We spent our winter holiday here and there are plenty of local groceries stores around. The train station is just a breeze walk away so it’s easy to travel around. The Zaanse Schans (windmill attraction), Zaandam (‘Lego’ house) is just few stations away from the hotel. Stay wise it’s comfortable but can get tad abit noisy as the sound insulation between walls are rather weak. All in all we will definitely stay here again!
Excellent location at Hotel V Oosterpark, Linnaeusstraat 2C, 1092 CK Amsterdam, directly next to Oosterpark.
Parking is convenient at Q-Park Oostpoort, Polderweg 92, 1093 KP Amsterdam, which is approximately a 700 m walk from the hotel.
At the moment, ongoing construction work makes access a bit less convenient, and arriving by car may require a detour.
The location is very good for leisure activities, walking, and sports thanks to the immediate proximity to Oosterpark.
The building feels new and has a clean, minimalist style.
The rooms are modern, with minimalist furniture and a well-executed contemporary interior design.
The bathroom design was less practical for me, as there is no proper door, so cold air from the room comes in while showering, which feels uncomfortable.
The amenity kit is stylish and gives a premium impression.
The bed was unfortunately too soft for my personal preference.
Breakfast was good overall, especially the egg station where guests can order eggs prepared to their liking.
Overall, this is a modern and well-designed hotel with a strong location, though a few comfort details could be improved.
Standard room, what you'd expect from a chain hotel. The lobby area was nice and spacious, with a bar that looked quite nice too. Huge (paid) parking area with two levels. It's close to a metro station, but it really is quite far from everything else. If you are planning to visit the city, I'd highly recommend to stay more closer to the city center because after late night, you'll have to get an expensive Taxi to come back. No late night tram stops nearby. The rooms were typical in size, bathroom, amenities, etc. They stored our bags until late evening, which we appreciated. There is a small kiosk that you can buy munchees if you take on a Brocolli adventure, with cheap chocolates and chips.
The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding, and good soundproofing and natural light. The service was professional and attentive; the concierge and front desk were responsive and paid attention to details. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Definitely worth it! Thumbs up! 👍
The location might seem a bit far out, but it's right next to the LRT station, making it even more convenient to get to the city center than staying in the city center itself. The downside is there aren't many dining options nearby, just a McDonald's across the street. The hotel facilities are extremely modern, perfect for younger guests. The elevators are super cool – you select your floor on an external digital screen, and it automatically assigns one to you. This is really convenient, but it took me a while to figure it out on my first stay. The underground parking is very high-tech, but the parking fee isn't cheap at 25 a night.
The hotel isn't in the city center, but getting around by metro is super convenient, and Amsterdam isn't a huge city anyway. It's a 5-minute walk from the metro station, and the path is pretty flat, which is great when you're dragging luggage. (Picture 1 shows the view from the metro exit.) Rooms are cleaned daily. There aren't any individual shampoo, conditioner, or toothbrushes, just a single shower gel, but that's pretty standard for European hotels. The pillows are quite high but not hard; I found them easy to sink into and comfortable. The Wi-Fi speed was good most of the time. I couldn't find an on/off switch for the air conditioning, only temperature adjustments. The motion-sensor light in the bathroom was a bit funny – it would go dark after a few minutes! The staff were friendly and efficient. Other than check-in, check-out, and storing luggage, I didn't interact with them much. Luggage storage is free, which is a nice perk. After checking out, there's a restroom, sofa, and charging ports on the ground floor, which is perfect for a quick refresh before heading to the airport. There aren't many restaurants nearby, so it's a good idea to eat before heading back. Although the room isn't huge, the bed is small and the layout is well-designed, making it surprisingly functional. We could open two large suitcases at once. Overall, it's quite similar to a budget hotel back home, but prices are bound to vary due to location, especially during tulip season when they definitely go up. For the price, it's still decent value for money.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Customer Service was good. My only criticism is I didn't understand the see through shower walls. I was staying with a freind as part of a stag group and the only way we could shower privately was if we turned the bathroom light off. Perfect for a honey moon sweet however it wasnt the occasion for it 😅
Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Clean, central and within walking distance of station.

Outstanding
SsohOne of the best stays I ever had. Very warm and beautifully decorated place. Camilla, the host made me the best breakfast, not exaggerated in my life. Thank you, big hug and love to Camilla for a very wonderful stay. Mark Soh
AAlahabadexiahoubaThere is bus No. 37 at the entrance of the hotel, which seems to run every half an hour; it takes about 10 minutes to the subway and N S station. It feels like it's near a residential area and relatively quiet. I just didn't expect to catch up with the EU's annual large-scale cardiovascular meeting and annual car race during the stay, and the accommodation cost was frighteningly high! The service and environment of the hotel are very good, the room is very large, there are no slippers, but it is very comfortable to step on the floor with bare feet.
KKenwkcThe hotel was centrally located and there are great transport links to attractions. However, the room we booked did not feel like a ‘4-star’ hotel. The executive queen room was small and it felt like we were in university halls. When we arrived the basin was clogged, which was fixed after we spoke to the staff. Then we realized the shower drains were also clogged so the staff helpfully fixed that the day after. However, the air con was malfunctioning even though we had informed the staff about it. There was considerable dust all over the desk and in the gap between the wall and bed when we checked in. I’d be hesitant to rebook with this hotel when I’m back in Amsterdam
.
CclaborateThe reception was warm and the service was thoughtful. You will be seated first when checking in. Drinks and snacks will be prepared for you and then you can check in slowly. The breakfast was rich. I don't know if it was due to the translation or something else, but the basement written in Chinese on Ctrip was not the basement but the top floor. However, the parking fee for self-driving in Amsterdam is really explosive.
GGuest UserI was in Amsterdam for work at RAI and the hotel was a pleasant 25-minute walk away. I enjoyed the scenery along the way, and it was a bonus to catch a rowing competition happening on the Amstel River – quite a sight! The hotel's room service was excellent, and housekeeping was always prompt. The restaurant was also clean and hygienic.
ピピンキー^_^When we checked in, they were very polite and kind, and even though we don't speak either English or Dutch, they explained things to us in easy-to-understand English. They even carried our suitcases up to our room, which was very helpful.
The room was very spacious, and there was plenty of room even with two suitcases spread out.
When we checked out, we had to use the stairs to get from the room, so it was difficult to carry our suitcases up, but a cleaning man who happened to be passing by helped us out, which was very helpful.
We were able to check out online, but we had to return the card key to an employee, and since there was another guest in front of us, it took a while to return the key.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.
