Hotels Near Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station in Shanghai

We had a very enjoyable stay at this lovely hotel, conveniently located within walking distance of the Hongqiao transport hub. There is a wonderful choice of eateries on a food street just across the road and the breakfast at the Mercure is also copious and delicious. Excellent service, very friendly staff who do everything to provide a pleasant environment for their guests. I am familiar with the Mercure chain and I would not hesitate to give this top class hotel a five star recommendation in all categories.

I was on a travel with my son. The hotel is quite good , silent, clean. Mcdonalds and Burger king is just opposite to the hotel. however, to go to the train station must need to take taxi. becuase walking distance is too long.

The hotel is located near the Hongqiao T2 Passenger Terminal Building and is also relatively close to Hongqiao Railway Station. There is a pick-up and drop-off service, but it is only limited to the T2 Passenger Terminal Building. The shuttle bus has a fixed time for picking up and dropping off from the airport. There is a sign on the website, but you can't see it unless you look carefully. I advise you to call and inquire first to avoid taking a taxi to the hotel. The shuttle bus to Hongqiao T2 Passenger Terminal is quite fast and it only takes a few minutes without traffic jams. The front desk service is also very good, check-in is very fast, the room is clean and tidy overall, and although it is old, the facilities are still complete. The price of the hotel is not high, so I don’t have such high requirements. After all, you can stay in a hotel at any price. There are not many affordable and clean hotels in Shanghai where there is a lot of money. There is nothing to eat near the hotel. You need to walk one kilometer to eat. The front desk also recommended Qibao Old Street, a nearby place where you can eat and go shopping. However, there is a driver in the lobby to ask if you are there when you check out. When I took a taxi, I asked the front desk of the hotel and found out that it was a scalper and had nothing to do with the hotel. The price of a scalper's taxi was higher than that of a taxi online. The hotel recommends that you take a taxi on your mobile phone. Overall, the hotel is not bad, and I highly recommend taking a transfer to check in.

A. Excellent location.. Ding'An EXIT D. Walk straight for 3mins. Second road on right. 200m and viola 190 .the hotel HaoYi. This place is full of well maintained , lit up at night water featured streams along this road. The whole area is nicely lit peacefully up at night with projected theme on the pedestrain road. There is constant ancient Chinese music as you walk pass all shops. B. Reception.. Everyone is very helpful and smiles. They try their best to understand you. Some have limited English but they try their best to use a translator app. C. Room service: cleaners are very good and polite D. Breakfast if used: The best selection of breakfast for the grade hotel..Most Asians will love the breakfast. No they dont have nasi lemak but their noodle soup is more like Malaysian Koay Teow Theng. Their breakfast fruit pears are just firm, juicy and sweet. E. Facilities are very good.. They dont have evening dining but they recommend nice eating place within 10mins walk. There is a rest lounge on reception floor for coffee.. WE will go back there . So restful hotel, good service, nice area and very near the West Lake and historic places..

This hotel is still one of my favorites. Location is good when I travel to Hongqiao for work. When I was there, the air-conditioning was not turned on (as to weather in Shanghai not being 'hot' yet). This bothers me about most hotels in Shanghai... But it would still be nice if I could make my room cold. I love the beds at this hotel. They fit me. The pillows are great. I would not go out of my way to stay here. But if I am close I will definitely stay here. I've stayed at other hotels in the area and this is the best*! *You are in the flight path of Hongqiao airport so planes pass overhead. I don't mind and love plane spotting, but if you are a light sleeper you may struggle.

Every time I come to the hotel, I get some new surprises. Every time, they add a lot of new services and facilities, such as the PS4 and board games that can be played in the lobby. This time I found an ice machine and I can get ice cubes for free, which is perfect in the summer. Drinking drinks with ice cubes is very refreshing.

The room is a bit small, the service is okay, and it's very convenient to travel. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the subway station. There is infrastructure construction nearby. The surrounding environment is a bit poor. There are not many breakfast varieties, but the taste is okay.

I had a short 1 night stay at the hotel but I had a good stay. Front desk service: The receptionist was friendly and kind. The lift doesn’t go directly to the third floor so she accompanied me to my room. Cleanliness: the room was relatively clean. Amenities: the front desk offered a dental kit. The room also had cups and water however no tea or coffee was provided. There was a tv in the room, however, I didn’t use it. Overall, I had a good stay and would stay there again if I’m ever in the area.
