The staff are so enthusiastic. I really like the girl who checked in at the front desk. She is playful but also a little shy. There are not many rooms in the hotel. There are only one group of Chinese families like us and several groups of Russian families, all with babies. Breakfast Not very rich.

A wonderful hotel for a small number of guests right on the ocean. Very friendly polite staff. Huge stylish rooms with ocean views. A beautiful panoramic pool, a cozy area on the lawn with sun loungers and hammocks under palm trees near the shore for complete relaxation and admiring the sunsets. We included in addition to breakfast and dinner. Beautiful presentation, large portions and very tasty. Nearby there is a large supermarket and a museum of masks. It's also not far to walk to the city where you can buy fruit. I recommend it for lovers of a secluded romantic getaway near a beautiful beach! We would gladly come back again.

R Degrees in Sri Lanka is a beautiful hotel seamlessly connected to a serene beach. At first glance, the entrance might not seem particularly impressive, but stepping inside reveals a hidden oasis. The white-walled interiors welcomed us warmly, complete with a delicious welcome drink and refreshing towel to set the tone for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly accommodating, happily customizing meals upon request, and the rooms were not only clean but also thoughtfully designed with aesthetic appeal. That said, there are a couple of areas for improvement. The water pressure in the showers was inconsistent, fluctuating between hot and cold, which could be addressed for a better experience. Additionally, the gym could use some updates to attract a younger, fitness-focused crowd. While we were keen to work out, the lack of machines and limited weights made it less appealing.

Am Ende unserer Reise durch srilanka kamen wir diesesmal an einen wundervollen Platz! Das Hotel ist sehr gemütlich u kuschelig. Wenn man Ruhe haben will geradezu perfekt. Unser Zimmer war riesig mit allem was man so braucht. Nicht mehr ganz neu aber sauber! TV, Bar, whirlpool Bad, Klimaanlage, Ventilator. Die Betten sehr gut. Balkon mit herrlicher Aussicht auf Palmen und Meer. Die Belegschaft des Hauses ist unwahrscheinlich freundlich, aufmerksam und entgegenkommend. War in ganz srilanka so aber hier extrem gut. Besonders erwähnen möchte ich dabei Laksiri , Kasun u Sineth und einer jungen Dame vom Service, Sadhana von der Rezeption, die Masseurin Tharanga mit ihren goldenen Händen, sowie die 3 roomboys und die Gärtner. Echt nette Leute. Mit so einem Team kann man nur gut sein!!!! Die Jungs in der Küche verwöhnten uns mit Allem was singhalesisches Essen zu bieten hat. Von currys über rotti, dhal, sambols , mojos, pittu, Strnghopers , kottu egghoppers......usw.-- lecker!! Aber auch westliches Essen kommt nicht zu kurz. Der Garten wunderschön mit kleinem Pool und Anschluss ans Meer. Das Meer ist nicht zum schwimmen oder surfen geeignet. Zu raff!! Also wer es ruhig mag und nicht auf totalen Luxus angewiesen ist kann im R degree ein paar super Tage verbringen. Kleine Ausflügen zu Fuss oder mit dem tuck tuck sind such von dort aus möglich. Jederzeit wieder!!!

Ein kleines Hotel, das in die Jahre gekommen ist. Restaurantleistung ist unterschiedlich, mal richtig gut und dann wieder grausig. Das Personal reißt alles raus: super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool- und Strandbereich ist sehr schön, weißt aber reichlich Mängel auf. Zuwenig Sonnenschirme, keine Toilette. Was aber richtig lästig ist, dass ab mittags Heerscharen von jungen Leuten, die nicht im Hotel wohnen, den Pool und die Liegewiese bevölkern, sodass Hotelgäste kaum einen Platz finden.

Waren nach der Rundreise durch srilanka für weitere 4 Tage da. Ein ruhiges sauberes Plätzchen. Das Zimmer war super groß u sauber, mit TV, Safe, Kühlschrank, Klima, Wäscheservive, Sofa mit Tisch und sogar einer kleinen whirlpool Badewanne. Blick aufs Meer u Balkon. Das Essen 1A. Kleiner Pool zum Schwimmen Personal super freundlich. Herz was willst du mehr.

Wir waren nach einer Rundreise in diesem kleinen , super schönem Hotel. Das Personal war sehr angenehm und freundlich, individuelle Wünsche wurden jederzeit erfüllt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und groß! Auch die Massage ist haben wir ausprobiert und waren Wiederholungstäter! Das Essen wurde sogar nach individuellen Wünschen gekocht. Die Lage ist perfekt ! Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen! Danke !

We have stayed 7 days at this beautiful hotel and have had a really wonderful experience. The design of the hotel very chic with lovely rooms and great facilities. Wonderful sea views and lovely gardens which provide a very relaxing environment. The thing that really makes this hotel so special is the wonderful staff . The welcome from the beautiful receptionist, all the waiting staff, the talented chef Nyrashan and resturant manager Rashan, friendly gardeners, housekeepers and pool staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay at R Degrees so special .
