooms themselves varied greatly: • The 2nd-floor room had a terrace but was not family-friendly at all. When exiting the elevator, the area felt very dark due to the wallpaper colors, which my children described as “creepy.” • The 3rd-floor room was slightly better, but the window faced a plant wall, making it feel like a basement room. • The 10th-floor room had a partial Bosphorus view and was by far the best room of the three. Because of these issues, I contacted Trip customer service, and I would like to sincerely thank Maxence Cui for the hard work, patience, and dedication shown while assisting us. Maxence truly tried everything possible to help us in a very stressful situation, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. I could see that the Ritz-Carlton management was actively involved in the discussion. Eventually, Mr. Mohammed, the hotel manager, stepped in and handled the situation with kindness and professionalism. He made us feel welcome, encouraged us to stay, and offered to move the other two rooms to the same floor, which greatly improved our experience. Many thanks to him as well. After the room change, we were finally together as a family, with partial sea views and garden views. The room service food was excellent, which was one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, this stay was not the Ritz-Carlton experience we are used to from other locations around the world. While the situation improved thanks to the efforts of both Maxence Cui and Mr. Mohammed, it still did not fully meet our expectations. It was okay, but not the memorable luxury experience we associate with the Ritz-Carlton brand.

MM257848****This hotel boasts a distinctive Turkish design throughout. The building we stayed in had a small inner garden with a bar, which was lovely. Unfortunately, we visited in winter when it was too cold, so we couldn't truly enjoy the garden's ambiance. I imagine it would be very pleasant to sit there in the summer or when the weather is milder. The hotel's location is absolutely superb. It's about a 2-minute walk to Hagia Sophia, 2-3 minutes to the Blue Mosque, and 5-10 minutes to the Basilica Cistern. Most of the main attractions are concentrated nearby. We did almost all our sightseeing on foot: Hagia Sophia in the morning, then the Basilica Cistern, back to the hotel for a rest, off to a museum, another break in the room, and then the Blue Mosque. The entire itinerary felt very relaxed and convenient. You can also walk to the Grand Bazaar and Süleymaniye Mosque, so the location is a huge plus. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite, which was quite spacious and comfortable. However, there were a couple of drawbacks: firstly, the ceiling was a bit low, which made it feel a little confining after a while; secondly, while the window could open, it only opened a small amount, and there was an ornate design outside, so the overall natural light and ventilation felt a bit lacking. Additionally, our room was close to a small street below, and the noise was quite noticeable. There were staff activities during the day, and pedestrians passed by in the evenings and early mornings, making it generally quite noisy. This was a significant downside of our stay. I suspect rooms closer to the inner garden would be much quieter. There's a Chinese restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. The food was average, but it's an option for Chinese cuisine when abroad. There are other restaurants nearby, but we didn't try them all this time. It's worth noting that vehicles cannot pull up directly to the hotel entrance; they have to park in a nearby parking lot. Drivers contact the hotel in advance, and the hotel arranges a shuttle service, which was generally well-organized. Overall, the hotel's biggest advantages are its prime location and its distinctive design. It's ideal for those who want to explore the main attractions of the Old City extensively on foot. If you're sensitive to noise, I'd recommend prioritizing rooms facing the inner courtyard or garden.

GGuest UserDisappointed! Reviews were deceptive as they have selected the best pictures to lure in customers- rooftop restaurant of property. Breakfast was lovely and staff in restaurant lovely. Lobby staff would benefit from customer service training. They started well and showed the room - the room looked over at a demolition site and the construction was ongoing and loud. I called and requested another room and they said try tomorrow there is nothing else. I went down to talk to them and they appeared to get into an argument with each other in Turkish and then showed me another room with a tiny window. I preferred to stay in the one with the demolition noise- which they seemed to think was fine as the noise would stop at 6pm. They also told me the sauna was chargeable and swimming pool free. Again why advertise facilities without sharing this. We decided to stay as we had paid up and didn’t have much choice- nothing better was offered the next day- left after two days and upon check out no thanks or hope you had a pleasant stay- just a - did you consume from the mini bar- no?- fine you’re clear. We hadn’t argued or caused a scene but were made to feel very uncomfortable. As a frequent traveller - having visited three other hotels in trabzon- Rize- which were not four star but so much better and having visited Istanbul several times already- - these lot could Definitely could do with training and learn how to say thank you. I would not stay again.

Ssabih saeedmughalI absolutely loved this hotel! It was spotlessly clean, with a sleek and modern design. The breakfast was exceptional, offering great quality and variety. Its location is super convenient, with a tram station just a 5-minute walk away that takes you directly to Eminönü. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—especially Mr. Ahmet, who went above and beyond to assist us. Overall, I had an amazing stay and wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere else in Istanbul!

GGuest UserThe breakfast was amazing, a highlight of the trip. It’s located only fifteen minutes from Sultanahmet if you walk. My son liked taking the tram from the Grand Bazaar station right near the hotel. The staff was super nice and helpful organizing a car to the airport when we checked out. If we get a chance to fly through and take a few days stopover in Istanbul again, I’ll almost certainly try booking here again.

MMohamed ElghanaeMola İstanbul is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made our family feel right at home. The atmosphere is inviting, cozy, and perfectly suited for families—whether you’re looking to relax, enjoy a meal, or simply unwind after exploring Istanbul’s bustling streets. What truly stood out was the staff. Polite, attentive, and genuinely eager to help, they went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless. From offering thoughtful recommendations to accommodating our needs with a smile, their kindness added so much to our visit. I’m thrilled to have discovered Mola İstanbul—it’s a haven of comfort and joy in this vibrant city. If you’re looking for a place where quality service meets a family-friendly vibe, look no further. FFateh HalidI had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree Sirkeci. The hotel was incredibly comfortable, with spacious rooms that offered plenty of room to relax after a long day of exploring the city. One of the highlights of my experience was the warm and helpful staff. Always polite, attentive, and ready to assist with any request. The location is a major plus. Situated right in the heart of the city, it's within walking distance to two tram stations, making it very convenient to get around. It's also close to the Bosphorus Strait, perfect for those who want to enjoy a scenic stroll or hop on a ferry. Another great feature is the on-site dining. The hotel has food and beverage outlets right downstairs, which made grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a relaxed meal very easy. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great service in central Istanbul.
