Delphin Imperial Lara

Delphin Imperial Lara

Lara Coast Aksu
Our first stay at this lovely hotel and the experience was wonderful. Apologies for the lengthy review but it is well deserved. We visited end of February so wasn't sure about the weather. Whether you just want to relax or kept entertained, there is something for all. You can truly have a good time at this venue. The hotel inside is beautiful. Whether you are eating a meal, having a desert at the patisserie, having a relaxing drink or enjoying the Spa or outdoor areas you will do so in lovely surroundings. Rooms - There are approximately 800 in the hotel. The rooms are a good size and complete with essentials. After our first night we were moved to a partial sea view room with a balcony. Rooms are cleaned daily. Beds are comfortable. Fridge is stocked daily for free. The only minus is there is no iron provided by the hotel. They do offer a chargeable laundry service. Food - There isn't a single minute in the day or night where you would struggle to find something decent to eat or drink. Meals times are grand and the variety has to be seen to be believed. They also have nine la carte restaurants which are free. We got round to trying the Mexican and the Chinese. Outside fixed meal times, there is late breakfast, late dinner and food available all night in the basement bar. Throughout the day you can also eat and drink at the various food locations near the pools, activity areas and the beach. They also have pop up food areas where they serve snacks like donor, sandwiches and panini. Must give a special mention to the Patisserie area inside the hotel. Good variety of cakes, ice cream and deserts available from morning to night in lovely surroundings. Facilities - We got warm weather so made the most of walking on the sandy beach and lounging in the sun. Amongst the many pools there is an outdoor heated pool and an indoor pool. The Spa area has a Hammam, Sauna and Steam rooms with a relaxation area all complimentary for guests. There are also several Spa treatments and different massages you can have at an additional cost. There is also a gym. As mentioned throughout there are many food areas and bars. Depending on which one you visit you can find most things to eat and drink which you expect on holiday. Throughout the day you can participate in the activities which are run by the hotel's friendly staff. At night time there are shows and performances taking place. You can get involved in some or if you prefer just relax and get entertained by the skilled performers. Thanks to Salman at darts and the man who did the air rifle shooting. Both were a good laugh. There is also a cinema, bowling and games room. Staff - Customer focus is paramount at this hotel. From Mina in guest relations to the manager who sorted our room (sorry forgot his name). The waiters and waitresses, whether it was meal times or elsewhere, patisserie or bar staff, the lady who clean

Titanic Mardan Palace

Lara Coast Aksu
This hotel is absolutely fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone . The facilities, the service, the food and the feel factor around the whole resort is that of total relaxation and luxury . We’ve just returned after a week with 2 children under the age of 6 who also had the time of their lives. The kids club is brilliant and although myself and my wife never left our children unattended in there, there is that option if that’s something you choose to do and it does feel extremely safe. The private beach is at bottom of the resort, which also has so many sun beds. This hotel feels a million miles away from the nightmares you hear of Sunbed wars at 9am or fighting to get towels with towel cards; there is an abundance of sun beds all around the resort even when the hotel is full. If you see yourself as a bit of a food / drink connoisseur like myself then this is heaven on earth. The drinks, food and patisserie options are that of pure luxury. What made the hotel even more special is that nothing is too much to ask of the staff, whether it be a cocktail, a milkshake, or some late night food. From the sun beds, to the huge pool, the luxurious rooms or the unbelievable buffet ( which is that good you feel you’re missing out going to an a la carte restaurant, which are equally as brilliant ) this hotel did not disappoint at all. At the Mardan Palace you can have an unforgettable trip away making memories while also being able to indulge in pure luxury ! This is our second time at the hotel, and within the next week I will be booking again for next year. I would like to give a huge shout out to Ikbel from the guest assistant team, she was absolutely fantastic the whole way, I can’t recommend her enough she was so attentive to our every need and made sure we were looked after until we checked out ! We can’t wait to return again next year

