Al Badayer Retreat by Sharjah Collection

An extremely unique place that I don’t even know who to recommend. 1. The hotel is very uncomfortable, cold and deserted (not because it is located in the desert, but because of its contents). It feels like they planned something bigger there, but didn’t finish it. The staff is unfriendly, you don't feel welcome. In general, the concept of hospitality is not visible there. You know, usually as soon as you cross the threshold of a hotel, you are enveloped by the warmth and cordiality of the entire staff, as if you are being transferred from service to service gently and carefully, like the closest person. There is a completely different atmosphere here. There is no normal interaction with the guest, no one introduces themselves, the introduction to the hotel is superficial, everything looks as if they are doing you a favor. 2. Strange food concept. You can order room service at any time, but the restaurant is open by the hour. I don’t like to eat in my room and was hungry when we arrived, but we had to wait for the restaurant to open in the evening. By the way, the food was very tasty, this is one of the few advantages of this place. 3. Terrible audibility in the rooms. You won't have any rest if you're unlucky with your neighbors. You can hear everything, telephone calls, and the entertainment of people who miss each other. Here the question, of course, once again goes to the staff. Why put people in a connection in a completely empty hotel? There are 10 rooms of this category, 5 in one building, 5 in another, there are no more guests, and you are staying in the connection. Strange policy. In general, it doesn’t even smell like retreat or vacation there. If you are not satisfied with something, then you will not receive any action other than an apology. The obvious advantages, I repeat, are delicious food in the restaurant and a pleasant, warm indoor pool.
