This was my 2nd stay at this hotel within 1 week. Extremely happy with the service, the friendliness, the cleanliness and the general atmosphere of this hotel. Larissa at reception is the friendliest and obliging reception I have ever encountered. Vincent the maintenence man is extremely helpful with tips abt Amsterdam city and of course if anything needs to be done. The manager is helpful and always willing to answer many questions and give correct advice. To sum up I highly recommend this hotel for short or long stay. Very well priced with excellent service.

We liked the location in a vibrant but relaxed neighbour hood. Our attic room was nice but bathroom shower was too cramped, it was impossible to shower without knocking the taps. The air con struggled in the hot weather to cool the room so we had to open the French doors at night. Kettle in the room but I preferred the free coffee from reception, just a bit scary using the stairs with a full cup. There is a Lidl at the end of the street for essentials.

The hotel is in a great location, close to a public transport stop, shops, some great bars. Great view from the window (we got a room with a balcony facing the central street). The staff is pleasant, helpful, helps to orientate in the city - offers a map of places of interest. Breakfast is delicious. The room is clean, the bathroom is spacious enough. Very comfortable bed and pillows (for me personally). We will come back and recommend to others.