Wow. Amazing hotel where do I start. We went as a family with 2 children 15 and 13 this was our second visit and last year it was fantastic but this year the improvements they have made are even better. Although I didn’t think it would be possible. Hotel is spotless, the staff everywhere work so hard and are happy to do anything they can do to help. So much selection of food my favourite place to eat was the beach hut at lunch time the menu is brilliant. So nice to eat your lunch while looking out to the sea. Entertainment is great and is your choice if you join in we done a few activities and really enjoyed them. Hassan was fantastic with my boys. The best night was the colourful party in the garden is absolutely fantastic, we then went to the beach bar for after party me and my 13 year old and got in at 1am. The shows they have on in the evenings are good. We walked down the road 5 min to the shops in the evening as it cooler, where they is lots to choose from took English pounds which they are happy to have but you must barter don’t take there first price. Love the ice lolly’s that comes round with someone on a bike, and they bring a fruit and veg one round little touches like that are great. The jetty lovely with a bar on great when your on the beach. Sunbeds we’re still available at 7.30am where in August when we went had to be up at 5.30am I just can’t rate this hotel enough we are definitely coming back as it such a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. we have stayed at Sherwood breeze befor and thought that was a great hotel. But Liberty Lara just top it off. You definitely won’t be disappointed this is a proper 5 star hotel. Thank you Liberty Lara for a outstanding holiday.

Melas Lara Hotel

Well, just coming to an end of a 2 week stay at the Melas Lara. Our second stay here, last one I believe 2021 and this was just as enjoyable. Weather varied, a few nice days, but it is December and a few wet ones. I always believe in being as honest as I can and will definitely forget to mention some things. The most important point, and this goes for the majority, if not All hotels on the Turkish coast, with inflation circa 60% and interest rates at 40% it’s a wonder they survive. After stating the above, you would not know that these financial matters existed as they do not lower the high standards they set. The hotel and rooms are kept spotless by a dedicated team of cleaners and yes, the decor is a little dated and we would prefer a walk-in shower, but it has not affected our stay whatsoever. There was always an excellent choice for all meals and the quality is excellent. One of the things I always mention is the provision of a Microwave because, we love our hot food to be hot and this hotel provides one. The restaurant was supplemented with a lovely patisserie/coffee shop with a great choice of sandwiches/cakes/ biscuits and ice cream, coffee & tea. The Bar is as good as most and there was a choice of branded drinks and we enjoyed our Gordon’s G&T’s with the obligatory Schweppes/ice & cucumber, bar staff very attentive and you never waited long to have your drinks replenished. The hotel was about 1/3 full and the animation team and entertainment provided was decent. Rooms are kept spotless by the cleaners and of a decent size with the beds extremely comfortable, but a walk-in shower would be beneficial. I have to mention the cleaners extra mile in displaying the bedding and towels as Swans/Hearts etc and made the room very inviting There's a very decent indoor pool, jacuzzi and gym which we used daily. The grounds are kept immaculate by some very green fingered staff and look superb when the sun was out. We are no spring chickens and if fit enough would love to return in the future. Thanks for a great holiday. Matt & Bett

The room is spacious, it feels like a hotel owned by an airline, and most of the people staying in the hotel are crew members. It is a 10-minute drive from the airport, and there is a free shuttle bus every 15 minutes. Antalya Airport is divided into two terminals, the international and the domestic.

A 3 star at best. I’ll start with the positives. Some of the staff go above and beyond for guests. Ramazam was the kindest and most helpful member of restaurant staff. Julia, and her staff in kids club, made our sons holiday. The young guy around the pool on skates was lovely. The rooms are clean. The negatives. The reception staff are rude and don’t try to speak any other language. We upgraded to a suite, which included a kitchen, but with no cooking implements or even cutlery. There is a shuttle service to the beach, if you can call it a beach. It’s not sandy, just co**** grit and you can’t see the waters edge from the sun loungers. At the hotel there were kids running up and down the corridors till gone 2am and even playing knock a door run. Felt like the room above was moving their furniture at gone midnight every night. Beds are rock hard. Guest relations really weren’t that bothered. Only saying they knew which families, and they were aware. It rained a lot, two days solid, (worst for 9 years the staff said), which obviously isn’t the hotels fault, but they were inadequately prepared for having all the guests inside, at the only indoor bar. There wasn’t enough space and kids were playing football/basketball indoors. There is no security to curb any unruly and drunken behaviour. These English guests were an embarrassment and a disgrace, even trying to fight staff. We paid extra to spend our last 2 days at their sister hotel down the road, which was in a totally different league, and has security. We were harassed to post a review on here by entertainment staff, who stated he ‘needed it tonight’ when we said we would add one when we got home. I feel like this is how so many positive reviews are added. Oh and the member of staff sat with us, smoking without asking if we minded, with children present. Would not return.
