très satisfait de cet hôtel, tout à fait dans notre style,la classe,du personnel aux petits soins, tous !je recommande et si nous retournons à Aurillac,pas d' hésitation c est à l' hôtel des Carmes que nous séjournerons.

Séjour d’une nuit dans les chaleurs d’été. Il faut souligner l’extraordinaire gentillesse et compétence de l’accueil ! C’est un vrai plus! Amabilité et courtoisie. La chambre, comme beaucoup, donne sur la terrasse du restaurant donc peut être bruyante et, sans climatisation (quel dommage !), impossible de fermer les fenêtres sans étouffer. C’est dommage. Il manque un distributeur de savon pour les mains dans la salle de bain/toilettes. C’est un minimum pour l’hygiène. Le gel douche ne peut pas servir à une double fonction ! Sinon chambre propre, confortable et spacieuse. La restauration est excellente, c’est un point très très positif mais un des serveurs est absolument exécrable et son attitude impolie gâche tout. Dommage. Au final, une expérience en demi-teinte.

L’hôtel est peut-être 3 étoiles, mais la chambre que j’occupais ne l’est pas : Aucune étagère pour ranger ses affaires (la seule existante étant encombrée par un oreiller une couverture et un sèche-cheveu), une penderie ouverte avec quelques pauvres cintres de récupération et difficilement accessible car encombrée par une chaise, une salle d’eau avec juste une petite tablette au dessus du lavabo, impossible de poser ses affaires de toilette, mais surtout une cuvette de WC très entartrée ainsi que le bac de douche (joint moisi). De plus la fenêtre donnait directement sur la deuxième terrasse du restaurant : il est heureux que ce soir-là la clientèle n’ait pas été suffisamment nombreuse pour qu’elle soit occupée ! Points positifs : la literie propre et confortable, mais c’est le minimum qu’on puisse demander à un hôtel, personnel à l’accueil aimable. Si l’on veut séjourner dans cet hôtel, bien situé, il faut sans doute (?) préciser qu’on ne veut pas être dans l’annexe qui n’est pas digne d’un 3 étoiles.

Great location near rail. Super nice staff. Very clean and nice rooms. Great shower. Small rooms but very normal for this type of spot in a big city. Close to a wonderful food area. Shakespeare library, and Notre-Dame. Shopping and bars too.
