Sakura Wood House

The location is not bad, not far from the morning market and night market, and you can see alms around the corner. Because of a mistake, the boss gave a round-trip ticket to Kansai Falls, which is great! The color of the room is a bit dark, the room space is a bit small, and the suitcase is a little hard to open, but the bed is very big, and the guy at the front desk is very cute~ Breakfast is bread, you can eat enough!
Sofitel Luang Prabang
4.8/551 Reviews
I cannot express enough gratitude for the Sofitel team in Luang Prabang for creating such a warm, welcoming and accommodating stay. Across all departments, the staff went above and beyond, and collectively set a new standard for Service. Most notably Vard, Leng, Mr. Kao and Youth at the front desk, Mr. Umni, Keili and Souk from F&B and Mr. Anshul Sharma, the hotel Manager, who has done an exceptional job at leading the team and making the Sofitel, Luang Prabang a must stay haven in South East Asia. The hotel grounds were picturesque and serene, the rooms tastefully designed with ample space to luxuriate, the food (particularly breakfast) at Governors Grill delicious and fresh. But above all, the service was unlike any hotel I have stayed. From remembering the small details of our personal preferences, to recommending the best activities and experiences, to assisting with a medical emergency - my partner and I felt truly cared for. I am deeply grateful for such a beautiful and memorable Christmas and New Year, and we already look forward to our return!
Sadakham Hotel

There was construction right at the door. It was noisy from 8 a.m. until late, and the yard couldn't be quiet. Fortunately, I only stayed for one night. Don't be misled by the photos. The room is not well ventilated, there are mosquitoes, the air conditioning is not good, and the hygiene is average. I told my brother to arrange a quiet room, but it turned out to be the noisiest room near the door on the first floor. More than 300 rooms are not as good as more than 200 riverside B&Bs. All in all, the stay experience was very poor. I will not come back again and I also advise everyone to leave.
Anlan Hotel
4.5/549 Reviews
I recently had the pleasure of staying at anlan, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and outstanding service. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. What truly sets this hotel apart is the immaculate cleanliness of the rooms. Every corner of my room was spotless, and the attention to detail was remarkable. It felt like I was the first guest to ever stay in that room! The bed was incredibly comfortable, with fresh, crisp linens that made for a perfect night's sleep. The modern amenities, from the high-speed Wi-Fi to the well-appointed bathroom, made my stay even more enjoyable. Despite the top-notch quality, the room rates were incredibly affordable, offering unbeatable value for money. It’s rare to find a hotel that delivers such high standards without breaking the bank, but Anlan manages to do just that. The location was also ideal—just a short walk from nearby attractions, making it easy to explore the area without any hassle. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Anlang provides everything you need for a comfortable and stress-free stay. If you're looking for a hotel that combines cleanliness, affordability, and exceptional service, look no further than [Hotel Name]. I can't recommend it highly enough and will definitely be returning on my next visit to Luang Prabang!
Mekong Theme Hotel Laos

-The staffs are very friendly. Even though English is not their first language, they utilize translation app and enjoy the conversation with the guests. Very open-minded. -The room is super clean. -The location is a bit away from the historical area (30mins+ on foot) but you can enjoy the local life along the way to the area. It was my first trip to Laos, and only for two days, but it became a very pleasant stay. Would love to visit again.
Parasol Blanc

Nice setting with lotus ponds and bridge, lots of trees, flowers, gravel winding paths and hidden seating areas. The pool is small but had lots of available comfy seating and was very clean. Breakfast is in a beautiful setting and the service and food were excellent. The menu has lots of options. Excellent service from reception to housekeeping - the complimentary water, fruit baskets and night time cookies were appreciated. Free bicycle hire and reception can organise trips. The location is okay, a 5-10 minute walk to the main area but that gives you an experience of local life as you pass through the narrow streets. There was some road noise - motorbikes etc but im not sure where you can avoid this in Luang Prabang or even SE Asia. If you are bothered by it, ear plugs will be useful. No noise from any neighbours. The room was a good size with a big balcony overlooking the gardens. Lots of stuff provided e.g toiletries, safe, tea, 3 in 1 coffee - you don't need to bring. (Cant remember seeing a razor but tbh hotel ones are never good so i bring my own). TIP: try not to rely on ATMs here, the charges are expensive. Either bring your own currency and exchange at one of the banks here (i got a good rate) or bring Kip. Many places also accept Thai baht and some US $. The hotel has water so being mosquito spray (housekeeping also offered this).
Ammata Boutique Villa

Although the hotel probably offers about the same as most others in the area and is comfortable enough, this review is affected by several negative aspects. First, the room I reserved and paid for was not the same as the one allocated to me. Reserved a premium double Room allocated was a standard twin. Can only assume the proprietor didn't bother to cofirm that the booking detail natched up with the room provuded. I had forgotten what I had actually paid for and only came to realise it was different after I had unpacked. The specified features of the premium room included a 'private spa', balcony and queen sized bed, all absent. Refrigerator did not work. The room I received was priced about $12 per day less than what I paid for. Free breakfast is included and provided by a separate restaurant on the Mekong (nothing special but OK). Another seemingly minor but annoying aspect was the lack of hot water. No kettle provided but there was a water dispenser with hot water option which also did not work. The reserved room with balcony was upstairs, however was shunted very quickly upon check-in into a standard twin room situated 3m from the reception desk. Not the end of the world but in hindsight irritating and just took the edge off my stay in Luang Prabang. Overall not too bad but overpriced, especially considering the items absent or malfunctioned.
Villa Philaylack

Luang Prabang City Center
A quiet cozy hotel near Mekonga and the city center. Officials speak good English if you have questions - boldly write them to the mail, they will answer. Cleaning was every day, towels were changed constantly, which is not in every hotel. The view from the window as such was not, but we did not sit in the hotel ourselves. A confident wi-fi signal. They provide booking services for tours, taxis, washing, etc. Any question - and the guys will give a maximum to help. At the bottom, on the respiratory, there is a free tea\coffee\cooler with water. There are also tables where you can just sit in silence. There is everything you need in the room, even the refrigerator. I definitely recommend it!

Luang Prabang City Center
The hotel was clean, employees were very helpful and kind. They had refreshments already in our rooms which was very convenient and the best part was they can check in our bags, weight, and get the luggage tag being they had connections we Lao Airlines. That was definitely a plus. We didn’t have to rush to try to get in our bag at all and they take you back to the airport and make sure we knew where we needed to go. I would definitely try this hotel to anyone.
Thongbay Guesthouse

This hotel has special meaning to me so I won't give a low score. But the impression of the little girl who may be the boss at the front desk is very common, and I hope she can't understand this passage. Don't trouble me when I stay next time. The breakfast is really good, and sitting on the terrace to eat breakfast is the most enjoyable moment.
