This was our sixth stay at the Ritz Carlton Al Hamra Beach Resort, and once again, it was a fantastic experience that reminded us why we keep returning. The extremely friendly and welcoming staff make each visit so memorable. The villa layout and the outside area are absolutely beautiful – it’s a private paradise! The private pool and outdoor shower are highlights for us, giving that perfect blend of luxury and privacy. Waking up in such a tranquil setting and winding down by our private pool has become one of our favorite rituals. We’d like to express our appreciation to the people who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Special thanks to Juliy, Fillend, and Mahmoud at the front desk for always being so helpful and welcoming. At the restaurant, Sue, Moe, Prashant, Said, Jesiya, Deepu, and Rani created such a warm atmosphere every morning and evening, making each meal a cherished part of our day. Maddie, who brought our ice buckets daily with such a cheerful smile, added a personal touch that didn’t go unnoticed. Amir and Mario who drove us around in the buggies and took care of our bycicles. To the kitchen and housekeeping staff, we didn’t get the chance to meet, but their impeccable work and attention to detail with the villa and food did not go unappreciated. And, of course, Arun and Clark - thank you for adding that extra personal touch that made us feel truly looked after. You made our stay feel even more special, and we’re so grateful. If there is anyone I have forgotten, please rest assured, even if your name is not mentioned here, we still remember your warm smile when you greeted us! There are also stray cats that seem to belong here. They can be quite friendly if you’re a cat lover, and if you shoo them away, they’ll keep their distance. It would be reassuring to know if there’s a spay and neuter program in place, as one cat seemed to be expecting kittens soon. While we love this resort deeply, there are a few areas that could use attention. The resort is starting to show its age, with some chipped tiles and other details that we’ve mentioned over the years, yet they remain unaddressed. The technology in the room could use an upgrade; our TV kept shutting off automatically, or the channel would go dark with only sound, making it a bit frustrating to unwind with a show. Also, the beach could benefit from more regular cleaning, as there was noticeable debris. However, these minor points don’t overshadow the wonderful experience we had. The Ritz Carlton Al Hamra Beach Resort remains a true five-star gem, and it is the incredible staff who make this place so special. We look forward to coming back again!
