As comfortable and welcoming a B&B I have had the pleasure of staying in. Lovely, almost magical, location overlooking the glen from Ariundle through Strontian and views beyond. Rooms were clean and cosy, not too small, nor too large. Breakfast options were sufficient for all tastes, including catering for various dietry needs. Booking via e-mail was straightforward, and followed through in timely keeping. Although this was one of three stops on my family's road trip in Scotland, it was by far the most enjoyed. No hesitation whatsoever to recommend to those interested in natural history or landscapes / geography / geology.

Julie and Nigel are your hosts and have thought about absolutely everything when creating this ‘Haven in the Highlands’. We stayed 3 nights in June and could have easily stayed longer. So much thought had been put into the facilities in the room (Large King with lounge area and large bathroom with drinks ante-room). To list just some of the facilities:- Sky TV and Netflix, Tea/Coffee/Hot Choc/shortbread/fridge with fresh milk and water/sofa/guide books/licensed bar/home bar with ‘honesty box’ where you can enjoy ‘at cost’ drinks including a vast range of single malts/luxurious bathroom. Then the ‘icing on the cake’….breakfast! Wide range available and all cooked by Julie to restaurant standard. Strontian Village is beautiful as is the whole peninsula in which it sits. Uircheann Righ really is your Home from Home with wonderful, caring hosts. I’d challenge you to find better appointed accommodation in the area for the price charged (including hotels).

This was our first stay with Julie and Nigel. This accommodation is absolutely first class in every aspect from the wonderful room to the amazing food produced by Julie. We had a great evening meal on our last night, thank you Julie. Our hosts were extremely helpful in advising us of places to go. Fabulous location giving brilliant views from our room. From the bedding to the shampoos and conditioners, everything was the best. Cannot recommend this B & B highly enough.

Julie and Nigel are fabulous hosts. My parents and I have just completed a 2-week holiday in Scotland and this was without a doubt the stand-out place. Nothing was too much trouble, the rooms are extremely comfortable, the facilities and 'extras' provided are exceptional. Julie and Nigel are warm, friendly, welcoming people; additionally they provided information on the local area and amenities, I would definitely recommend this B&B.

This place is so good in all respects, and the folk who run it such unassuming, warm and generous people, that once you arrive in their gorgeous house you will never want to leave. Sheer class from start to finish. For B and B accommodation it really doesn't get any better than this ..... because it couldn't. This stay was our second with Julie and Nigel and it will certainly not be our last.

Well what can I say apart from wow!!! From the minute my family and I arrived both Julie and Nigel could not have done any more for us!! Such a cozy property it felt like a home from home, drinks on arrival, dinner bookings, help with travel, lots of informative details about the surrounding areas, the comfiest rooms and beds and the most delicious breakfast!! My little boy who is 3 was also with us and he was made to feel so welcome, he was even taken down to collect the hens eggs and feed the birds whilst we enjoyed breakfast, he was shouting to go back the minute we left!! If I could give this place 10 stars out of 5 I would, the most incredible place I have been, we will definitely be back!! I can't thank you enough Julie and Nigel!! Your amazing!!

What an amazing stay we had at Uircheann Righ. Julie and Nigel are fantastic hosts and went above and beyond to make our first stay in their beautiful home extra special. We stayed in Sanna which was a beautifully furnished room with every conceivable home comfort you could think of. The breakfasts were to die for and definitely worth the visit alone. Strontian is a great base to explore the peninsulas to the west of Loch Linnie and the area is one we are definitely looking forward to visit again in the future.
