It takes 20 minutes by speedboat from Male. The island is clean and there are no bugs. The ratio of Westerners to Asians is about half and half, there are many elderly couples, and it is very quiet. Everyone greets each other when they pass by, which was nice. There are delicious curries, pastas, and meats that suit Japanese tastes. If you snorkel from the villa, it is so deep that you can't even touch the water, and the waves are so strong that you get seasick. There are hardly any fish, so I think the pool is more relaxing. It was a bit disappointing that you can see other islands and buildings from the island. It can't be helped since it's close to Male. But I think this price is reasonable for an all-inclusive resort in the Maldives. The cleaning staff was also very kind and unobtrusive, coming twice a day to clean up the place. The host contacted us on our last day even though it was a day off, and was very responsible and kind, so we had a comfortable stay.

Property is beautiful and welcoming, amongst being very clean, the unfortunate portion of our trip was shadowed by the weather, not allowing the use of the water activities or anything outside of cover due to extremely high winds and heavy rain.

Incredible experience at OBLU Lobigili. Very attentive staff from the time we arrived until we left. Our hostess Rinki was in touch daily with the activities of the day and with the events we signed up for. The food was outstanding and varied. Fresh press juices daily. Fresh egg station. Fresh Indian food and a variety of western food. Loved having sushi offered at lunch. The OBLU underwater restaurant was AMAZING. Had lunch there and again the food was wonderful!! It was like eating inside an aquarium. Stayed in the sun nest overwater villa with pool. Very private and the neighbors can’t see you and you can’t see them. The fresh water pool was refreshing after being outside or in the ocean. Received two massages while there. One was included with our package. The masseuse’s were incredible. Enough daily activities to keep one busy. This was an anniversary trip and the staff treated us to a beautifully decorated table and even extra attention. I can’t rave enough about this resort. It was incredible!! I hope to go back again.

Our experience with resort island was nothing but spectacular. The staff were warm, genuine, and extremely helpful. Our island hostess went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. We highly recommend OBLU Select Lobigili for your honeymoon or just as a getaway from the rigors of life. You won’t regret it.

We stayed at Lobigili for our delayed honeymoon and the whole stay was wonderful. The room was exceptional as were all of the staff in the bars, restaurants and across the whole resort. Food was varied and beautifully cooked, with special nights at OnlyBlu and Gaadiya 17. Special mention must go to Aamir and his team in the Indian kitchen whose food was fabulous and who passed on their knowledge during the Cookery course so generously. View is the best spot. The meals are really delicious. The emloyees are very kind. We are satisfied with the activities. We had a good rest. I can not forget the beautiful scenes. I want to come here after several years. I would like to say thank you again.

where do i start. out of this world this was a pure heaven holiday sam who looked after us with bookings and making sure our holiday was the best Scotty and the rest in the swing bar kept us refreshed with great drinks Novita and the girls at ylang ylang kept us fed on excellent a la carte food this is a place you have to visit to appreciate the experience. would i go back you bet.
