The first impression of this property blew our minds away. We were pleasantly surprised to see a property of this nature in the middle of nowhere. Massive property with multiple stay options, swimming pool, backwater activities, spa, games and what not! We were impressed by their efforts in the overall upkeep of the property. However, I believe a vacation must give you a wholesome experience - meaning, you can’t just have a great stay but otherwise poor experience. Every minute detail is essential. While our room was upgraded to a bigger one since we were three occupants, the services that followed thereafter only made our experience sour. Starting from constantly asking for extra towels, to extra bottle of water, to incessantly calling for extra coffee sachets - we were thoroughly pissed by their unmindful attitude each day. Then came the awful room service. Language itself is an issue and to top it off - staff were just not careful enough while taking orders. Food quality is just about average. We have had better food in other parts of the state. The biggest flaw can be rectified by accepting it and listening to the customers patiently. Giving a free meal ain’t a solution. While the people were smiling and warm always - their inefficient working style didn’t quite hit the mark. Am I going to recommend this property to someone? Perhaps not. Paying so much per night - one wishes to have a seamless stay experience, which we didn’t. I only hope things get better there before more customers start penning down similar issues.

The place is great and the staffs are extremely friendly and caring. They cater to your needs and requirements on immediate basis especially Kavya, Josy, Jinu was very kind and helpful. Definitely a must visit place in Alleppey. Also their rooms are beautiful and a must visit place in Alleppey. Can't wait to go back!

We stayed here for 3 days. Staff is extreamly helpful, polite and friendly. Food quality is good and tasty. Good facilities like swimming pool (large size), Gym, SPA, Garden, complimentary tea/snacks in evening. Location is great facing back water but approach to resort is narrow and without tarmac road. Room TV have cable channels but not smart TV so can't play YouTube. Evening time, there is no cultural activities such as local dances, music, bonefire, etc. I am told these activities do happen in Dec, Jan. Prices to arrange boat trip is too high compared to arrange youself outside.

Lovely accommodation clean and beautifully presented. Pool was lovely. We will return to stay here as we were treated like royalty . Food was a very high standard and we could not fault anything . The gym was great and beds super comfortable. Wonderful stay

The property is superb. The staff is so cooperative and the service is excellent. You can spend the whole day at this property. The swimming pool is just awesome. The room is also amazing compared to the pricing. We had a fantastic day here and we are seeing to get back at thi property when we visit again.

Wonderful day in my life spended in Uday Backwater Resort Alleppey. Really appreciate the whole staff especially Pooja at reception for given the good service for us. The food was delicious and very tasty. Our family is very enjoyed for this stay. Thank you for giving the Wonderful moments in our vacation. ♥️

We enjoyed an unforgettable experience in this serene nature-based setting. The facilities are immaculate, with every convenience available. Our spacious premium room compared favorably to a two-bedroom residence. The exceptional cuisine and staff's genuine warmth, exemplified by a shell mala welcome, made our stay memorable. The swimming pool, rowing, and fishing facilities were crystal clear and exceeded expectations. Notably, Mandeep and Sulekha provided exceptional service in the restaurant, demonstrating remarkable hospitality and care, making our stay truly special.
