THE ROOM: spacious and had not only a good bed but room enough to walk around and open a suitcase. There was a desk area by the window and a small sitting area with a bench by the head of the bed. The room was modern and clean and smelled lovely. It was theoretically quiet as it was facing towards the back of the building but the windows have to remain shut as some guests might come and smoke and chat on the terrace (it admittedly happened only once and until someone shouted at them to go to their room). The main problem was some rather loud and repetitive structural sound, was loud enough to wake me. At first I thought that the upstair neighbours were moving a piece of furniture every 2 minutes but it made little sense. I concluded that it was one of the elevators that had some sort of issue and emitted the sound of a dying whale from early in the morning until late into the night. THE STAFF: the staff was friendly and helpful. However, be aware that you will be charged 10 euros to get into your room if you arrive at the hotel before 15:00 and your room is ready. You will be charged 5 euros to leave a suitcase in storage after 10:00 on the day of your departure. You also have to book and pay for a maid to come and change your towels and empty your bin. The hotel was pleasant and affordable but I have never had to pay for these kind of services in any hotel I have stayed at.

You could not ask for a better location- the sea is one block away and the best restaurants only 2 blocks...not to mention the lovely shops, beautiful Gardens, Opera and all the world charm that Nice has to offer! The staff at the hotel are incredible- always willing to assist in any way and ever so pleasant. There is a small cafe/market to the right of the hotel and an amazing brewery to the left. The best pizza is at 'le p'tit mesclun', which is just off of the Promenade...worth finding! Last but not least, is le Plongeoir, a restaurant that hovers over the sea- it is a magical place and an experience that you will never forget!

My partner and i were there for 2 days. The location is very good. Other than this the hotel has very basic amenities, the hotel rooms are small and not in good condition. The shower is over the bath and the space is small. An old style of shower. There is no room service to order meals to your room so you have to be out to get something to eat. Upon arrival i asked the girl at the reception desk to freeze my icepack for my medication. When we checked out she gave me a completey thawed and soft icepack. When i asked her why it wasn't frozen, she literally just shrugged her shoulders and said she doesn't know. She didn't care that i was travelling with medication and that i had carefully explained to her when we checked in why i needed the icepack frozen. She didn't apologise either, was completely non-chalant despite the fact that i was clearly upset and anxious about my meds that i had to take on a flight with me. Her colleague then offered to run to the pharmacy to buy me a icepack. We expected a better quality stay and a better hotel experience but we were dissapointed. Stylish contemporary lobby, restaurants and rooms. Good location with old town area five minute walk through park and plazas- a dozen glorious churches, great French linen and fabric store L’Epingle a Linge here. Many chic clothing stores nearby- not just Gucci etc, but small, local with exciting window displays. Pretty parks and gardens nearby. Hotel rooms have very large decks with comfortable teak furniture and great views even from rooms on side. Pick up fabulous bread, sandwiches, pastries and desserts from Armand patisserie that is two blocks away for lunch on your deck. This is a good alternative to 20 Euro/person poor lunches in area. Almost all restaurants in the area are touristy so have poor food and are expensive, but there are half a dozen Michelin restaurants within a ten minute walk that are affordable unlike Paris at 200 Euros. (Peixes, Chez Davia, Le Canailes, Fine Gueule...) This is a busy hotel that many tour companies use so there were busses constantly unloading people for the four days we were there. The front desk staff are always busy checking in guests and at check in made no eye contact and just said ”passports”, passed a paper to us to sign then said the room number. When we asked for advice twice (should we take a taxi or bus to the train station and would Monaco or Cannes be better for a day trip) the staff were dismissive and not interested in providing advice. People we talked to sitting around the bar at the end of the day said they could not get recommendations for restaurants from front desk staff. On busy oceanfront promenade with many cars but rooms are soundproofed well.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 3notti, in coppia ad agosto 2022. La struttura è in una posizione strategica: a 100m da rue de medicine, la strada principale piena di negozi, che percorsa interamente (circa 700m) porta sul lungomare, alla promenade des angles. Abbiamo facilmente trovato parcheggio per strada nei dintorni: se durante il giorno si usa la macchina per visitare i dintorni, non è necessario mettere la macchina in un parcheggio privato in quanto dopo le 20 il parcheggio per strada è gratuito. L addetto alla reception del mattino è stato molto professionale e gentile, ci ha prestato l ombrello per 2giorni in quanto pioveva. La struttura è moderna e in stile minimal: la stanza è dotata di cassaforte, frigorifero (vuoto), le prese sono compatibili con quelle italiane. La nostra stanza al primo piano era luminosa e affacciava sul ristorante accanto all' albergo.Lo spazio davanti al letto era un po' stretto, ma tutto sommato la quadratura della camera è accettabile. Bagno moderno e bella doccia, tuttavia non ci sono state fornite cuffie per la doccia.

I mostly enjoyed my stay here. It was clean. The staff was helpful, especially when I found myself bombarded by electronic cigarette use when in a room with a connecting door. They moved me to another room and took steps to protect me from it. I have asthma, and it affects my breathing and makes my ears pop. Hotels have a hard time enforcing it, but they really need to find ways because the problem has become increasingly worse in the last few years. The room had many windows and was very comfortable. The shower, like most showers in Europe had some problems. The showerhead kept falling and they didn't fix it properly, but you definitely have more space in their showers than most European showers since this is also a bath.

The rooftop with view and swimming pool is absolutely sublime, it is very pleasant, the staff is very careful and small care, only negative point, the spa is slightly disappointing, The facilities are old, not very well decorated and lighted, it doesn't value the spa, it lacks a jacuzzi but the spa staff is super top, and they make the best massage. The best 5 stars in Nice are in a price-quality-level! And the fact that not being at the sea front, but we are still not far from 10 minutes walk and the ballade is very nice, is really offset by the rooftop that is the best point of the hotel.

Very Nice Place and top services. Professional Staff and bar activities very Fun. The Place stay's very close to the Train Station and 5 Minutes walking from the Massena Area. Rest Rooms and bed Rooms Always Clean. Service available for every kind of service. Highly Recommended!

Don’t stay at this hotel if you want to get some rest. There is a restaurant downstairs so people will be coming after midnight and talking loudly. You will be hearing cars throughout the night. In terms of cleanliness it was ok. The room was a bit small. Not the worst place to stay for the price. Just a bit loud.
