Two large cruise ships docked and left during the 4-night stay, but I felt a little suffocated for a moment. It felt like a small apartment was parked in front of my house… I wanted to ride it once after looking at the exterior of the cruise ship…
The Hilton Auckland breakfast was a bit cramped compared to other places, and the line was long because it was the end of the year, and it was generally distracting.
On the third day, I ordered an omelet, but it was barely cooked, so I asked again, and the server asked if I ordered it well-done, which seemed a bit strange, so I said I would make it again, but after a while, it wasn’t an omelet, but it looked like scrambled eggs, which surprised me.
I thought it was because the kitchen was busy, and since it was the end of the year, I just let it go, but my husband and I still laugh about having to order an omelet well-done.
It’s not far from the airport, so it’s less tiring to get around, and the location is good for getting around, and the Hilton has a unique ship-shaped exterior.

Amazing location but hotel service is slow. Maybe during Christmas holiday….overall is great! Penthouse room with awesome pier and ocean view. We enjoy to stay there very much.
