Hotel Van Gogh Reviews

The location is exceptional, otherwise, nothing much to choose or for. Most of the staff are friendly but you get an occasional rude youngster who hate their job. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, the receptionist gaslighted me about hot water in the shower, which I didn’t have for 3 days. Brown stained towels should be disposed. I arrived at my room with paper towels floating, not flushed. Drilling and knocking were nonstop all day from 08:30 in the morning on a Saturday.

Clean and close to the museums

Very good location for museum tour, easy to find out, and bery quiet place.

The hotel is too small, and there is a sound like rushing water all night. I stayed on the top floor, 4th floor, and because of the skylight, it was bright very early in the morning. I wanted to change the room the next day, but it was not allowed. But the room was cleaned very clean every day. I couldn't get used to Dutch food, so I went to the supermarket to buy rice (also unpalatable) and instant noodles. You can also sit inside the breakfast area to eat. The Dutch street smells too strong

The service of this hotel is very good. Even if we arrive early, the front desk will help us check if there are any remaining rooms so that we can check in early. The city tax is also included in the hotel fee in advance, which is very considerate. The room is not small, the bathroom is bright and spacious, and the patterns of Van Gogh's works on the wall make the whole room look very happy! Moreover, each room has a capsule coffee machine, which is a plus for me as a coffee lover! As for the hotel's location, it is close to the rikjsmuseum and Van Gogh museum, and there is a tram outside the door, which is very convenient for tourists. 

Next to the hotel is the Van Gogh Museum, which is very convenient and has an excellent location. The room is also clean and has a coffee machine. But the fly in the ointment is that the water heater is difficult to adjust, and the shower head is not good when the water is too hot.
