Soo good and lovely place I loved the room and the service. And the breakfast was delicious 

Hotel location is not in the old town but it is still in excellent location as it is next to Levent Subway station (M2) and it has 3 large shopping malls with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. There is also money-changer in one of the 3 malls, which is opened to 8pm. If you want familiar fast food, there is McDonald's and KFC opposite the hotel. Room and toilet are new and modern furnishings. Breakfast is the best amongst the hotels which stayed in our 13 days stay in Turkey. Wide variety of Turkish deserts, sweets, and local food for breakfast. There is mini-bar, safe, slippers, bathrobes, full range of toiletries. Hotel also modern gym. We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Highly recommend.

This hotel has good location, but the room quite small compare the hotel with lower cost. Standard 5 star hotel with no wow experience. Overall ok lah…

I absolutely loved this hotel! It was spotlessly clean, with a sleek and modern design. The breakfast was exceptional, offering great quality and variety. Its location is super convenient, with a tram station just a 5-minute walk away that takes you directly to Eminönü. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—especially Mr. Ahmet, who went above and beyond to assist us. Overall, I had an amazing stay and wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere else in Istanbul!

It’s was a nice hotel having all amenities, staff is also very humble and friendly. Overall experience is good. Breakfast was also good.

Excellent Stay at Elite World Taksim! I had a wonderful experience at Elite World Taksim Hotel. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable with everything I needed. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. I would definitely stay here again!

Yet, my recent stay at the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City genuinely stood out. It’s a property that masterfully combines thoughtful design, polished service, and a location that captures the very essence of Istanbul’s history and rhythm. An Experience Worth Remembering Location & Access Situated in the heart of the city’s historic core, this hotel makes exploration effortless. From here, it’s just a short walk to the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet, and several key transport links. The setting feels authentic and lively; ideal for guests who want proximity without sacrificing comfort. Room 3219 – Exceptional Comfort The room offered a superb balance of functionality and elegance. It was impeccably clean, featuring plush bedding, perfect lighting for reading or work, and a surprisingly quiet HVAC system, a rarity in city hotels. Small details, like the scent of fresh linen and a spotless bathroom, reinforced the sense of care behind the housekeeping standards. Service & Staff The staff are the heartbeat of this property. Every interaction, from check-in to checkout, reflected professionalism anchored in genuine warmth. They anticipated needs before being asked, making the experience feel personal rather than procedural. This consistency across teams’ front desk, dining, and housekeeping speaks volumes about the culture of service within the hotel. Dining Experience Breakfast was both indulgent and efficient. The buffet selection was diverse, featuring beautifully presented dishes that catered to both international and local palates. The staff handled the morning rush with grace and precision, maintaining quality and attentiveness without any sense of haste. Facilities & Ambience Public areas were spotless and aesthetically cohesive. The fitness and spa areas were well-maintained, creating a serene environment ideal for unwinding after long days in the city. The lounge and lobby were comfortable enough to double as workspaces, a feature that frequent travelers will appreciate. The One Minor Quirk I noticed some early-morning noise, mostly the seagulls, a distant metro vibration, and a faint scratchy sound around 6 a.m. While this didn’t detract from the overall stay, it’s worth noting for lighter sleepers. It’s a subtle reminder that even in the most refined settings, Istanbul’s energy has its own morning rhythm. Final Thoughts What defines the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City isn’t just its luxury—it’s the consistency of experience. Every aspect feels considered and intentional. Having stayed at countless hotels across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, it’s rare to find one that strikes this balance of local charm and international polish. I often recommend property to colleagues who travel as frequently as I do, and this one has already made it to the top of that list. It leaves one wondering: how might the experience differ in another season, on a higher floor, or in one of the suites overlooking the skyline? Would the same quiet elegance and seamless service hold up under different conditions? Those are questions I find myself curious to explore again, perhaps sooner than I planned.

I booked non smoking room, however it was the room for smokers with bad smell inside. I wanted to open the window for fresh air, but air conditioners were just outside the window and the noise was annoying. I was asked to pay 100usd deposit only with credit card or cash. I had neither credit card nor cash. So hotel representative came to my room and took everything out from minibar. I checked in at 2 am and had to wake up at 7, so I had no desire to argue or change the room. There is construction right outside the window Room 502. Be aware

The location is excellent, a very shot walk distance to Taksim Square. But the room is very old and small, very hard to open suit case and do the packing. The floor in the hot steam room is dirty and smelly. The pavement close to the hotel is uneven, is not easy to carry luggage and walk to the hotel.
