Where to start! Arrived home 09.08.2024 On booking this my friend and I researched reviews and all seemed well. We have since been informed by a staff member from this hotel that some of them are made to write fake reviews and that the pictures we see on their site are actually from the sister hotel next door. On arrival at 11am a bus load of guests waited and had to share the only 3 pens at reception ( not that it mattered as myself, my friend and our 2 young daughter's had to wait 5 hours for our room. During this time we were told to dump cases at front of reception (where anyone could have walked off with them) and go for lunch. On entering the doorway of the restaurant I was greeted with a stench I will never forget, a mixture of urine, overfragranced handsoap and sweat..this smell wafted through the whole complex. After waiting 15 mins for a dried food encrusted plate which the waiter wiped with a yellowing cloth he then proceded to wipe his forehead with the same cloth. On seeing this I returned my plate and picked up another dirty one that thankfully he hadn't wiped. I don't even know where to start with the food. I understand hotels have to cater for different tastes, cultures etc and I always look forward to trying new dishes but on this occasion and for the next 2 days the only thing I could eat were apples after I had peeled them, everything was dirty. The way the other guests were grabbing and touching foods, tasting it off serving spoons then putting spoons back in the dishes. On one occasion a woman tasted a peice of meat in like a black/dark green liquid and actually spat it back into the serving dish. Causing more uproar and aggressive behaviour. After 2 days my friend and I located guest relations and begged her to help us. We were hungry and could not face entering the restraunt again. Guest relations acted confused as if this was her first time in the hotel, but showed what we though was genuine concern. Offering fresh fruit and water to be left at our room everyday so the children had something to eat in the mornings. This did not materialise. Neither did the entrance light we complained about everyday. ALL INCLUSIVE One bottle of whisky, vodka and patron. One beer and fanta and coke bottles being filled from a draft machine. Snack was hot popcorn even though most days it was late 30s Continuous serving of alcohol, even if person is intoxicated. One guest lost balance due to being extremely intoxicated and grabbed my arm leaving me bruised. Same man smashed his own room up and continued to attack the guest in neighbouring room, causing serious facial injuries. The same night a congregation of over 40 people were gathered outside my room shouting and screaming about someone touching a young girl inappropriately at the foam party the entertainment team put on. After continuous complaints from several guest, including ourselves, guest relations allowed some of the guests to eat in the al a carte restraunt, we had no choice
